We stopped in for breakfast for the first time. Please go have breakfast there, delicious and wonderful! So loving this place.

Bowl of clam chowder
sharon t.

I had a craving for clam chowder. Being that it's Friday I hoped FTP would be serving chowder. The place did not disappoint!! I got a lovely bowl of clam chowder that was absolutely delicious!! It came with a couple of packets of crackers tho you can order garlic bread as a side for $1.99. The only thing I didn't like was that I had 2 bay leaves in my bowl of soup. I understand why they are in there. But as a restaurant person I would not leave them in the served soup. Some people especially kids might not know they aren't edible. My DH had the Chinese chicken salad which he really enjoyed!! We will be back.

Waiting to get our order in side. It's beautiful in here

Got invited to lunch today. Went to flowing tides super great service and the food was really good. Loved the grilled chicken sandwich and the fries were my favorite. Stop by. Try it out sometime. We've got a big menu

My first time at the Flowing Tide Pub 10. The remodeling to go from restaurant to sports bar left me stunned. What a difference - the transformation is phenomenal. This Flowing Tide Pub has it together. I ordered the fish and chips lunch special that was also served with a side of Cole slaw. The fish is battered and fried on the premises. So my fish and fries were out of the fryer, plated and piping hot when my order arrived at the table. It was the right choice. I was concerned I would be served a smelly fish - not so. Enough fish for 2 persons, the French fries and the slaw are always good side dishes for fried fish. Maria had a tuna melt and commented it is the best one she has had in this area. A variety of tap and bottled beers. We found out they also serve breakfast. We will definitely be back soon for breakfast. Video poker at the bar, 4 good-sized tv screens, pleasing ambiance, friendly staff, 15% veterans discount, happy hour, ample parking, very good service.

We came here on a Thursday afternoon and during their opening week. We were met by a host and were seated in a timely manner. Our server Sam was very nice and gave us wonderful service, even though I looked like a hobo. The whole bar received an overhaul which is really nice to see! This bar took over the spot that was formerly The Lakeside Bar and Grill. The whole bar has gaming, so I may try their video games the next time. Even the high top table seats are comfortable and are even. I hate when the table or chairs rock from being old. I ordered a Blue Moon draft and a half order of chicken nachos. My husband had a 7-up and the Bourbon burger. We were both surprised with the size of our orders and they were both really tasty. This new restaurant was pretty busy, but gave great customer service! The owner Jimmy stopped by our table to say hi, but he caught us in between bites of food, so we just nodded and smiled. I'm very excited to have more dining choices in Spanish Springs.

Shrimp cocktail. A bit stingy on cocktails sauce but yummy

Service tonight was fantastic. Perhaps neurotic on par with my needs but just my cup of tea.....the venue just switched over but fully a improvement ... minus the ahem lack of cocktail sauce on shrimp cocktail BUT very quickly remedied by Jillian and Whitney Tiramisu needs improvement. Can't stand Hershey chocolate drizzle. Frozen and ehh. Not horrible but could easily be Yumm.

Pre-opening, beautiful mural!

Locals loved "The Lake Bar and Grill" and we all know that change is hard. However, sometimes change is necessary and this is probably one of the best changes they could have made. Spanish Springs' dining options have been limited for as long as I can remember which, as a lifetime local, is a pretty long time. It's a small community out here and there was a lot of attachment to the previous establishment. I went in tonight with an open mind and a palate for previous visits to Flowing Tide Pubs across Reno and Sparks. First off, Sheri is the GM and fielded my calls with questions, beautifully. She's also just as nice in person. I went inside to get our food to go, through our server Tino who was with me from beginning to end. Great service, considering I was messing with the dine in flow. There was a wait to be seated for those wanting a table but it didn't seem unreasonable. There are surprisingly quite a few tables, 18 to be exact, on the pub and grill side with 20 bar seats. The lounge/smoking side has a long bar and four tables too. They really opened the place up!! While I waited for our to go, I got a lot of nice photos of the food. Everyone was great about me taking pictures too! So if you're missing The Lake, don't worry, you'll be okay. Portions appear to be more than generous across the board and prices are great for the amount of food you get. One lady's half order of nachos, (already half consumed) was still huge! A regular cheeseburger was quite large (and had me wanting one!). Everyone I spoke to loved what they were eating. Now on to what we actually ordered...I got the pot roast which was so tasty. It has a rich, brown, mushroom gravy and the meat was exceptionally tender. Their signature dish is the fish and chips which my mom and husband both had and loved - crispy on the outside and flaky on the inside, cooked to perfection. My little cousin had the quesadilla and she said it was good and one of my grands got the garlic parmesan wings to which she said "my mom needs to step up her garlic game". Overall, our experience with #10 was exceptional and I can't wait to dine in!

