May be best happy hour in town with great food and cheap drinks. Special Happy hour menu. The Tide wings are my favorite. Poker machine at the bar and TVs everywhere to watch your favorite game.

So it's been a very long time since I've been at this restaurant. A.k.a. bar a.k.a. hangout a.k.a. if you're not a local then you're not gonna get served the way locals get served. Which service should be the same way no matter what. The people running the TVs wanted to make sure that the locals had what TVs they wanted to have. I wasn't too impressed, but the food is really good. I enjoyed the wings which were a pineapple Asian wing, and I also really enjoyed the Tider Tots tossed in their spicy hot sauce! It's a very clean restaurant just the staff is not 100%. I would definitely give the staff probably 70 maybe at best.

If I want a good place to hang out, grab some food, and have fun, this Flowing Tide has been my go to. You can sit yourself, and service is fast and friendly. They got the sports bar tv set up as well as some pool tables. Clientele are interactive. Food is typical bar food, so not impressive. I get the beer-battered calamari which is fairly tasty. Batter is not too thick, and the meat is chewy. Their sauce is quite good with a bit of spicy kick to it. Depending on how many drinks I get, I spend $15-$30

The best happy hour bar none! 7 dollars will get you the largest nachos! These nachos are stuffed with cheese, meat (I get ground beef) topped with pico, guacamole and a dab of sour cream. 100% recommended the serice is fantastic and fast almost never busy. Love the decorations with the big ship wheel! The arcade is kinda lame but w.e. the kids like the stickers and temp tattoo machines.

We eat here quite often. The food is tasty, service is friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere is relaxed pirate sports bar and grill. Favorite menu items are the fish and chips, apple gorgonzola salad, tuna melt, burgers and breakfasts.

One of the best fish sandwiches I've ever had. Hot and crispy Everything was so tasty. I love the locals vibe. Food portions are large. The servers are young and energetic. They were busy but still able to attentive to everyone.

This is our favorite of all the Flowing Tides. It's closer to our house than some other ones which makes it convenient. The service is awesome. They're very attentive and nice. They have great football Sunday deals on food and drinks. Wings, sandwiches, fries, all good. I haven't had any bad food here The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because it reminds me of a casino a bit. There's no open windows so it's a bit dark inside. That's just a personal a preference though

Flowing tide has been one of my most favorite Reno hang places for many years and I didn't think it could get any better until I met Bill! Thank you Bill, for making one of my faves even better

    Happy Hour...yeeeeeah!

We came in for Saturday Brunch around 10am, early, I know, however we were greeted and given a table right away. The restaurant wasn't busy for a Saturday, we did receive really attentive and thoughtful service from our server, Kylie. While they still had their Holiday drink specials menu, the server did confirm they have 2 for 1 mimosas and $6 bloody marys. The special was a Prime Rib breakfast burrito which both of the people I came in with ordered while I ordered the breakfast BLT. The Prime Rib burrito was so tender and juicy with a fried egg in the middle, definitely a special item for sure. I had the BLT on an everything bagel with a side of fruit and it hit the spot of a lighter, less hearty breakfast. For good service and cheap drinks, I will definitely be back!

The atmosphere is everything you would want from a local bar joint. Pool table, Dart boards nice outside patio with heaters. Appetizers were Onions Rings and Cheesy Garlic Bread. The Onion Rings were tempura style fresh made in house...no frozen bag crap here. For my husband they were a hair on the doughy side but they weren't greasy at all which a totally appreciate. The Garlic bread was tasty having a hard Toasted cheese top with the gooey cheese underneath and the flavor was spot on. I'm a dark beer drinker so I went for the MOOSE DROOL if you had to many the moose wouldn't be the only thing drooling . You can't go to a tavern and not try one of the drafts...that would just be wrong. Hubby had the Prime Rib sandwich thought it was tasty with the chimiruri sauce and provolone cheese. I had the Meatloaf melt. It was the bomb. Tons of grilled onions a total mess to eat but so worth it...just make sure to ask for extra napkins. It's a place worth driving to...hang with the locals and have a pint. Be kind to one another

What happened to the theme days? And the hiring standards?…read more I used to frequent Twin Peaks weekly for a multitude of reasons - the wings are the best from a sports bar in Reno, the ICE cold beer, Whisky selection, the great service, and - of course - the atmosphere, but have minimized going to maybe once a month. TP Reno started off great. A great sports bar experience found in any of their locations, nationwide. Now? The food quality is a roller coaster. Gone are the theme days/weekends outside of the way overdone cowboy/rodeo Fridays. Gone are the hiring standards - yes, corporate has standards set. If it were not for some (definitely not all) of the great servers/bar tenders - Danica, Willow, Lucci, Brooke and a couple of others - along with the ice cold beer, and all the TVs, TP Reno would be just another average sports bar... The owners need to step it back up, or this will be just another failed restaurant due to poor leadership.

