Plain bagel, vanilla flavored iced latte

Fun coffee flavors and not too sweet, great selection of baked goods from reno tahoe bagel and beloved's. Fun vibes, hip decor, nice location walkable to shops and downtown. Could be fun to have some live music events, maybe reading events for families, something to get the community involved- hoping that chrome sticks around because it is definitely a unique spot!

My granddaughter and I went here on the recommendation of a friend. I fell in love with this place right away. Perfectly located near downtown and plenty of street parking as well as a lot. Very cute and clean inside. I had a chai latte iced and it was one of the best ever. Customer service was amazing as well. Next time your in the downtown area please give them a try

Chrome Coffee Works is a cute little shop that should be a must stop if in Reno. The coffee and matcha were both good.

Crawled in after a long night of casino "donations" and found salvation in a cup. They serve Olympia Coffee, which means the beans are doing the heavy lifting while I just try to stay upright. The vibe's industrial but cozy -- exposed brick, warm wood floors, and natural light that forgives your life choices. Friendly baristas and a good cup of cortado helped me forget how brutal dice could be.

Adorable coffee shop with fresh brewed drinks and snacks. Perfect for a light breakfast. We had the breakfast burrito and it was delicious! And of course I get tea at the coffee shop! They brewed it fresh and you have choice of flavors. So refreshing! Outlets at the tables so you can work or charge your phone. Service was excellent. Highly recommend!

Friendly staff and pretty fast turn around for coffee so wait was minimal. I liked the convenient outlets along the seating, also a great place to get some work done. I tried the veggie and the bacon burrito both are pretty good but my favorite thing was the sauce! I had a dirty chai, lovely place to catch up with friends and chill out over some good coffee! Pet friendly which I love and they have some limited outside seating. Bathrooms were clean and accessible!

Fast friendly service inside this spacious coffee spot. There is plenty of room so you can sit had chat without feeling like the next table is sitting in your lap. The decor is funky and fun. The best part is the coffees. I am hoping the spicy mocha makes it to the full time menu.

Super cute coffee shop with a lot of original elements to the building. (Old hardwood etc) We didn't have to wait in a line and server was kind and efficient. We ordered iced blackberry sage tea and iced orange spice tea. Both were delicious snd hit the spot on the heated afternoon! I would go back and get tea or try their coffee. Several people were hanging out studying and visiting. Seemed like a cool spot to chill for a bit. Very clean and had clean bathrooms.

Love the rotating artwork. Ivan is worth looking at. Great place to hang out and bottomless drip coffee.

I have had a chance to go here a few times and each time the coffee has been amazing. I love the vibe and how low key it is. The barista are so nice and helpful. They are a little hidden so it did take me a minute to find them , but it is definitely a must try. The only thing is I wish there was a little more parking, nothing wrong with a little walking though.

Blueberry cheese danish and a Cortado (stronger than a latte and small, not as wet bit did the trick! ..great flavor )

Second visit here to chrome coffee works with my she runs this town running group - and I have to say that the coffee seemed almost better than the first visit. We also tried a cheese bagel and one in our party had the ham and cheese croissant that were made by Beloved bread; both items were definitely worth ordering again - they were fresh and tasty and the croissant retained It's crispiness after Heating. We love that it is so close to the river and can run several 3-5 mile routes or any distance and be back for fresh coffee after our run. This place does get busy, but the service kept up great today and I love the warm ambience with the fun colorful outdoor area and signage plus the ample sized seating area.

Tried a super cute new coffee shop off Pine St. If you drive down this road you can't miss it as the building itself is a very noticeable pink building. The inside is really cute, clean and super retro looking. The menu is really simple but they do have a note that says if you don't see what you want, just ask, we can probably make it! which is pretty neat. I was hoping they would have multiple sugar feee options but they only have sugar free vanilla. I opted for an iced almond milk hazelnut latte. It's very tasty but just a tiny bit too sweet for my personal taste. My sister ordered a hot lavender latte which I tasted and it wasn't as sweet as mine. They do latte art on hot drinks which is always cute. The staff is very friendly and attentive.

