First time visiting here, and wow -- it was incredibly busy for a Saturday night at 10 PM. I've been to the other Flowing Tide location in Sparks, which felt a bit more spacious in the main dining area. This location definitely had a different atmosphere. The main bar area felt very crowded and energetic, while the overflow section seemed much quieter and almost empty in comparison, making the layout feel a little disjointed during peak hours. That said, Cherri absolutely made the experience enjoyable. Despite nearly every table being filled, she provided fast, friendly, and attentive service the entire time. She consistently checked on us and made sure we had everything we needed, which is impressive considering how busy it was. She also let us know about the late-night happy hour specials, which had great prices -- unfortunately we had already eaten, otherwise we definitely would've taken advantage of them. If you're planning to visit, I'd personally recommend going a little earlier in the evening before the late-night rush or even after midnight since they're open 24 hours. We happened to arrive during what felt like peak late-night hours, but the staff would probably know the best times to avoid the crowd. Overall, thank you again to Cherri for the excellent service! My husband and I went here for dinner on a Monday night. Surprisingly, it wasn't that busy and we were able to find a seat right away. Our server arrived promptly and took our drink orders while we looked at the menu. We come to flowing tide quite frequently so I'm pretty familiar with their menu. It always takes me a minute to figure out what I want because everything I've had there is very tasty. Tonight I settled on a cheeseburger with onion rings. It arrived in short order and both the burger and the onion rings were hot and delicious. The burger was moist and juicy, and the onion rings were crisp and delicious. Flowing tide is a sports bar so the ambience consists of multiple TVs showing different sporting events. Our server was awesome. It's like she read our mind when we needed something because she just appeared with it. The food is consistently good and the prices are quite reasonable. I have been a loyal customer of Flowing Tide for many years and have always enjoyed the food, atmosphere, and especially the staff, who have consistently provided excellent service. Unfortunately, my most recent visit left me very disappointed. One of my favorite cocktails used to cost $11, and during happy hour it was only $9. I was shocked to discover that the same drink is now $16. What was even more disappointing was that, despite visiting every other week, no one mentioned the price increase. I understand that businesses occasionally need to raise prices, but a nearly 50% increase without any notice feels excessive. As a regular customer, I would have appreciated some transparency regarding the change. Sadly, after years of loyalty, this significant price increase has made it difficult for me to justify returning. While I will miss the wonderful staff and the great experiences I've had over the years, this was enough to make me reconsider dining here in the future. I have noticed the changes like many others. My usual, I put $100 in and hardly ever hit anything when a year ago you would at least hit a 5 spot or something to keep you going. Lot of the food isn't bad, staff are amazing and I've been coming here for almost 4 years now. Music could be a bit louder in my opinion. I met friends here to play pool. Though the tables are coin, not legal size, I appreciate that they had one in the nonsmoking section. Most of the bar is pretty Smokey. But they do have a dedicated nonsmoking room which is closed off from the bar. The cues were not in very good shape and there was no chalk. After playing a few games we sat around and had some beers. It was past dinner time and there were plenty of tables open. So they didn't pressure us to order more food than we wanted. The menu is pretty uninspired. So it's been a very long time since I've been at this restaurant. A.k.a. bar a.k.a. hangout a.k.a. if you're not a local then you're not gonna get served the way locals get served. Which service should be the same way no matter what. The people running the TVs wanted to make sure that the locals had what TVs they wanted to have. I wasn't too impressed, but the food is really good. I enjoyed the wings which were a pineapple Asian wing, and I also really enjoyed the Tider Tots tossed in their spicy hot sauce! These nachos are stuffed with cheese, meat (I get ground beef) topped with pico, guacamole and a dab of sour cream. 100% recommended the serice is fantastic and fast almost never busy. This is our favorite of all the Flowing Tides. It's closer to our house than some other ones which makes it convenient. The service is awesome. They're very attentive and nice. I haven't had any bad food here The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because it reminds me of a casino a bit. There's no open windows so it's a bit dark inside. 1.27.24: A couple of friends and I went for lunch. It wasn't busy when we walked in and picked a spot since it's a seat yourself kind of pub. Our server was prompt and friendly. The tide has a great happy hour and we all started out with drinks ; I got the heated mule as I didn't feel like something sweet, my friend tried a couple fruity drinks, and her husband had a beer. If you like a stiff drink, then look no further! The bartender this afternoon had a heavy hand, so no complaints there. As for food, the happy hour menu wins again. I ordered my go-to chicken tenders and nachos. My friend had the Reuben and her husband had the grilled cheese sandburger. Everything looked really good and better yet it tasted great, which is where it counts. However, the grilled cheese sandburger stole the show! It was 2 grilled cheese sammies with a burger in the middle. He said it tasted pretty good too. If you're a fry lover, then it's worth mentioning I love their fries--they're crisp on the outside with a tender not mushy potato inside. Lastly, if you order from the happy hour menu then heads up, no substitutions are allowed. Overall, lunch was fun and the ambience was perfect. I'm a local, new customer at this location and have been disappointed recently with the service from one of the female bartenders with long hair. When I sat at the bar the other day she immediately said I owed money for food from the previous day (other patrons heard her). Told her I dropped over $500 and said the food should have been complimentary because of my "players club" card, which was in the machines online the whole time. When I ordered food after dropping several hundred $ more she gave me a bill for the food & said I wasn't getting it for free. Her attitude was disrespectful & treated me like I was asking for a handout, even when I asked her to clarify how the comps work so I would know in the future. I still tipped her! Debating whether I should continue frequenting this establishment. Customer service training is needed big time. P.S. Flowing tide has been a go to spot for late night drinks and apps because of their awesome happy hour. The prices have gone up over the years but it's still a pretty good deal. We haven't been to a FTP since before the pandemic but decided to stop in for a quick app and beer for nostalgic moment. I ordered a blood orange Hefeweizen and it was really good and had a ton of blood orange flavor without being too sweet. My husband ordered a potter and he liked his as well. We shared the mozzarella sticks which were pretty underwhelming. They were barely warm and just not really the way we remembered them. The service was a little underwhelming as well and the server barely stopped walking each time she asked us if we needed anything. She also charged us for marinara sauce which we thought was odd as that typically comes with mozzarella sticks but it wasn't a huge deal. FTP was a great place for us to hang out with before having kiddos as a late night spot to meet up with friends but we likely wont continue to head here much as there are so many other good places around now. read more

Flowing tide is one of my favorite restaurants in town and I've been making my way to all the locations trying to find my favorite one. I recently visited and had a great time. We brought our baby and he tried pickles for the first time so this location will forever be a core memory for me it was very cute! Our service was friendly and fast.