Otherwise, the place is huge with plenty of seats. The food is always consistent, with many items from scratch. My suggestion is to give it a try. It was such a beautiful day.... where can we eat outside?…read more I found "The Spot", its in the old Smee's location on the river. When we showed up, we asked if we could sit at a table outside, the guy was a little overwhelmed, he said "I can sit you in 10 mins". I said "can we have this table". OK, but....just know I'll be with you as soon as I get caught up, I'm totally fine with that I said. . He bought us a couple menus to look over. Then a table on the railing with shade opened up, I didn't care about the table was dirty with dishes, so we decided to move. I love to look at the river and watch the people go by. The server said, I'll be over soon! He was never so happy when Sierra showed up to help him out. He came over to our table I said "I hope you don't mind, I moved to be in the shade, I know I'm one of those pain in the ass customers". Then he started joking with me and it was the perfect ice breaker. My server and part owner's name is Casey! He is an awesome guy and such a hard worker to ensure his customers are taken care of. I love that. We had a couple beers, he has quite the selection of beers on tap, he supports the community breweries such as Lead Dog and Revisions. My husband had the breakfast burrito $13, it was huge with homemade tortilla chips with salad and guacamole. I had the fish and chips. You get three large pieces of fish, fries and yummy coleslaw. I love how they put the tater sauce and ketchups in personal cups for you that shows class. My fish was absolutely delicious better than the old Smees and especially the new location. You get a nice meal for $20. They have indoor, outdoor, bar seating. They have a little merch area and a gaming bar if you feel lucky. I know the Open Championship Bowlers are in town, if you're looking for nice comfort food "tavern style" location this is the place for you on the Reno Riverwalk 50 N Sierra. It upstairs.

I was definitely in the mood to try something new. After some searching The Spot is what caught our eye. Located by the river and where Reef and Smees used to be. including what you ordered or used, Since this was a new spot we decided to just order and share a ton of appetizers. This included: cup of cream of mushroom soup, pretzel bites, spinach dip, poutine fries and Brussel sprouts. 2/5 were a huge hit where the orders we would not try again. Cup of mushroom soup: cup size is a good appetizer portion, good mushroom taste but WAY too salty. Would not order again. Pretzel bites: SUPER YUM! Slightly crunchy at the corners and fluffy inside. Perfectly bite sized and great dips (cheese and mustard). Loved these and would absolutely order again. Spinach dip: not a fan. The one thing I did like about this is that the dip portion was extremely generous, but I was not a fan of the taste. For me it was like slightly watered down sour cream. You have the options of chips or baguette. We went with baguette and for the first time in my life, the dipping vessels were very scant compared to the amount of dip so if anyone orders this, I would recommend it with chips. Would not order again. Poutine fries: YUM! Definitely a shareable portion. Thin fries topped with yummy breaded cheese curds and piping hot gravy this was my favorite thing. The gravy was perfectly salted and I loved the breaded cheese curds. I do wish the fries were thicker, like a wedge cut but honestly these were insanely good. Will order again. Brussel sprouts: made with bacon which is always a must for that yummy flavor. Also drizzled with balsamic which is a win in my book. These were very tender and delicious but very oily or greasy which kind of gave me the ick but flavor was definitely there. Will not order again. We were seated immediately upon arriving and waters were brought out. Orders were taken quickly and food came out quick! However after the food came out, no one came to check on us, see how we were doing or clear plates. We were always having to flag someone down for refills, napkins and the check. It wasn't busy. The inside is clean, has a large bar area and outdoor seating. Also lots of TVs. I don't think I'll be returning, but I do recommend the poutine fries and pretzel bites. Things to note: Have to walk up stairs to enter. No private parking lot, have to street park and a lot of parking is metered. 9:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday - Saturday & free on Sundays / holidays.
