I would say overall the experience was fine but my friends and I were disappointed to find out they have basically stopped their happy hour, which was the main reason we would go. I had the nachos which looked better than they tasted because the cheese sauce was gritty and tasted a little old. My lemon drop martinis were good and our server was great though! She even split our checks for us which was awesome so I give her a 5 star!
4/25/26 This was my second time here and 1st time review . I forgot to do a review a while ago but still good ! So we were wanting some good big burgers and we came here . It was 3 of us and sat a nice large table. My son started off with some mozzarella sticks and dumplings and they were delicious. Good cheese pull on mozzarella sticks . I had a peach old fashioned which was very nice and smooth . Had the parlor burger and tots, it was massive but very good . Rani was our server and she was excellent and took good care of us . Wife and son had a burger as well the vintage burger and chefs burger . They enjoyed as well . All of food and service was great. Will be back again . Enjoy !!!!
I enjoy a place that gives me lunch or dinner menu items for breakfast. And I felt like having coconut shrimp and soup in the morning. I enjoyed it. The breakfast sandwich was great. Definitely a locals spot. Waitress was very nice and attentive.
Tonight we came here for a late night dinner. The restaurant has a warm welcoming feel. I told my wife it reminded me of hanging out in sometimes really cool basement. The lighting fixtures were fun and unique. There were tvs everywhere. Of course one was tuned to atmosphere and some bar trivia was playing. We started off dinner with some fried wontons. They were flavorful and cooked well. We ordered the French onion soup and the chef's burger with fries. The soup said on the menu it came with homemade croutons but instead it came with generic saltine crackers. Also it was made with red onion instead of yellow onion which was a ... choice. The burger, however, was perfect. The flavors were good, it was cooked exactly as ordered, medium rare. Our waitress was great. We absolutely loved her. Even though she was the only waitress there she was on her game. She was honest and professional and really had a great personality. Food came out in a timely fashion. The cocktails were delicious. The restaurant was clean and well taken care of. Overall we enjoyed our time here and if we happen to be passing through again we would stop here.
The Parlor was such a great experience. The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed, and the staff made us feel taken care of right away. Happy hour was amazing, great prices with big portions, which honestly made it even better. Everything we ordered came out fresh and tasted really good. This is definitely a place I'll be coming back to and recommending to friends.
Service was wonderful and the food was so delicious. Loved the atmosphere! We are so glad we came here we highly recommend it
For Valentine's dinner, we decided to avoid the crowd, and go out to dinner on Sunday. We originally were searching for Peking duck. It's a great Valentines dinner. But it seems Valentine's Day was just too busy as every place we called was either closed or out of it. So decided to come here have a cocktail and a nice steak dinner. This place was kind of busy on this Sunday evening, but we sat about 15 minutes before I could get the waitresses attention. She went to a table next to us, and I kinda was like... excuse me? She said she would be with us in a minute. Took her a while to come back and take our drink order. Pretty sure her name was Sadie. I let her know we knew what we wanted for dinner. She said she would be back in a few minutes. And then she proceeded to clean the table next to us... it's a bit strange. There are plenty of open tables, so not sure why she decided to make us wait for our food order... it would be understandable if there was no free tables. When I ordered the Mai Tai, she asked me if I had a back up cocktail because she didn't know if the bartender knew how to make a Mai Tai, I let her know it's what I drink here all the time and the bartender was definitely good at it.. waitress got a little defensive and said she just never had anyone order one before. So not our normal stellar visit to the parlor. It happens I guess What we ordered: Moscato wine Mai Tai Cowboy steak, medium rare with tater tots instead of mashed potatoes. My kids always order the Cowboy steak. It's a 29 ounce bone in ribeye beefy goodness . The waitress informed us they did not have vegetables tonight with the dinners. So she gave us an extra salad. That was fine. Salads came out almost immediately and they were fresh greens and one little grape tomato cut in half. Steak followed about 10 minutes. Steak was good, food is always good here.
We had dinner with a large party of friends. We had dinner, as Seahawks playing the Rams was on the TV. While we didn't go there to watch the game, the game raised the level of energy at the Parlor, just adding to the atmosphere. The Parlor is your classic Sports Bar dining fare with a few notable exceptions. One of our friends opened with "The Cowboy", a hand cut, bone-in 29 oz Ribeye Steak. Oh my! Beautifully prepared, this was one big steak. I snuck a taste. The steak was think, juicy and cooked to perfection. The taste was rich and tender. Oh yeah. I ordered "The Parlor" burger, an Angus Beef Patty, topped with delicious braised short ribs. The burger was amazing. So much meat. While the taste was great, I would say the short rib topper was a bit much (for me). The burger was served with "fries". The fries were more like thin potatoe wedges. Not my favorite. My wife had "The Vintage" Burger. A more traditional bacon cheese burger, served with onion rings. I preferred this over The Parlor. More traditional flavors and size. Just a great burger. My wife ordered the Tater Tots over the fries. A much smarter decision. The Tots were WAY better than the fries. Service was "all right". As you can expect the place was busy with the NFC Conference Finals on the TV, so not going to hold that against them. When we first got there, the place was more empty and the waitress was more available and definitely welcoming and friendly. The Parlor is a solid choice for classic Sports Bar fare. We will be definitely coming back to try a few more dishes.
This is a cool little spot with a great vibe. We were able to watch the game and enjoy our meal. We started with the calamari and it was good. The only minor complaint was the cocktail sauce was served with the dish and was more like a jello. I'd give it 3/5 stars. For the main dish I ordered the house salad and added grilled chicken. I think this option was very reasonably priced and tasted fresh. Also, their house balsamic vinaigrette was good. The grilled chicken was prepared well and not under or over cooked. 4/5 stars. Overall, a good experience with the servers attentive and helpful. Would return.
Wow!!! Wow! Wow!! I've never been here before but I'm coming back and I'm bringing family and friends!! The waitress was outstanding! She is friendly and personable! Fun and upbeat place to chill and enjoy some of the best food here in Reno! I live the low lights, very relaxing atmosphere and at the same time an energy boost. Definitely the best Fish And Chips I've had in the five years I've been here in Nevada. The lemon drop cocktail was not too sweet, not too tart-just right
Tried The Parlor for the first time this past week and really enjoyed it. We sat just to the right of the bar in these cute leather chairs, a total vibe. Our servers were super nice, and we made it in time for happy hour (always a win). My boyfriend loved the wings (he went with the dry rub), and we also ordered the short rib tacos, which were great. I was really in the mood for a burger, so we went with the Parlor Burger based on all the hype. For me, it needed a BBQ sauce. It leaned more pot roast than BBQ flavor. Still delicious and very clearly not a frozen patty (or at least I hope not), just not my style of burger, so I probably wouldn't order it again. That said, everyone we talked to swore it's the best one there, so if you're a brisket fan, definitely try it. Overall, great first visit and I'm excited to go back and try more.

