    Busy night

Come to Happy Hour! The food is great and the place is always busy. The ambiance is pleasant and well lit. Come esrly they open promptly at 4:00 pm. We always get the clams, sliders, and calimari. Check it out.

The most popular happy hour in town continues its streak by offering upscale food and cocktails at a reasonable price. I was a big fan of the wild mushroom pizza, the earthy goodness of the mushrooms on melted cheese is a winner for me every time. The calamari was perfectly crisp and chewy, and the sauce they serve with it is heavenly. We ordered a round (or two) of specialty cocktails to try: - Lavender Lemonade Martini - this was my favorite, perfect balance of sweet and tart. - Cotton Candy Martini - this was the prettiest and most fun to experience as it's served with a side of actual cotton candy that you stir into the drink. The kid in you will enjoy this very much! - Rose Martini - very solid and well-balanced flavors, it has a light and sweet rose flavor without being overwhelmingly floral.

I had heard that Napa Bistro had a good happy hour, but it wasn't until I finally went that I understood why people raved about it. We went on a Friday so it was busy from he get go and we had to wait about and hour for the first wave to start heading out. In the meantime we went to the bar and ordered drink and my experience started string here. I ordered a Samurai Sour and this is now one of my favorite drinks. There was four of us so when we were seated we decided to go a little crazy and ordered a ton of different things. You can see everything I ordered in my pictures but want to callout my top dishes, which is hard because everything was so good! But if I had to choose some as my fave for sure the Asian Ribs, Sliders, and Oysters were up there. The service was great. The bartender and servers were all great and made sure they would clean out used dishes to make room for all the food that came coming. And of course I ordered a couple more Samurai Sours. I would come back here just for the Samurai Sours but it also has great food so just worth it all around, and well priced at half off during happy hour!

Best happy hour in town. Strong drinks and a good variety of dishes to choose from on the happy hour menu. First come first serve seating for happy hour

Just made it for happy hour- don't need the sliders

2/12/26- Lucky day today, was able to get seated at the bar in front of the lead Chef Robert.. Very friendly and a funny sense of humor- First time trying steamed clams...no sand and really good.. Had to get the crispy calamari- sexy fries and the meatballs.. All were terrific!

My hubby and I returned to celebrate his birthday and Valentine's for dinner. Great service again! Our server actually recognized us from our last visit which was about a year ago! He was super polite and always great about checking on us throughout our meal. Bummed, but understandable being the day after Valentines, that they had run out of several menu items like their sea bass (my favorite), eggplant dish, and oysters. Also another observation and a little disappointing is that they haven't updated or changed their main menu from a year ago. Enjoyed the prime rib, mushroom flatbread, calamari, and seared tuna. The complimentary birthday strawberry shortcake and cotton candy was the perfect way to end our dinner celebration.

As delicious as I remember! The last time we dined here was a few years ago, also with a group. Seamless reservation and great service (thanks Bryan!) Our servers were prompt and well-informed - no complaints whatsoever on that front! The Faroe Islands Salmon was excellently seared, and the butternut squash puree paired oh so well with the pecans and pickled cranberries! For apps, you must try the grilled artichoke - silken mouthfeel bathed in savory aioli. Definitely on my "when in town" list!

If you've been looking for an amazing happy hour menu in Reno, definitely check out Bistro Napa within the Atlantis Casino and Resort! My BF took me here for their happy hour, which runs from 4-6 PM and includes 50% off their menu! We ordered 7 dishes and 4 cocktails, which came out to only a little over $100 (originally a $200+ meal). Every dish was meticulously prepared from high quality ingredients, although some were a bit too savory for my personal liking, with my favorites being the ravioli and steamed clams. The cocktails were VERY well crafted, and we really appreciated how our very friendly and personable waiter gave us great recommendations that were very tailored to our personal preferences. The tables were a bit small, but the service was very kind and attentive, and quickly cleared plates once we finished so that the table was never overcrowded. We LOVE their happy hour. The jalamango is my favorite cocktail in town. Right now i'm loving their butternut squash and pumpkin ravioli on happy hour. I've been here many times and received the best service I've ever had here from Saphire & West. Saphire went above and beyond to recommend drinks and truly made me feel cared about & West went above and beyond with his service to truly give me what I was asking for, hands down the best bartenders! I'll be back to see them!

Crab cakes, wild mushroom flat bread and lobster mac

Jessie and charlie were amazing. We ordered the crab cakes, wild mushroom flat bread, lobster mac and short ribs. Everything was delightful. Service is always a 10/10 and the vibes are wonderful. Will definitely be back

We usually go hear for Happy Hour from 4 to 6 pm when it is always crowded. But if you go for dinner, it is still worth it. The food is good, and the service is top notch. It's kinda good to try both happy/social hour and the regular dining to compare and contrast, but they are both good experiences.

    False advertisement of food quality
    Vee R.

