We chose the chicken fingers, the quesadilla with chicken, and the potato skins. Everything came out nice and hot. The chicken strips were not dried out. The quesadilla had a load of stuff besides the chicken; it has black beans, avocado, and cheese. The potato skins were wonderful! I'm so sad I didn't get pictures before we ate, but we dug right in. And prices are on par with most other bars in town. Service here has been quite good. Friendly in the extreme, and relatively prompt. Though if there are big, crowded events (such as a game being on), you may have a little slowdown. Plus, the vibes here are just fantastic. The location also cannot be beat, as it is ell placed to enjoy the riverfront and explore more of the area. Though parking may be a bit tight, depending on where you park and what day or time it is. There is also no food options here, but there are plenty of restaurants within a 5-minute walk. All in all, I am glad some of the energy I remember is still here. I will have to come back during MLS or Premier League matches to see how things stand. And with a soccer team HOPEFULLY returning to Reno, I definitely hope we can get the local supporters groups to return here, as well. Definitely a libation spot not to be missed. Cheers!

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I used to love this little dive bar, its right across the street from my apartment and almost never busy. Last night, I went with a friend who requires a service dog with the intention to have a few drinks and shoot some pool. This service dog has been in the bar many times, and his California service tag is always available upon request. Some Karen at the bar (haircut and everything) had the audacity to complain about a SERVICE DOG who was sitting in the corner watching his owner and doing his job. The Bartender violated several ADA restrictions in her questioning about the Service dog, even after his tag was presented, and ignored all of our requests that she please look at the official ADA requirements before refusing service and throwing us out of the bar. I have never seen more despicable behavior in my life from any establishment. This dog is trained, well behaved, and important to my friend's well-being. To ignore the ADA in order to appease a customer who was not in anyway effected by the presence of a dog is just disgusting. I will likely never drink here again, and if you have a service dog or in general support people protected by ADA I would highly recommend that you do not go here either. We will be taking our business to The Elbow Room and other similarly ADA compliant businesses going forward. read more

Great local bar! Clean, friendly and fun! I recently joined a Reno City Pool League and am in the process of visiting and playing at many new local establishments here in the Reno/Sparks area. Was made to feel extremely welcome as soon as I arrived by the Bartender Khesandra. Besides making an awesome Bloody Mary, she also impressed by introducing me to some of the regulars (cool folks!), played an awesome yet very eclectic Jukebox based on the clientele at the bar (Rock, Oldies, Country, Pop, Blues, etc.). On top of all that she took me on before my teammates showed and proceeded to promptly kick my ass in a best of three 8 Ball match. All in all a very enjoyable time! I will be back for a rematch!!! While bar may not be a newcomer to the scene, it's definitely new to me, and I'm so glad I discovered it. This local dive bar has a welcoming atmosphere that's perfect for unwinding. He'd started coming here as a near scratch golfer when Masters was apparently the place to be after hitting the links. He shared with me how he'd really like to see it go back to that, but for now it's a quiet bar that's trying to find it's place again. Surprisingly there's a really decent beer selection (mostly bottled), and though I wouldn't expect any craft cocktails, based on the GIANT glasses of wine being poured for the older patron next to me, I'm sure you can count on a stiff drink at this place. This is one of the bars that originated NBT (New Bar Tuesday), and I'm really glad I made the decision to check it out.
