Awesome staff and fun atmosphere. Pauli, Paige, Good joke Dan, Ily, andCassie are all amazing! No food but Pizza , sandwiches and Mexican joints all nearby in the Pavillion. Fun gaming bar with smoking and pool tables and a juke box.

We enjoyed our first visit to Reno bar and Grill. The menu…read morehas quite a few Cajun options, which is something new and different you don't see everyday in Reno.. I ordered the steak fritters, which was a wonderfully seasoned New York I believe with chimichurri that was cooked to perfection and melted in your mouth along with the crispy fresh home fries - this dish was a win. I would order again and again, and my husband said he would go back for after tasting. My husband got the jambalaya, which was a combination of chicken, shrimp and andouille sausage that was flavored perfectly and that he really enjoyed particularly the sausage that was used in the dish. We also saw some wonderful looking pizzas coming out of the oven and burgers that we would try on a next visit - but the steak will be hard to turn down. They were busy this night with a lot of people coming in and we had to wait a bit for a table, but the service did the best to keep up that they could. The bar area was rustic and had a great menu and vibe - I would've even enjoyed eating at the bar, but we opted for a table. We wanted to save room for their homemade ice cream, but we will have to try this next time.

Joseph was our server, and he did an excellent job helping me navigate my gluten allergy. He was knowledgeable about the menu and made the ordering process easy. I had the Reno Burger and loved the melted cheese served alongside it--it was such a fun touch. We also ordered the meatballs, and they were outstanding. They were packed with flavor, and the portion size was just right. Between the great service, delicious food, and comfortable atmosphere, we'll definitely be back.

What happened to the theme days? And the hiring standards?…read more I used to frequent Twin Peaks weekly for a multitude of reasons - the wings are the best from a sports bar in Reno, the ICE cold beer, Whisky selection, the great service, and - of course - the atmosphere, but have minimized going to maybe once a month. TP Reno started off great. A great sports bar experience found in any of their locations, nationwide. Now? The food quality is a roller coaster. Gone are the theme days/weekends outside of the way overdone cowboy/rodeo Fridays. Gone are the hiring standards - yes, corporate has standards set. If it were not for some (definitely not all) of the great servers/bar tenders - Danica, Willow, Lucci, Brooke and a couple of others - along with the ice cold beer, and all the TVs, TP Reno would be just another average sports bar... The owners need to step it back up, or this will be just another failed restaurant due to poor leadership.

Those girls must wear, if you call it, underwear or lingerie. Shane is the manager, a really nice, down-to-earth kind of guy. He runs a tight ship and knows his business like the back of his hand. The food is pretty good, affordable, and tasty. If a big game or sports event is scheduled to be televised, you won't be able to get near the place. So be prepared. Otherwise, the place is huge with plenty of seats. The food is always consistent, with many items from scratch. My suggestion is to give it a try. Whether by yourself or with a bunch of friends over some beers. Oh, by the way, it's got a huge bar surrounded by T.V.'s to kick back and watch your favorite event. Give it a try. You just might like the place.

It was such a beautiful day.... where can we eat outside?…read more I found "The Spot", its in the old Smee's location on the river. When we showed up, we asked if we could sit at a table outside, the guy was a little overwhelmed, he said "I can sit you in 10 mins". I said "can we have this table". OK, but....just know I'll be with you as soon as I get caught up, I'm totally fine with that I said. . He bought us a couple menus to look over. Then a table on the railing with shade opened up, I didn't care about the table was dirty with dishes, so we decided to move. I love to look at the river and watch the people go by. The server said, I'll be over soon! He was never so happy when Sierra showed up to help him out. He came over to our table I said "I hope you don't mind, I moved to be in the shade, I know I'm one of those pain in the ass customers". Then he started joking with me and it was the perfect ice breaker. My server and part owner's name is Casey! He is an awesome guy and such a hard worker to ensure his customers are taken care of. I love that. We had a couple beers, he has quite the selection of beers on tap, he supports the community breweries such as Lead Dog and Revisions. My husband had the breakfast burrito $13, it was huge with homemade tortilla chips with salad and guacamole. I had the fish and chips. You get three large pieces of fish, fries and yummy coleslaw. I love how they put the tater sauce and ketchups in personal cups for you that shows class. My fish was absolutely delicious better than the old Smees and especially the new location. You get a nice meal for $20. They have indoor, outdoor, bar seating. They have a little merch area and a gaming bar if you feel lucky. I know the Open Championship Bowlers are in town, if you're looking for nice comfort food "tavern style" location this is the place for you on the Reno Riverwalk 50 N Sierra. It upstairs.

