I was hesitant to return to Einstein Bros. Bagels after my last visit when my order was incomplete, but decided to give them another chance. I placed a mobile order this time and, when I went in to pick it up, decided to grab a dozen bagels for my coworkers as well. They didn't have any plain cream cheese. Seemed to be a little chaotic in there. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill from there. I tried to pay with a $100 bill, but the staff at the register didn't have enough change. Instead of handling it professionally, the manager came over and scolded the employee right in front of me, which was uncomfortable and unnecessary. In the end, I had to use another form of payment just to complete the purchase. Between the previous incomplete order and the awkward interaction this time, it just wasn't worth the hassle. Wanted something quick for breakfast but it took way longer than expected. FYI: This was my first time at this franchise. I placed an order for a jalapeño cheddar bagel with egg, bacon and cheddar sandwich. The bagel was great. I really enjoyed its softness and flavor. The sandwich as a whole fell short. I couldn't really taste the egg because it was very thin so I wish they would had offered a double egg. And the bacon was super thin and I only had like a piece of bacon. The cheese was stiff, not even melty. I wish I would have known to add cream cheese too. My kids thought it was too bland. Ordered the dragon fruit lemonade and my son didn't even drink it. He said it was too sweet. I got the cold brew with caramel and I thought that was way too sweet. The tables were dirty when we sat. No one was going around cleaning any. I thought we sat for a long time waiting for these simple sandwiches. It took them like 15 minutes to make them! Overall, Not worth what we paid. read more

I returned here, since Deanna F had a birthday coupon, despite the fact the owner reached out, asked me to fill out a survey for corporate and that I would hear back for resolution- which never happened. The bagels did seem fresher this time, which was nice. For how expensive my bagel sandwich was I expected it to be a bit better- it was fine though. Chocolate chip cookie was mid. This is probably the worst bagel place. Lousy customer service that comes with a convoluted sense of self-importance. We preordered our bagels 2.5 dozen for an office party. We came to pick them up next day at the pickup time and they told us they were out of all the bagels we pre-ordered a day earlier. This was our 2nd unprofessional experience at this place. This is the worst location I've ever been to. By 10:00 am every trash can was full, the bathrooms had no toilet paper, the floors were gross, and none of the coffees were full. They need to be shut down. We waited an hour for the Santa Fe sandwich and regular bagel with cream cheese. After all that time, neither were toasted and they claimed it was a bad toaster and the sandwich eggs and sausage were cold. Absolutely disgusting. read more

First time eating here and I have to say I was not at all impressed. Ordered the bacon egg cheese Asiago bagel with hash brown and blueberry muffin online. Upon picking it up the bagel was cold and I was not happy with the quality of the bagel. The hash brown was in a paper bag that the hash brown stuck to so the crust and a good amount of the hash brown was wasted and it was very small at that. I believe this establishment can do a whole lot better. I only gave it 2 stars cause the blueberry muffin was good. read more

I've been going to this Einstein's location since long before the roof collapsed but this was such a bad experience! I placed an online order after being disappoint by closure at my 2:00 arrival. I placed my order for pick up the next day at 11. I arrived at about 12 to find the drive up closed again with the lame excuse they were understaffed. (4 employees I could see this pickup) A frequent repeat event this past year. As I am disabled this is a huge negative! Then I get my order home...my bagels have been the driest I've Ever experienced. It was like they had been bagged since the night I placed my order or longer. My pretzel bagels were also dry but had no or just a one inch square of salt at the edge. Not at all what I've come to expect for Einsteins/Noahs! I hope the current staff gets some retraining. read more

If I could give this location a zero, I would. I came in and waited in line at around 11:20. There was 1 apple cinnamon bagel and so I ordered that and a small coffee. I paid and left a tip. The coffee bar is so sad. There use to be bar of flavored, hot coffees and now there are 3 sad containers. The first light roast container was empty, so I guess I'm trying the other one, which turned out to be luke warm. I waited about 10 minutes at a table for my order and I was now told that they ran out of my bagel because an online order took precedence. I said, ok and went to ask for a refund. I was ok with the room temperature coffee but not the lack of bagel. I use to love this place even though it is out of the way. I need to find a bagel place that keeps a decent stock and keeps hot and fresh coffee. Also, there was a homeless man inside eying people with his tall boy of Mickie's beer, so be cautious of your surroundings here. read more

