Beautiful view of Reno from the dining room. Moxie's offers a full menu from appetizers to sandwiches, salads, homemade soups and full entrees. There are 3 locations in Reno. Tonight we enjoyed the Cobb sandwich with fries. It is served on toasted sourdough bread. A delicious, generous portion. Also we tried the Greek salad. Another large portion And very tasty. The highlight was dessert, however. A lemon cheesecake served in a crock. So creamy and tart. Our server was attentive and pleasant. We sat in the bar area for the view, but both bar and dining room have plenty of seating. For a Sunday evening the place was buzzing. They also provide take out service. Delicious food, drinks and attentive server! Be sure to visit!

If you sit on the north side of the room in this restaurant you have an amazing view of Reno and Sparks. The waitress was really nice! However, the salad that came ahead of the Chicken Parmesan was starting to wilt so it wasn't eaten. The Chicken Parmesan on the other hand was reported to be "O.K.". I ordered the Tri Tip dip with fries. The sandwich came piled with meat and melted Swiss. My complaint with the sandwich was that the bun wasn't toasted making it disintegrate the instant you dip it in the au jus. Sandwiches like this require a more sturdy bun. The menu itself had some nice sounding entrees, salads and apps. I was hoping for something more.

I can't find M3 on yelp, but we've visited all of the Moxie's locations and have had mostly positive experiences. M3 is our favorite. The sweet potato fries are the best. We also love the ambiance and the service is always great. One of our go-to places for our girls' nights out.

I ordered the Prime Rib Stroganoff to go as I was reading about in Reno Foodies. I called in my order and had it ready when I arrived. It was only 14 bucks and prime rib beef? Heck yah! I will say the beef was so tender, the sour cream was served on the side so you could add to your liking. I will say I wasn't pleased at all. The pasta was so mushy, not al dente, the flavor was very bland! I think it was maybe from day before and maybe they just microwaved it! Needless to say I was dissatisfied, although I felt bad by person who suggested in foodies, I said yes it's good! It's better than some others I've tried. I would like to try again at a later date after everything is open, I honestly think it was pre made so I can definitely understand. I'll give them that the portion was huge and the garlic bread was awesome. I hope to go back to retry when we get back to some normalcy!

We wandered in here with a group of friends for a late brunch/early lunch. The food was okay, everyone at the table ordered something different, and they were all more or less satisfied with their decisions. No one was blown away by it, though. The ingredients were fresh, I will say that. The grilled chicken was tender and juicy. I opted for the Cobb Sandwich and shared a Cobb Salad. The bread was nicely buttered and toasted. There didn't seem to be enough bleu cheese on it however, and I opted to ask for a side of bleu cheese dressing to drizzle on each bite. We didn't order any beer/boozy drinks, but the waitress was kind enough to brew a pot of coffee for us. And that brings us around to the waitress. She wasn't rude, but she came off as short and curt to us from the get go. She seemed to want to rush us through ordering. Later on, when someone asked her for an additional side of something, she snapped back saying that she'll check with everyone once all the food is distributed. Prices were decent for the area.

AMAZING, AMAZING, AMAZING!…read more I came here for my 21st birthday dinner to enjoy some light bites and great cocktails, and it exceeded every expectation. Our waitress, Ijere, made the experience so special with her incredible service and kindness. For food, we ordered the Brussels sprouts, beets, house pickle plate, pork belly, and corvina. And every single dish was absolutely delicious. The portions were good too for being tapas, easily enough for 3-4 of us to share. The cocktails were just as impressive! We tried the Up in Smoke, Hibisly, and Under Pink Skies, and every drink was fantastic. They even customized one of their mocktails into a cocktail for us, which was such a thoughtful touch. To top it all off, the staff surprised me with a handwritten birthday card at the end of dinner. It was such a genuine gesture and made my 21st birthday feel incredibly special. I can't recommend this place enough if you're looking for amazing food, creative cocktails, and exceptional hospitality. I'll definitely be back!

