Large soft pretzel with cheese sauce, stoneground mustard and pickled onions/pickles
Serena M.

My husband and I decided to go enjoy lunch and boy did we enjoy ourselves. The ChimChurri TriTip was absurdity delicious, the acidity in the pickled onions and chimchurri sauce worked so well with the garlic aoli with the tender tritip. I had the onion rings as the sides, probably the best onion rings I can remember. All was eaten up. Had only a little of room left to experience the large pretzel that we had ordered also. What I had eaten of eat was quite tasty also. Our server was attentive throughout our time there.

A flight of beers, from amber to porter. All were delicious.

Service was prompt, the food was excellent and the price reasonable. I would definitely recommend and visit again.

Note to self - Taco Tuesdays and Happy Hour with bar seating! Bring my daughter! Quality/Quantity - Well, as you can see from the note above, Taco Tuesdays during Happy Hour with bar seating is the BEST day and time to come. What a big difference in our experience from our last visit. Taco - Wow, I mean wow. I did not expect the street tacos to be so good. All 3 of my tacos had a crispy skin/layer as if they were deep fried...? And the sauce with a slight kick was a perfect compliment. The limes seemed dry and old...? As if it was precut days in advance? Anyways, they were still a homerun. And 3 was a perfect quantity to compliment my beers. My wife only got two tacos. She also liked it. BC Octoberfest - Good start and complimented my dinner. Walloper Scotch Ale - Perfect way to end the meal. Don't worry, I have more of your beer at home, lol. Atmosphere - Copy and pasted from my previous review. Interestings place. Felt like they slowly acquired neighboring places and kept expanding...? Same place/company, but a few different sections. Brew Pub - This was where we dined today. Behind us was the Beer Garden, not sure if there was a way to get from the Pub to the Garden without having to walk around. The Beer Garden was just an outdoor patio and the Pub had an outdoor patio as well. Event Room - This was cool, see pictures. Sorry, I should have labeled the pictures better but I was sure you could figure it out. Tap Room - Closed the day we came which just means we will be back. See pictures. Lastly, their Production Facility - See other Yelp review. I felt it was a cooler space, but with limited food. No more than "six" customers (tables) today, so plenty of parking. Open 7 days a week from 10am or 11am to 11pm. Many promotions, see pictures or their website. Service - Sitting at the bar usually always gets us good (better) service. Unless we are entertaining, this will be our go-to place and seating. Price - $22+ tip. Wow, this might be the least expensive meal I have had in a VERY long time! And I had two beers! See you in a few weeks on Tuesday! And I plan to bring my daughter as she also loves tacos (and beer). Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 2012. 2018 - BC taproom opened.

Din Din Scores: Quality of Service - 6.5 Quality of Food - 6.5 Atmosphere - 7.75 Cost - $$ Great spot to grab a beer, crush some wings, and pretend the burger you ordered wasn't just an excuse to keep drinking. The wings? Slapped. The beer? Cold and committed. The rest? Fine if you're not trying to impress anyone, including yourself. Come for the apps, stay for the buzz. Just don't go full entrée this ain't date night, it's wing night.

The place is friendly , the Bartender was very very nice, and the beers were great. Unfortunately, their food options are very limited. According to the Bartender, they're working on expanding their menu.

Average Joe Burger and Fries

Been a while since we tried The Brewer's Cabinet and I'm glad we did. The Average Joe Burger I had was solid, the fries though were excellent. Service was really pleasant and helpful as well as being quick. Great selection of beers and lots of televisions which allowed you to watch the football games from pretty much every seat in the house. The decor is subtle, yet attractive. Definitely not haute cuisine, but the food and drink is what you'd expect from a place like this. Will likely return in the future.

I've been here so many times and am sad this is my first review. Brewers Cabinet is my neighborhood restaurant and I come here frequently for Lunch, Dinner, and Happy Hour. The staff is always friendly and attentive, and accommodating to our kids and our dog when she tags along. I love the outdoor seating during the warmer months, the back patio is especially nice when we have the dog with us, and the staff always makes sure to bring water out for her. The beer selection is solid, with several different varieties, and I often find great seasonal brews that I always enjoy. Dragon Punch IPA is a flagship brew that I enjoy often when I don't find something different. One of my recent favorites is the Crooked Palm, a refreshing IPA with a hint of coconut. I've tried most of the options on the menu at this point. The BLTA is one of my favorites, and the Brew master Burger is another go to. For apps, the Taco Trio is excellent and could be an entree as well. The Chimichurri Steak salad is also a excellent entree, my wife and I usually split that and a burger or sandwich. The fries are delicious as well, they have a sweet seasoning, guessing brown sugar, and they are always hot and delicious. They have a classic kids menu with burgers, tenders, mac and cheese, etc. It's priced reasonably, which I always appreciate with a family of 5. The happy hour is also a good deal. $2 off select beer, cocktails, and appetizers. Happy hour is from 4-6pm daily. I make sure to mention this because it's not on their website. They also have Burger Monday, $15 for a Burger and Beer. Lastly, the Tap house is a fun addition with a more casual space and larger bar area. They serve food there as well so don't hesitate to stop in there if the restaurant looks busy. All this talk of Brewers cabinet is making me hungry, may head there for dinner tonight!