After some searching The Spot is what caught our eye. Located by the river and where Reef and Smees used to be. including what you ordered or used, Since this was a new spot we decided to just order and share a ton of appetizers. This included: cup of cream of mushroom soup, pretzel bites, spinach dip, poutine fries and Brussel sprouts. 2/5 were a huge hit where the orders we would not try again. Cup of mushroom soup: cup size is a good appetizer portion, good mushroom taste but WAY too salty. Would not order again. Pretzel bites: SUPER YUM! Slightly crunchy at the corners and fluffy inside. Perfectly bite sized and great dips (cheese and mustard). Loved these and would absolutely order again. Spinach dip: not a fan. The one thing I did like about this is that the dip portion was extremely generous, but I was not a fan of the taste. For me it was like slightly watered down sour cream. You have the options of chips or baguette. We went with baguette and for the first time in my life, the dipping vessels were very scant compared to the amount of dip so if anyone orders this, I would recommend it with chips. Would not order again. Poutine fries: YUM! Definitely a shareable portion. Thin fries topped with yummy breaded cheese curds and piping hot gravy this was my favorite thing. The gravy was perfectly salted and I loved the breaded cheese curds. I do wish the fries were thicker, like a wedge cut but honestly these were insanely good. Will order again. Brussel sprouts: made with bacon which is always a must for that yummy flavor. Also drizzled with balsamic which is a win in my book. These were very tender and delicious but very oily or greasy which kind of gave me the ick but flavor was definitely there. Will not order again. We were seated immediately upon arriving and waters were brought out. Orders were taken quickly and food came out quick! However after the food came out, no one came to check on us, see how we were doing or clear plates. We were always having to flag someone down for refills, napkins and the check. It wasn't busy. The inside is clean, has a large bar area and outdoor seating. Also lots of TVs. I don't think I'll be returning, but I do recommend the poutine fries and pretzel bites. Things to note: Have to walk up stairs to enter. No private parking lot, have to street park and a lot of parking is metered. 9:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday - Saturday & free on Sundays / holidays.

I had two rum and Diet Cokes for just $5, and my husband enjoyed two domestic beers for a total of $9. You really can't beat those happy hour prices! I ordered the Happy Hour Crispy Chicken Caesar Salad, and it was delicious. The chicken was crispy, the lettuce was fresh, and it made for a satisfying meal. My husband ordered the boneless Buffalo chicken tenders. The flavor was really good, but he wished they had been a little crispier. Even so, they were still enjoyable and paired well with our drinks. Overall, we had a great happy hour experience thanks to the friendly bartender, good food, and excellent drink specials. We'll definitely be back.

Before we had our order taken, someone came in to say that a man was having a heart attack in his car outside. The staff jumped into action and made sure that the man was helped as much as they could help him while waiting for the ambulance. One of the employees stayed with the man the whole time. Yay for her! We honestly didn't expect them to take our order as quickly as they did during this chaotic time and totally understood. I ordered the shrimp tacos from the secret menu so be sure to check that out. My husband had the shrimp and chips. I don't remember the actual names of the dishes because it's been a couple weeks, but I do have pictures! The food was amazing, the service was amazing, and definitely worth checking out.