Eggs Benedict

Love what was done to the previous Lake restaurant and bar. Had breakfast with a large group. My Eggs Benedict was delicious and worth ordering. Pricing was unexpectedly reasonable. Happy this is in our neck of the woods. Our server was pleasant although the food a little slow to come out. That didn't bother us as we were enjoying the conversation of friends and family.

Everything from the food, the service in the ambience was on point. I've only been to the one location down by the DMV in Reno and I'm so happy that this one opened up close to where I live. I went for my birthday and brought my son and I had the Fish and chips which were delicious and he had the bourbon burger and we had a great time for my birthday we will definitely be back.

New location with good food and friendly servers. Very cool nautical ambiance. They also have a good happy hour for food and drinks. Longer wait times as it is the shiny new thing. Will certainly return. Also, good spot to watch sports. Two thumbs up.

The new FTP-10 looks & feels more like a regular restaurant than a pub. This was the 1st FTP we've had to sign in & wait to be seated where they want you to sit. Then it was another 10 minutes before a server came to the table. The staff was over the top friendly but clearly overwhelmed. The food arrived quickly & was consistent with other FTP's.

It's not a place where you are surrounded by random "barflies" who don't engage with others or bother you. This is one of the best sandwiches I've had. I also got clam chowder as my side which was also really good, not too salty. The service was really great! Any of the servers who saw we had empty glasses refilled them or cleared plates. There is a beautiful outdoor patio area, it was about a 30 minute wait. We've been here numerous times, and it is long overdue that I give them the five stars they deserve. The Vibe & Hospitality tucked away in the corner of a shopping center on Los Altos, this is the definition of a true locals' spot. The history here is incredible--the owner, Jim, relocated and rebuilt this business after losing everything in the Paradise Camp Fire. That "rising from the ashes" spirit is reflected in the hospitality. Jim is constantly making rounds to ensure everyone feels welcome. If you get a visit from him at your table, you'll see exactly why this place has so much soul. Jen the manager is also amazing and consistently ensures the service is fantastic. The Patio & Pet-Friendly atmosphere the patio is a great space and is very pet-friendly. We've brought our beagle, Bodhi, and Jim even made a point to come out and say hello to him personally. Those small touches are what turn a restaurant into a favorite. The Food & Drinks the menu is top-tier. A few standouts from our many visits: * The Deep Dish Pizza: A total showstopper. When it hits the table, it literally turns heads across the entire restaurant. It requires a 45-minute prep time, but it is absolutely worth the wait. * Burgers & French Dip: The burger is easily one of the best in the Reno/Sparks area, and the French Dip is amazing. * The Wings: Often wings are just an afterthought, but these are really, really good. * The Bar: They have a solid craft beer selection (the flights are a must) and their Aperol Spritz and French 75 are perfectly executed. Whether you are looking for a great aesthetic, a lively sports bar energy, or just a high-quality meal, this is the spot. Support this local business--you won't regret it.

We were surprised a manager never came over to check on us and apologize. She said that he was in back yelling at employees, never once did a manager address the problem with us the customer! Was charged full price with no sincere apology. I have been in the customer service industry and been a business owner for decades. Always valued my customers as they are the ones keeping the doors open. Giving 2 stars instead of 1 because I am pleased to say once we received hot food it was very good. And glad to say, that in my experience, this is still the closest we have in Reno to a "soccer bar". This has always been a great spot. Small, yes, but in that casual, intimate, easy-going way that has a lot of charm. Lots of hard-wood finishes, barstools, and TVs to catch what's on. And at time of writing, totally overflowing with futbol energy. There are a good number of bar spaces, tables, and outside seating overlooking the river, which is a BIG draw. The beer selection here is great, both on tap and in cansor bottles. But they also have a decent full-barselection of wines, spirits, and cocktails. Plus, a decent smattering of N/A options. And prices are on par with most other bars in town. Service here has been quite good. Friendly in the extreme, and relatively prompt. Though if there are big, crowded events (such as a game being on), you may have a little slowdown. Plus, the vibes here are just fantastic. The location also cannot be beat, as it is ell placed to enjoy the riverfront and explore more of the area. Though parking may be a bit tight, depending on where you park and what day or time it is. There is also no food options here, but there are plenty of restaurants within a 5-minute walk. All in all, I am glad some of the energy I remember is still here. I will have to come back during MLS or Premier League matches to see how things stand. And with a soccer team HOPEFULLY returning to Reno, I definitely hope we can get the local supporters groups to return here, as well. Definitely a libation spot not to be missed. Cheers!