The price point was spot on and I didn't feel too high for the amount and quality of food received. The greens were fresh and had dark green mixed in, croutons were warm and delicious, and the rest of the veggies were perfect. The interior is surprisingly really nice. I expected to walk into more of a dark bar setting. Definitely give this place a try!
Another fabulous meal! I've been going here for the past few years on an intermittent basis and have never had a bad experience. The service is always spot on, and the food is always delicious. The last time I was there, I had the short rib dinner. The ribs were served over over a bed of mashed potatoes w a mixed vegetable. The short ribs were extremely tender and the mashed potatoes were delicious. The vegetables were also cooked perfectly and quite tasty. Prior to dinner, I had a salad. They use "weed" lettuce for their salads, which isn't my favorite, but it is good for you so I eat it! I also had their bread pudding for dessert. It's one of the best in town in my opinion! As I said, the service is always top-notch, and the food is delicious. The portions are large and reasonably priced. I always leave with leftovers. There's not a lot of ambience because after all, it's truly a sports bar but the food and service make up for that.
After a long day out playing, we decided to have dinner at The Parlor. Not our first time and won't be the last. They have a very welcoming ambience. Food is always consistently good. For appetizers, we had wings and their beet salad. Wings were crispy good and the salad so fresh. We split an order of the Parlor burger with fries. They do a good job of splitting our order. Plenty of ranch on the side. Love ranch! For, dessert we had their Whistle pig bread pudding. My favorite. I can honestly say they have the best bread pudding in town. A must try. Our friend had an issue but it was unrelated to our current visit. Which was promptly addressed by the manager. Overall, we highly recommend The Parlor. Come in have a meal. We got here just in time for the lunch specials. I ordered the crispy buffalo sandwich with tater tots. It was fantastic. Two large (the biggest I've ever seen) white meat chicken tenders. Dipped in buffalo sauce with lettuce and tomato. Such a huge sandwich I gave one of the tenders to my DH and I still couldn't finish my tots. My DH order the brisket sandwich. He gave me half cause it was so big! I took it home and had it for dinner. It was delish!! The meat was so tender and just enough kick to truly make it memorable. He ordered an Arnold Palmer and the waitress kept it refilled. Service was excellent!! We will for sure be back here!! read more