Came in excited to try the prix fixe special for Reno Food Week. Pictures show what was advertised vs what we received. We left fairly disappointed. First course of Scottish eggs: eggs were cooked unevenly, some parts medium boiled and some extra hard. Heavy on the side salad dressing. Second course: duck breast was heavily overcooked, resulting in a high iron taste resembling chicken liver. Meat was very tough. Sauce for duck was extremely sweet. Side salad was heavily under seasoned. Third course: desert samplers. These were okay. I'd say it prioritized sweetness over quality. The samplers remind me of the kind of deserts you'd see at a lower-end buffet. Server was nice but very slow to take our order, despite the lack of a crowd. Restaurant comped part of our meal since the duck was unacceptable. While they handled the matter professionally, this shouldn't have been on the menu in the first place. I cannot stress enough how much I discourage visiting this restaurant.

This is THE spot for an excellent Happy Hour in Reno. Located on the 2nd story of the Atlantis Casino in downtown. It opens at 4:00pm M-Thurs. We went early (3:15pm) this past Wednesday and I brought a chair. Everything on the menu was half price. My recommendations include the sexy fries, BBQ Korean style ribs and grilled artichokes. Picture of bill attached. I also recommend dressing up a bit as it is a nice restaurant environment with great service. I pretty much always order the same thing.

Social Hour is only at the bar area or for the whole restaurant during the social hour?

From what we've seen, it's only in the bar area.

Do they offer take-out? Or is it reservation only?

    Is it kid friendly?

No, it's a basically a bar with great small plate appetizers.

Does bistro NAPA have a happy hour now because of the Covid?

Yes - a maximum of 4 people per table.

It says vegan options on here. What are they? The spaghetti squash dish?

I think the butternut squash and pumpkin raviolis. Artichoke appetizer, salads obviously, and probably their sexy fries.

What really stands out is how intentional everything feels, especially the wine list. It is handwritten on a large chalkboard, which gives it a relaxed, neighborhood vibe, but the selection is thoughtful and globally inspired. You will find a mix of Old World staples and boutique producers alongside well-chosen California options. The list includes everything from crisp Picpoul and Bordeaux Blanc blends to approachable Pinot Noir, Malbec, and Cabernet Sauvignon, along with more unique offerings like Loire Valley blends and Spanish varietals that show they are not just playing it safe. The pricing is another highlight. Most glasses land in the $9 to $15 range, which feels more than fair for the quality. They even offer a carafe option, about two and a half glasses, which is perfect for sharing and encourages you to settle in and enjoy the experience rather than rush through it. The atmosphere is exactly what you want in a wine bar. It is relaxed, conversational, and effortlessly refined. It is the kind of place where you can catch up with friends, go on a date, or simply unwind and end up staying longer than you planned. What truly made our visit exceptional was our server, Kate. She went above and beyond in every way. She was attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the wines, and genuinely warm in her approach. She made thoughtful recommendations, checked in at the right moments, and created an experience that felt personal rather than transactional. It is clear she cares about what she does, and it made a great environment feel even better. Black Rock Wine Co is not trying too hard, and that is exactly why it works. It is curated, welcoming, and just the right level of elevated. We will absolutely be back.

We all walked out in silence, aghast at his terrible manners and words. All that to say, diner beware. This man undid a wonderful evening with a few sharp words and extremely awful service and poor manners. Realizing that had he said it nicely, we would've popped right up. We were already ready to go. And that treating your customers -who just spent a few hundred dollars with you - with respect and warmth versus treating them with contempt and rudeness. We will not be back. Not that he cares, but if you're looking for a place to have a leisurely fine meal over the course of a couple hours, this isn't it.

Whenever we travel we love to stop in at the Timber Ridge to have a couple pre-cocktails prior to…read moreour flight!!! We absolutely love the Breakfast Burrito- it's perfect for sharing! It's one of the best breakfast burrito's in town, it's the airport so you have to live with double the price even if you're in Reno! We always sit at the bar in our same bar seats to watch the planes leave and the sunrise for an early flight! It's the only way to get my husband here early! A double screwdriver with Tito's is $18.99 so be prepared to pay for a couple drinks for 2 and a Breakfast Burrito is around $106 and then the tip! I don't mind, I rather get here early and relax prior to my flight than stand in long lines.

My wife and I ate here for lunch while we waited to board our flight to Las Vegas. The service was…read moreso-so. The host who sat us didn't appear to want to be there and his personality and candor reflected that. Our waitress was better, but not by a whole lot. I ordered one of their featured cocktails and as you can see in the photo, the presentation compared to how it's photographed in their marketing is fairly sad. It was tasty, though. So there's that. The food was much like the service. It was just ok. I ordered the "spicy" pasta dish with grilled chicken added. Flavor was pretty flat on both the pasta and chicken, and there wasn't much spice to speak of. My wife's club sandwich was decent...leaving the fries as the stand out between the two meals. My opinion, the food and service doesn't match the cost. This was a $100 meal. Yes, it's in an airport so you can expect inflated pricing. However, I don't feel it's worth the price. Ambiance is nice, though. Definitely would be a good spot to catch a pre-flight drink or two.