After noting our anniversary on the reservation, Erin personally reached out to ask how long we'd been married and even offered us a complimentary toast. It was such a thoughtful touch before we had even arrived. When we walked in, we were greeted by name, and Erin took the time to explain the menu and answer every question we had. The service throughout the evening was exceptional. The food and cocktails were outstanding. Each dish arrived with perfect timing, and you could truly taste the love and care that went into every plate. Everything was creative, beautifully presented, and packed with incredible flavor. The cocktails were delicious, the Caesar salad tasted incredibly fresh with a rich house-made dressing and perfectly sliced anchovies, and the roasted beets were my absolute favorite--I've never had a beet dish with so many complementary flavors. The New York steak and potatoes were cooked to perfection. To end the evening, Erin brought out our limoncello almond cake with a sparkler candle and a handwritten anniversary card signed by the entire staff. It was such a heartfelt surprise that made the night even more memorable. This was my first experience at a tapas-style restaurant, and I was a little worried it wouldn't feel like a complete meal. I couldn't have been more wrong. The portions were perfect for the two of us, and we loved being able to share and sample a variety of dishes. The food was phenomenal, but what truly set Centro Bar and Kitchen apart was the genuine hospitality. They went above and beyond to make our anniversary feel special, and it's an experience we'll never forget. We can't wait to come back!

Honestly, I'd still come here even if the food weren't amazing--but thankfully, it absolutely is. I am embarrassed to admit I was skeptical the first time I heard about the chicken skin nachos, but the moment I tried them, I was hooked. They remind me of the freshest chicharrónes and give the nachos the perfect crispy texture. The Cajun queso and andouille sausage on top are incredible. I've had just about everything on the menu, and not once have I been disappointed. GET THE SALTED BUTTER PECAN ICE CREAM!! You will most likely be too stuffed to eat it there, but take some home. Great place to go for a cocktail, lunch and dinner!!!…read more Beer glasses are frosty cold. Food is always prepared and presented perfectly and everything has always tasted delicious and fresh. I tend to crave beet salads (I know-a bit weird) and those are surprisingly hard to find. This place has them and when paired with blackened chicken, nothing is better! How's that for an opening. We went to Bistro 7 to celebrate my birthday. We arrived at 5pm, wanting an early dinner. The place was basically empty, with only a couple of other tables occupied. After perusing the menu, orders were placed for both appetizers and mains. The appetizers arrived pretty quickly. I must say the calamari was pretty good, nice batter and the pieces were pretty big. We ordered the tempura green beans. Not my jam. The batter was soggy and the green beans had a waxy taste to them. Not for me. After the appetizers we waited for our mains....and waited.....and waited. We were finally served our main courses, probably 45-50 minutes after we arrived. Remember the restaurant was basically empty. I ordered the Ribeye. There was nothing wrong with my order, my meal was fine but not worth the $47 asking price. The steak was way to thin for a proper Ribeye. My friend ordered the Steak Sandwich. He said that his sandwich was more tendon and gristle than steak. Very unfortunate. Another friend ordered the fish taco's. Completely devoid of any flavor and clearly not worth the price. One of our friends ordered a simple burger but wanted it well done. The first burger was served a very rare. It was sent back. She did not receive her second burger until well over an hour after we first arrived. Everyone was literally done with our meals, before her corrected burger arrived. In fairness, the manager did come over and apologized and did removed the charge for the burger but does it really take so long to correct an order for a burger ? Like I said the wait staff were friendly and were working hard but based on the quality of the food coming out to the kitchen, not to mention the absolutely unacceptable time before our food was delivered, there are FAR better options in Reno.

