The owners have spent a lot of time, money and care upgrading the outdoor space and making the whole experience super fun. An obvious stop is you're heading to downtown Reno.

So if you like the Smokiness of a dive bar, going home smelling like an ashtray, and hanging with older cool people is your thing than you're home here. I think there's better choices within walking distance. It would be nice if the owner didn't respond with a snarky comment and maybe took constructive criticism, fix your exhaust system and I would happily give you a 4 rating for an authentic dive bar. As you can tell by the owners response they don't care and not going to change. Staff are friendly, and at least the one bartender isn't asleep behind the bar (maybe they switched him out or I came on a day he wasn't there). I'll give it a 2 star rating because it looks like they're cleaning up and painting a bit, but it really should be a one. EP Listening Lounge is clean 1 block away Ryan's is a dive bar, a bit clampish for my taste but whatever Vassar Lounge has lots of parking and pool tables, but more than walking distance I think there's a new scene happening off 6th street or is that 4th, new changes down there. Z bar All of Midtown Etc...

On multiple occasions, we've sat at the bar for 30-45 minutes with a sparse crowd, not asked once if we'd like a drink. When it's busy, I can understand waiting. Bartenders work hard and we prefer to tip in recognition of that. However, of all the bars we visited today, this was the only one we had to get pushy at for drinks. I don't want to have to shout at my bartender for their attention after I've been sitting to get a drink when literally no one else is ordering. I've spent months/years going to this place religiously. I likely won't be back. Please get your service to where it used to be. Not all your bartenders are this way. Their personal distaste for me (apparently) shouldn't be the reason you lose business. I used to talk this place up. Recommendations won't be coming from me anymore.

For entrees, there were Cobb salads (Romaine, iceberg, spring mix, crumbled bleu cheese, cherry tomatoes, corn, bacon, eggs, pickled red onions, cucumber, green goddess dressing) but with bacon on the side and extra dressing on the side as well. We also ordered a kid's cheeseburger, and a Paddy Melt (Smashed beef burger, Guinness-braised onions with cheddar and American cheese, bacon, Burger-zing sauce on garlic, grilled sourdough). There were other dishes, but these are the ones with photos! The food came quickly and was nice and hot. Except the salads. The onion rings are always well fried, crisp and not oily. The combo platter is also a favorite, and the calamari went fast as well. The salads are fresh, colorful, with textures and tastes that really come together, and the Green Goddess is a perfect choice. The Paddy Melt was cooked perfectly, and nicely presented, and the kid's burger (1/2) was just the right size for a 10-year-old. All things considered, it was a great meal, and once we got the order in, the service was attentive and professional. Looking forward to a return visit here.