I was looking for a place to grab a quick bite with my lady when we decided on the Parlor. Tucked away behind a large gas station car wash, this dimly lit restaurant is decorated with unique lighting and large TV screens to catch the game. We made it just in time for the last bit of Happy Hour, so we ordered a round of drinks, the short rib tacos, and the fish and chips. The fish has a great glass shattering crunch to it with a chipotle tartar sauce and the tacos were seasoned well and tender. The restaurant is a seat-yourself style and is affiliated with Flowing Tide - a bar chain I go to often, so it was nice to go to here for a familiar vibe. read more

We drove to Reno to meet some friends from out of state and as always I look to my fellow Yelpers to lead me in the right direction to find great local businesses and this was a hit with everyone!! We were greeted right away by Ronnie and found a great table to sit a visit and enjoy a great meal. She was so attentive and great with answering questions about the menu. She really knew what she was talking about, since she actually eats the food so she was able to tell you about it. There were five of us and I do admit we were visiting and having so much fun that I did fail my Yelp duty of taking great pictures of the food to show you, but I can let you know everything we got was delicious and large portions. We arrived around 5 PM so it was happy hour which was great. $2 off the drinks and appetizers, always a plus. I tried 2 of the specialty drinks that Ronnie had suggested and both were wonderful. The pomegranate lemon drop was very refreshing and hit the spot. We chose fried pickles, wings, and mozzarella sticks as appetizers. I'm a sucker for fried pickles and these ones were huge wedges and super crispy and came with a nice spicy sauce and also a plain ranch. The guys ordered burgers and the parlor burger was a big hit for sure. I opted for the street taco appetizer as my meal since I saw their burgers and knew I would not have room for one of them, they are huge! We ate, drank and laughed for hours and Ronnie took care of us checking on us often, refilling waters and taking additional orders for drinks and making sure we had all we needed. Later in the evening, we found out it was actually her birthday and what looked like a bunch of regulars or friends announced it and had everybody sing happy birthday to her! Super fun. The food was awesome but what made this place the best was the service we received from Ronnie. The staff was top notch. We will be back for sure. read more

I was down in Reno visiting friends and I wanted to get some fish and chips. I notice Reno has no dedicated fish amd chips restaurants like we have in the Sac Valley. Yelping I came across the Parlor restaurant that was supposed to have great fish and chips, so off we go. It was a little slow at lunch in here. It's a typical Nevada sports bar with poker machines set in the bar. There was one server on duty and she took awhile to go to our table and give us menus. I notice this Parlor is owned by the same company that owns Flowing Tide and I've had great service and fish and chips there before, so I was hoping for the same here. When the server did manage to make it to us, she wasn't as cheery and friendly as the servers over at the Flow Tide. We ordered the fish and chips, the clam chowder and the potato wedges appetizer. We did seem to wait awhile. My friend's clam chowder arrived first. Her first reaction was "where's the clams?" We looked and there were just 2 lousy pieces of clam in there, some potato and soup. This was more like just potato soup! We should have sent it back but she didn't wanna make a fuss. Then we waited for the fish and chips and potato wedges (loaded potatoes I think it was called). My fish and chips arrived. It was 4 smallish pieces served on top of some weirdly cut fries. The fish was not cooked right or something, it was tough and more chewy than fish ought to be, at least compared to their sister restaurant, Flow Tide. The fries were OK, though. I'd never order Fish and Chips here again. The potato wedges really could have used more toppings, but I guess were just passable, could have been better. Again the service was aloof and slow, to get the bill and get the hell outta here. I was so hoping for a much better food and service experience, since I saw it was the same owners as Flowing Tide and I love the food and service there. Pass on this joint in the future! read more