Walloper scotch ale

Soooo much fun!! We loved our stop at the Brewer's Cabinet. The beer was absolutely delish, and we enjoyed the atmosphere here. The music is perfect, the service is great, and we loved the food and drink. I ordered the Walloper Scotch Ale...this is one of the best beers I've had. I loved it. My hubby got one too and he agreed. We also had food. I ordered the bbq pork sandwich. It was so moist and tender and the sauce was great. My hubby had the brewers burger and enjoyed it too! Get the beer cheese! Yum!! Mina was fantastic! She made sure that we had a great time and our food came out super fast. We will be back! So much fun on our Reno date night!

Brewers cabinet used to be at the top of my list for places to eat but my last few experiences have been so disappointing. Tonight we made our way down and got to BC at 9:20 pm for a late night dinner. We live 25 minutes away and drove all the way here to enjoy some nice food and beer. According to the business hours online, BC is open until 11pm. We got there and the hostess let us know that it was slow so "everyone decided to go home" and they wouldn't be able to serve us. Major waste of our time. The hours should be updated to reflect the kitchen closes early if that's a thing? Or at least on the website. My previous visit, my friend made a reservation for 10 people a week ahead of time in the beer garden for a special occasion. This reservation was accepted. Upon arriving the next week, we were sat inside. When questioned why we weren't in the beer garden, they said it was reserved for a graduation party. We asked why they double booked the beer garden (we had made the reservation online) and the hostess told us that they do not check your preference of seating when you reserve online. If this is true, then you should probably take off the option to reserve seating.

The waitress said "the kitchen will get mad at you if you place an order", a very unprofessional and rude response. Overall, The food was subpar too, dry hamburgers and overpriced. I don't think a place of business should be sending out texts encouraging people to purchase a specific product that is not currently offered and that's exactly what Revision did. What a waste of peoples' time. Unsubscribed in disappointment and frustration. Social media director, take note! Another complaint is that they have now become "family friendly". I do not want to go to a brewery for adult beverages and end up having to listen to children screaming and running about. They are also no longer allowing outside food to be brought in because they have on site food, serving pizza and hot dogs. We tried a pizza on our last visit, $21 for a large 3 meat which is big enough for 2 adults. Pizza was meh, 3 stars, definitely could have used more toppings. We were thankful it did come out fresh. On a positive note, if you like what seems to be an abundance of IPA style beers they have you covered! They did have some enjoyable, yet expensive stouts on tap along with a couple other non IPA styles.

The Burger was most excellent in size, taste and freshness , and the onion rings were quite excellent in number provided as well as taste. My wife went with the Carnitas tacos, which I had one of, and while the rice and beans on side were tasty and fresh, the Tacos were a disappointment as the meat and shell, while plentiful, was on the dry side to the point that even the tasty salsa wasnt enough to bring the level up. The ambiance is very lively, the service is on point, only the Tacos keep me from giving this a 5 star.

Cut and pasted from their website: "Slieve means "A…read moreMountain" in Irish Gaelic, their family roots." Quality/Quantity - Been an extremely long stressful day! So I NEEDED a break from the day to just relax and stop thinking! I gave my wife a few options, a few breweries to choose from (or for me to just go alone, which she would not have let me drink and drive, especially all the way from North Reno). So she/we chose to go to Slieve as I have not been there yet. Actually, all 3 choices were breweries. The good news is that there are more and more new breweries opening. The bad news is that there are more and more good breweries closing, in ALL my hometowns... My first time in a nano brewery; cool. Today I got (and tried the following), all Slieve brands; support local: Oh, I did not know you had a happy hour M-F from 2-5pm; I just missed it by 13 minutes... Should not have spent so much time outside taking pictures for Yelp, lol. Pale Ale - Good, but I prefer more flavor. This is currently my second "go to" beer after reds. Jimbo Porter - Better, but then I tried the Cookie Monster! I also did not taste the coconut. Cookie Monster - My favorite of the beers, so much flavor. And I am NOT usually a sweet beer drinker. It was not an overwhelming stout, probably due to the sweetness, but you can definitely taste the chocolate and slightly coffee and caramel flavors. I would get this again, but it would always have to be my last beer due to the flavors. Beers that I need to come back for when available are: Your reds, IPAs and of course your "Trinity Tripel." Ambiance - On your "about" page on your website, it says you are still looking for a home for your brewery...? Is that accurate or does that page need to be updated? Cool space, indoor and outdoor seating. Bar and table seating. 2 bars, one the back, probably only used for events. Semi private room when you walk in. Ping pong, darts, games, cornhole, cool decor on walls throughout to read, etc. Open 7 days a week, see their website. Yelp's hours/days differ slightly. Event spaces are available; see their website.. Service - Good. We were also greeted by Shannon when she and Phillip came in later for a drink or two... Phillip was too busy drinking to say hi, lol. Price - $8 a beer. The typical cost for good craft beer.