Review update - originally left a 2 star review and now correcting to one. I drove THIRTY minutes to this location yesterday as I know they have a drive through and I was in my PJs after dropping kids off at school. When I arrived, the drive through was closed.. this is after the lobby being closed last week when I wanted to enter into the lobby. I do end up taking the trek inside in my PJs and walk right up to order. (Wasn't busy at all, why is drive through closed?). I placed an order for three bagels and paid an extra upcharge for two eggs on each bagel. After making the THIRTY minute drive back home, I opened my bagels to find ZERO eggs on them - not even the eggs that originally come on them. The owner of this business comments on every review to put on the front that the business cares and corrects issues however they make YOU reach out to them via email and when you do, they dont respond. Parking is nonexistent. Every space was full. Parked in the electric charging spot. Long line and not much selection left and it's only 8:45 am! Friendly staff. 20 minute wait for one breakfast bagel. No napkins in the holder. Got my order wrong, but thankfully, I had an inkling to check my order before I pulled out of the parking lot and sure enough it was wrong Their service recovery, however, was perfection. Had my correct order within 2 minutes with a very sincere apology. I think their problem is short staffing. The staff they do have are friendly, sincere, and very apologetic if something goes wrong. Maybe next time I'll order online and just do a pick up that seem to go pretty well for the folks that did that I love their bagels and their smears if they could just get there staffing issues figured out they'd be golden. read more

It's Monday, so we decided to pick up a box of bagels using Einstein's app and their Monday special. Once in the store, we selected our bagels for the week, added a Maplehouse Egg Sandwich, and got a cup of Hazelnut Vanilla Coffee. At checkout, we were informed that the corporate office had changed the policy for their Monday special. Now, you must make an in-store purchase sometime during the month to qualify for the Monday special, and it can't be done through the app. This new policy starts on the first of the month and ends on the last day. We were surprised because we hadn't received any notice via email or through the app. Fortunately, they honored the Monday special for us today, so we're set for the rest of the month. However, a little notice would have been appreciated. Once we'd paid and sat down, we enjoyed our breakfast. The Maplehouse Egg Sandwich was on a French Toast Bagel with egg, cheddar cheese, bacon, sausage, and honey almond shmear. It struck a perfect balance between sweet and savory, and I savored every bite. Overall, we enjoy the chewy texture of their bagels and usually get a baker's dozen to go for the week. We may need to adjust our plans with the new policy change, but it won't stop us. We'll be back for more bagels soon. read more

Food is good, It's been a place I used to go at least once a week. Now maybe once a month or whenever their drive thru is actually open on a weekend. Spoiler it's been at least 2 months I've driven by the place every Saturday sometimes Sunday see the drive thru is closed and just take my business elsewhere. Disappointing is an understatement. Really hope they figure it out not sure how many more empty trips I can make before I stop all together. Yes I've gone inside but I don't like doing that. Especially when you have to stand in line for 10 or so minutes and wait another 10 for food. Man it's so sad what has happened to this place after the roof collapsed, they have never been the same. Also inside the tables seems to be rarely ever actually clean, it's like they rely on customers cleaning up their own mess and they clean at close. Not a place I typically would want to eat at. The outside tables are nice though.... Ima just out this here... please find a way to open the drive thru over the weekend you know how many times I've showed up just to see people leave cause you have a closed drive thru not including me it's probably insane the amount of sales you're losing out yearly cause of this. Not sure how you can justify not staffing the location over the weekend. read more

OK, I'm from NYC and a bit of a bagel snob. In actuality, it's probably the water and the altitude that affects the baking process. Rounds came to as close to a NY bagel as I could find in Reno. Followed by Einstein's. Then they both closed and I was lost. Tried Desert Bagel .. they're not bad .. not a good as Rounds or Einsteins. And Lox Stock and something Bagels .. big doughy rounds of bread. But really nice people. And when your name starts with Lox, you shouldn't run out of them. So when Einstein's reopend recently I was very very happy. I asked what happend .. owner Steve said that a few years ago we had all that rain, he developed a leaky roof. Then he was not able to find a reliable contractor to make the repairs and was forced to close. But everything is repaired and they are once again open for business. Einsteins is about 5 1/2 miles from home, so I just don't stop every once in a while for a bagel. I usually buy the bakers dozen, take them home, slice them and freeze them (double bag). Then when I want a bagel I just pop it in the oven frozen, I get a nice crusty outside with a soft inside. read more

