My husband and I come here often. We've never had a bad experience and we've met several bartenders. My husband was over the moon to see they now have his favorite Space Dust IPA on tap (I may never get him home again). I was delighted by the cute bear cup my Honey Bear drink came in. It tasted delicious but I think it tasted better because of the cup. RPM had a miss NV event going on so we had a blast sitting at the bar, eating, and watching the cute costume show. We love Honey Bar. Plus they always have the right baseball game on the TV!
Came here in the evening for a quick drink to show my friend what the Reno Public Market is all about. They have a full bar, beers on tap and also seasonal drinks! The bar can get fairly busy and it can take a minute to get your drinks. If you come here on the weekend, just be patient. I like how casual this bar is and the convenience of having it in the middle of all the restaurants works great !
The bar was clean and inviting. Unfortunately, the bartender wasn't as attentive as she could have be (she was busy flirting with one of the customers). There were only 5 costumers (including myself) at the bar and it took me slightly over 10 minutes and me (with the help of 2 other customers) yelling "excuse me ma'am" to get my 1st drink. In my time at Honey Bar I tried 3 drinks: Eye Roll, Blood Orange 75, and the Basic Boo. The Eye Roll was as delicious as it was decorative. It was well balanced and was complex in flavors. The Blood Orange 75 was good but had a bit too much lemon that overpowered the drink. The Basic Boo was one note and was nothing special (other than the novelty cup, of course). I look forward to seeing what the Christmas cocktail lineup is.
Always friendly service and ability to bring food to the bar, from the many options around you. Music can be a bit loud but you can still carry on a conversation.
The Honey Bar does not disappoint! This is starting to be my new favorite bar. I've visited the honey bar twice and I'm just blown away with the quality of the drinks, creativity, awesome service and good vibes. My first visit was in January with a few friends. It was dry January for some so we all enjoyed mocktails. Talk about flavors on flavors with a pop of color. I'd love to share what the name of the drinks were but I believe they were created on the spot by the bar manager ILONA. She had great energy, spectacular customer service, and knew just what to do with creating those drinks according to our flavor choices! My second visit was a weekend ago when we celebrated a friend's birthday. What was supposed to be a quick stopp turned into hours of fun. Our bartender for the day was Zach aka the cutie at the bar and he was great also. I got the Honey Bear a drink made just for my taste buds and my friend got the Latin Lover. My drink came served in a cute honey bear bottle and tastes just like a green tea shot with peach juice. Dangerous! The Latin Lover drink has a vibrant fuchsia color and my friend said it was really good being that it was a frozen cocktail and she's usually a tequila girl. Not to toot our own horn, BEEP BEEP, but we did bring the vibes during our visit! It was nothing but laughs and good energy while being at the honey bar and a great addition to the birthday festivities for the day. Can't wait for my next visit! Keep up the good work team!
Always stop and try some cocktails at Honey Bar when visiting public market. Visited on a Weds evening and whole market was very low key. I enjoyed the chill vibes of less crowds. Our bartender was great but I was a bit disappointed that my honey bear did not come in the bear (they were waiting on order) and that my Say Less was missing the mint (they also did not have on hand that night). Overall the drinks were still delicious, service was awesome and we will visit again!
Fun place to come for drinks. Come often with husband to hang out and listen to music. My girls often come with us often also. The bartenders are great at creating a drink if you just give them an ingredient or idea of something you are thinking.
Went before the Grand Opening on a Sunday because we wanted to catch them before they were crazy busy. And we lucked out. The crazy wasn't there yet and we were able to catch a football game while seated at the bar. Training was still being done as they roll out the classics and the new drinks, This bar will be a great place to come for a whole variety of people. Many taps, many drinks, many TV's and many many many many food options to be had. I loved the Honey I and even more so the Chespirito. From the little glimpse I got of the upcoming menu, the cocktail program is going to be on point. RPM has an excellent bar in Honey Bar. I can see this becoming the gathering place it was meant to be.
Our bartender was great! We enjoyed some cocktails "Say Less" and "Chesperito" beautifully hand crafted and delicious. You can order food by one of the vendors and enjoy it at the bar. Ask for Brooke she is a great mixologist. Bar area is well laid out and clean.
Love coming here, great drinks, great service. Always something happening at Reno Public Market.
We ordered a Manhattan Up and this is what we got. 4 cherries on the rocks....don't waste your time or money on this bar. There is NO STANDARD and the bar is so low. After we paid for our drink, the bartender with shaved side burns never checked on us again and we tipped him $5 bucks for a messed up drink. Fail!!!!
Really cute drink in a honey bear bottle! Nice spacious food court/ warehouse atmosphere too at the Reno public market
This is a great spot to meet up with friends and have a few cocktails. The bartenders are very attentive and make you feel welcomed. Prices for drinks are decent. Definitely have to try the Busy Bee cocktail!
Located in the middle of the Reno Public Market this bright, radiant and vibrant bar serves a little something for everyone. Quick, friendly service at a bar is always good! I looked this place up to try and ordered the michelada switching from my original that I was gonna order the Bloody Mary. Got it with Estrella beer it did not disappoint! Cheers !!! read more
My friends and I like to meet at the Honey bar due to their cocktails. They are always rotating the menu seasonally, which makes for nice variety and fun to try new things. We also like the ability to have drinks together and be able to grab different kinds of food. Bartenders are great at recommending the different drinks. Service is good overall. There are times when it is slower if there is only one person. The holiday drink menu is what first got us coming back to the bar. Currently, they have a gin based drink in a mason jar Christmas tree. Love the presentation and it is light and refreshing. read more
The bar had a lot of variety as far as drinks, but the service was pretty lackluster. I had to flag down not one, but two servers to take me and my friends order. It was a pretty busy night, but the bartenders were running around and throwing glass into a trashcan every five minutes which created a very loud noise, which I don't think is appealing to people sitting at the bar. read more