Found a new place to hang out and have good food. And the kitchen is open all night! On the pricey side but the food is good. Service is also excellent. I love that their choice of appetizers are not found at any regular bar like the calamari or coconut shrimp. One can actually get full with just the appetizers alone. The husband recently ordered that 29 oz Cowboy Steak and it was huge and pretty hefty in price at $57. Bit all in all the experience has always been positive every time we go there. read more

If you are following, you already know this is/was Happy Hour Week for my wife and I! Quality/Quantity - Almost as good as their "sister" location, Flowing Tide Pub. Came here for dinner, but ended up filling up with just their happy hour. They gave generous portions just like their affiliated restaurants. Happy hour is 7 days a week from 3pm to 6pm, 10pm to 1am, and 6am to 10am. Chicken Nachos - My wife craved this. I know, it caught me by surprise. I expected her to get a salad. Wings - Dry rub, made perfectly. Generous size and portions. Nice and meaty. Revision IPA - To wash it all down, support local. :) Atmosphere - Smaller location versus their affiliated restaurants. But more intimate. Seemed like all the regulars knew each other...? I actually liked the atmosphere better. Is this supposed to attract a slightly more upscale crowd rather than Flowing Tide...? Plenty of mall parking. Open 24 hours. Service - 5 stars, Marysa was perfect. Professional, checked on us often, suggestively sold, etc. Price - $27 + generous tip. Inexpensive. Owner Comment - Congrats on all your success with your 9+ locations including your affiliated restaurants. Now I only need to visit your Sasquatch location in Verdi. Oh also, I look forward to your two new locations opening in Sparks. read more

This was a really nice place to have a casual dinner. It has that cozy bar and grill ambiance with a good size bar that also offers gaming. It was self-seating, but we were quickly greeted at the table by our server. My husband and I decided to share a Mediterranean Chicken Sandwhich and BBQ Chicken Philly Sandwhich. Both sandwhiches were really good, but that Chipotle Aioli sauce in the BBQ Chicken Philly was next level. I'm not sure if it was the nice ambiance with the dim lighting, the excellent service or just two really good choices for our dinner, but we really enjoyed our dinner. read more
This will always be a special place for me. I had met up with someone that was at the parlor and so I observed that compared to the last time I had been here (years ago) on a Friday, it was so much more chill. The bar area was packed but the outer seatings were open and available. Our server, was so sweet and attentive, and I love how after our bill he stated that the seats were ours "for as long as you like." I ordered a pink type drink which was great, except it looked to be half full we asked the waiter who explained that he doesn't always work but could look to add in more mixing to which I stated it was okay. My friend ordered some type of a whiskey drink to which was good and strong. I did enjoy the drink and ambiance. We were well taken care of up until we left and so I think that was what would keep me coming back. read more

Came in today for a work brainstorming session and it was choose your own seat. We grabbed a high top and were promptly helped with drinks and menus. Drinks were continuously topped off throughout the meal and we were never left wanting a sip. Our food took a bit of time to come out but it was the lunch rush. My sandwich was a little salty but that's my preference. It was hot and the onion rings were crispy! The restaurant itself is cute with a sunken bar and a more cocktail style seating arrangement coupled with booths and high top tables. Plenty of large tvs to watch games! Their drink menu looked nice and I would be happy to stop by again to try a couple cocktails. read more
Came to the parlor for the first time to celebrate buying a house! We wanted a bar type feel, but a little more upscale and the parlor was a perfect fit. We had never been before but have heard great things. I ordered the bbq chicken phillycheesesteak. I have never thought to put bbq sauce into a Philly cheese steak, but omg what a vibe. It was so good! My husband got a burger and also liked. We loved the fries. The restaurant is really nice and clean. Ambiance is great. However there is no where comfortable to sit with a baby. We brought our 15 month old who is too big to stay in a car seat but not big enough to sit at a table. Unfortunately most of the tables are so tall you can't use a high chair. The other option was to sit in the lounge area but it's so low it looked hard to eat at as the tables are lower than the chairs. It was also expensive compared to the service. The food and ambiance were reflected well in the price but our service unfortunately made me think I was at a bulleys.