If I can describe my multiple experiences at this bagel shop is nothing short of chaos. Even ordering ahead through uber eats doesn't make the process any smoother. If they aren't giving your order away to the wrong people , they neglect to either update Uber Eats to tell people they're out of stock or they leave you sitting 30+ minutes in the cafe til you finally get mad and raise your voice. The workers either need stronger leadership or the company needs to close this site because they can't figure it out. I come here all the time. I love the store and all the employees, but lately they have been closing the drive thru and a lot of time i can't go in because I have my kids and dog in my car. So I drive all the way there past other coffee places just to not be able to get my bagel and coffee. Lately the lack of employees had made their place a disaster. There were 4 people in front of me in line when I checked in and 2 waiting for their order. Everyone sitting had their food. Super slow service for average food. Haven't been here in a while, when did they start barking out a name once and leaving it on the counter instead of making eye contact with the customer? The store is large and spacious and well stocked with all of our favorites. You order and pay in one line, which is perfect. The people are fantastic. They are kind, accurate in their orders and their information, and responsive to anything you need or ask. The order was absolutely correct and the food was a five out of five. Very high-quality. In my opinion after visiting Einstein's all over the west while traveling in our van, this is the best Einstein I've ever been to hands-down! Well done to this team and their leadership. read more

We were excited to try this bagel spot out and left with disappointment. We didn't get the drink we order. We had to go remind them that we had a drink. One of our bagels didn't have the aoili sauce. Had to get up again to go ask for that. Then a dog was let inside and was roaming around, came to our table towards our food and then we witnessed the dog going to other tables doing the same. This experience was not pleasant at all. Just the dog alone is unsanitary. read more

Came in this Sunday (today) hoping to get in and out quickly through the drive-thru, unfortunately that did not happen. The drive-thru was blocked so I had to walk in and order in my jammies and messy hair. Upon walking in I immediately understood the reason for the blocked drive-thru. They were severally under staffed (which isn't typically for this store/location) and all the employees were HUSTLING. There was a line of at least 8 people waiting to order and at least that many waiting for their orders. I waited in line 18 mins just to place my order, and by the time I did the order taker was super apologetic. Not their fault, I'm sure they're dealing with call-ins and staffing shortages like the rest of the service industry. What I truly appreciate, as a customer, is the service and hustle these employees showed this very busy and challenging Sunday. And the staff could not have been more on top of their game and still appear to be enjoying their job. Luckily, customers seemed to understand because no one acted disgruntled. read more

So to begin with, Naomi, our cashier charged us for Garden avocado bagels... my wife's was supposed to be sesame seed bagel, with one egg, and mine was supposed to be poppy seed bagel with 2 eggs (they ran out if everything bagels), both ordered as 'make it a meal' which includes a twice baked hash browns and a medium coffee, of which we ordered both as make it a meal. What we got: our coffee cups were immediately given to us, so we got those, but when our food was ready, they forgot our hash browns, and our sandwiches were wrong! Both were with poppy seed bagels, and both with one egg! I asked the girl if she can give us a couple hash browns but she messed that up too and only gave us one! I told her we had 2 meals and we still needed another one! Finally she got it for us and said to hell with it on the sandwiches as we were starving already (no doubt they would've screwed that up too!). Another few things: tables are NOT wiped down, they're disgusting with trash and crumbs from other customers' meals. The trash cans are all over full and not tended to either! The manager never once came over to apologize for the screwed up order either! To make it all worse, no receipt was given to us by Naomi so we could get comment on this store, which is why I am on yelp to do so! While the food tasted ok, it was not what we ordered. Sorry to say this, but this is our second visit and will definitely NOT be coming here again. The Vegas chains are definitely better than Reno's, for sure! read more

Einstein is great. Bagels are fresh and the smears everyone enjoys. I ordered off the app for Mother's Day and it was such a breeze to pick up and go. Great friendly staff and I love the iced coffee. Usually not a fan of big corporate chain restaurants, but this one is A+. One of my favorite bagels is the spinach florentine with just the garden veggie smear. My family loved the bagel brunch I did for Mother's Day that we ended up having them again this week. read more

When we came it there was no one in line. We ordered 3 bagel sandwiches and went to sit down. All the tables were filthy! No one was cleaning up and a lot of standing around. We then waited about 45 minutes for those bagels to come out. Wild since no one was even in line. It seems as though they focus quite a bit more on their mobile orders rather than the people that come into the lobby. We will not be coming back. Bummer since the bagels were decent. read more

The drive through is closed - not sure if that was just today or if they're waiting to re-open after getting up and running for a while. It's been so long since I've been here I don't really remember what it was like before but they seem to be on top of their game. Line was about 8 people deep and moved quickly. One register to order, next register to pay and get drinks then wait to the side for your order. I was in and out in under 10 minutes. Bagel was good but a little light on the cream cheese for me. However, when I arrived the line was wrapped around the building with a note in the door lobby closed and mobile order must wait in line. The line was not moving. I had somewhere to be and could not wait. There was no where online to cancel an order and when you call the restaurant they do not answer, so ridiculous! Beware of this scam. read more