After following them on instagram, I saw a featured drink that was called the Honey Bear and was served in a honey bear container. I knew on my next stop I would have to make it a point to try one. Making plans to come out again to try a new food place I first stopped here. The bar area was completely full, then again it was Friday around 6:00 p.m. peak time I would imagine. I saw one of the staff and asked to order a Honey Bear, and the staff was nice enough to say, "I would love to make you a drink, but I'll have the bartender make you one" haha, he was super nice about it. Within a couple of minutes I was handed the honey bear drink, although it was served in a tall glass. A big appeal was the picture presented in their social media. The bartender was so slammed I didn't want to stall her by asking. But the drink itself was perfect and I see myself ordering more in the future. Hopefully I can come during a less busy time to ask if it's ever served in the Honey Bear container. read more
This bar is at the center of the Reno Public Market which is the perfect location. You can order at the bar and take your drink to a nearby table or eat at the bar itself. They have a nice cocktail list (my daughter loved the lemon drop) and a good selection of local beers. Service was very prompt and friendly. A great addition at the heart of the Market. read more

A fun gathering spot in the middle of the new Reno Public Market! As soon as the training all gets done and the cups and everything get organized this should be a smooth working bar with great cocktails. While we waited, the bartender was super helpful and friendly and they clearly had a great time working together. Can't wait to try again soon! read more

When you give this bartender the option to make what she would drink herself she will not fail you. She may not be a ten year bartender, but this drink will have you thinking otherwise. Killed it girl! Also this place is pretty decent, tvs for sports and cold drinks to go with it. Staff are super friendly and work hard to achieve great customer service. read more

Stopped into the Public Market to check things out and have a drink. Honey Bar is located right in the center of the market, with a full circle of bar seats and TVs on both sides. It's pretty loud inside as everything is open, but it would be a great place to watch a game or hang out if you're not looking for somewhere too quiet. It looked like there were only two bartenders and it was fairly busy, so I waited 10-15 minutes to order, but the drink was fantastic and the bartender was nice. Their cocktail menu was great plus they had a full bar. read more
First time at the Honey Bar today. This place has potential. The drink selection was just ok. My drink was good, but for $14 I want to be wowed and i was just Oked. I also felt like it was odd that the menu didn't have prices. Out bartender was absolutely sweet though, and I'm excited to see how this place will develop. read more