When we showed up, we asked if we could sit at a table outside, the guy was a little overwhelmed, he said "I can sit you in 10 mins". I said "can we have this table". OK, but....just know I'll be with you as soon as I get caught up, I'm totally fine with that I said. . He bought us a couple menus to look over. Then a table on the railing with shade opened up, I didn't care about the table was dirty with dishes, so we decided to move. I love to look at the river and watch the people go by. The server said, I'll be over soon! He was never so happy when Sierra showed up to help him out. He came over to our table I said "I hope you don't mind, I moved to be in the shade, I know I'm one of those pain in the ass customers". Then he started joking with me and it was the perfect ice breaker. My server and part owner's name is Casey! He is an awesome guy and such a hard worker to ensure his customers are taken care of. I love that. We had a couple beers, he has quite the selection of beers on tap, he supports the community breweries such as Lead Dog and Revisions. My husband had the breakfast burrito $13, it was huge with homemade tortilla chips with salad and guacamole. I had the fish and chips. You get three large pieces of fish, fries and yummy coleslaw. I love how they put the tater sauce and ketchups in personal cups for you that shows class. My fish was absolutely delicious better than the old Smees and especially the new location. I was definitely in the mood to try something new. After some searching The Spot is what caught our eye. Located by the river and where Reef and Smees used to be. including what you ordered or used, Since this was a new spot we decided to just order and share a ton of appetizers. This included: cup of cream of mushroom soup, pretzel bites, spinach dip, poutine fries and Brussel sprouts. 2/5 were a huge hit where the orders we would not try again. Cup of mushroom soup: cup size is a good appetizer portion, good mushroom taste but WAY too salty. Would not order again. Pretzel bites: SUPER YUM! Slightly crunchy at the corners and fluffy inside. Perfectly bite sized and great dips (cheese and mustard). Loved these and would absolutely order again. Spinach dip: not a fan. The one thing I did like about this is that the dip portion was extremely generous, but I was not a fan of the taste. For me it was like slightly watered down sour cream. You have the options of chips or baguette. We went with baguette and for the first time in my life, the dipping vessels were very scant compared to the amount of dip so if anyone orders this, I would recommend it with chips. Would not order again. Poutine fries: YUM! Definitely a shareable portion. Thin fries topped with yummy breaded cheese curds and piping hot gravy this was my favorite thing. The gravy was perfectly salted and I loved the breaded cheese curds. I do wish the fries were thicker, like a wedge cut but honestly these were insanely good. Will order again. Brussel sprouts: made with bacon which is always a must for that yummy flavor. Also drizzled with balsamic which is a win in my book. These were very tender and delicious but very oily or greasy which kind of gave me the ick but flavor was definitely there. Will not order again. We were seated immediately upon arriving and waters were brought out. Orders were taken quickly and food came out quick! However after the food came out, no one came to check on us, see how we were doing or clear plates. We were always having to flag someone down for refills, napkins and the check. It wasn't busy. The inside is clean, has a large bar area and outdoor seating. Also lots of TVs. I don't think I'll be returning, but I do recommend the poutine fries and pretzel bites. Things to note: Have to walk up stairs to enter. No private parking lot, have to street park and a lot of parking is metered. 9:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday - Saturday & free on Sundays / holidays.

Our server was lovely, newer, but kind with a great sense of humor. The food was good. The salmon and red wine reduction was a very strange combo, skip it. The ambience was nostalgic of fine dining in days past with worn but comfortable seating and pleasant atmosphere. Although, having been too many fun dining establishments, the buses need some training. As they reached across us over us and around us to clear plates and serve. Sadly, the night was abruptly ended as the manager came over. And told us we had to leave because he had another table to seat at ours. There are many ways a manager could do this, and yes, we have been there for a little over two hours, enjoying our time, the service was slow, in a way that encouraged taking your time...a fine dining experience, which generally you would think would be unrushed. We ordered drinks, salad, salads, mains, dessert for 4... No split meals, no split tabs. One credit card and a generous tip. We had already paid the bill and were getting ready to go within the next few minutes because we all needed to be home before 8. The manager came over was extremely unkind and rude in his tone and request. He told me, without provocation, didn't care if we gave him a bad review. And two hours was long enough for dinner. We all walked out in silence, aghast at his terrible manners and words. All that to say, diner beware. This man undid a wonderful evening with a few sharp words and extremely awful service and poor manners. Realizing that had he said it nicely, we would've popped right up. We were already ready to go. And that treating your customers -who just spent a few hundred dollars with you - with respect and warmth versus treating them with contempt and rudeness. We will not be back. Not that he cares, but if you're looking for a place to have a leisurely fine meal over the course of a couple hours, this isn't it.