Chrome Coffee Works is a total vibe! The shop is super cool, our friend recommended the iced cold brew with oat milk and vanilla was perfection. Definitely a must-visit spot in Midtown Reno!

It's a sweetened latte made with their house-made syrup, topped with whipped cream (optional if you prefer to opt out), and a buttery corn crumble. The corn crumble adds a delicious buttery, slightly savory touch that makes the latte really unique. The customer service was also great. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming! This drink was actually curated by one of the employees, which makes it even more special knowing it was thoughtfully crafted in-house! Definitely recommend stopping by and trying the Latte on the Cob if you're looking for something a little different!

Great recommendation of a well balanced coffee that is only slightly sweet. Daughters ordered the strawberry matcha latte with house made syrup and loved it. Nice location with an enjoyable outdoor patio where we were graced with a slight morning breeze. A complimentary tasting of Turkish delight was offered with each purchase of a beverage. Asked for recommendations and got the pistachio which was really good and the tart raspberry. I'd definitely order the pistachio again!! The pistachio complimented the coffee and the raspberry would be awesome with a non coffee drink.

It was a bit chaotic and confusing what made them different from any new bakery. Initially a lower value priced quality focused offering to rival perenn i believe they finally hit the spot. Their breads actually now have their character, right texture, flavor and freshness. The customer service has also improved. Staff is much friendlier than early days. I had the grinder sandwich and ate every single bite because it was so delicious. The crack and crumble of the bread was like a banh mi sandwich but filled with Italian ingredients. The only downside is their space is a bit tight for the amount of business they bring in and timing is essential to enjoy your experience here if you can grab a seat at the right time. We definitely added them back to our regular list of places to visit for our bakery needs on the mornings and weekend brunch.

What a major local gem in Reno. It only took one visit for…read moreme to become a fan of this coffee shop/bar in Midtown. You can tell that a lot of thought and heart went into the place. The decor, the entertainment, the products all struck a chord with me. On one side - a super cute pour over/loose leaf tea shop with some records for sale. On the other - a cute bar and lounge area equipped with a vinyl player (Bring one in on a Monday for them to play). You have some house pants, checkered floors, and cool vinyl covers all over the walls that make for some great & hip atmosphere and vibes. Their restrooms, though small, and clean and cool. Their pour overs are so flavorful, strong, and made with beans grounded on your visit. I love that they're flavored and sweetened in a way that allows the coffee to shine. If you're into sweeter drinks, ask for a bit more sweetner or add in a brown raw sugar packet yourself from the straw station. I hear their chocolate pour over is a hit. Matchas - prepared in a similar fashion. Slightly sweetned with subtle flavorings. I tried their carrot cake matcha today and really enjoyed the housemade syrup they used to flavor it with. I also love that they offer loose leaf teas. Their chai was nice, fragrant and great with a little sweetner and milk. Shelby over at the bar area was sooo patient with explaining their menu and suggested a isla bonita pineapple shrub drink for a non alcoholic option. Similar to their other drinks on the coffee side, it was tamed in sugar yet still fun and flavorful. I really enjoyed the tang from the apple cider and the spice from the tajin chili powder as a contrasting flavor. Double check their website for bar and coffee shop hours as they differ from one another. And follow them on Instagram for updates on seasonal specials & themed gatherings. A lot of cool local DJs spin here for special events and parties during the holidays. Tip: sit next to the pour over station next to the menu. It's so entertaining, especially with Sydney working the station (thanks so much for the chat and entertainment. Honestly one of the friendliest baristas I've ever met in Reno). Both bars are set up in a way that allows for meeting others and socializing. Check it out. It's a good time. Notes *Catch live jazz music on Wednesdays here for free. *free street & neighborhood parking *bagels & cream cheese available at the coffee shop *they have fun with their seasonal drink specials. I dig it.

An interesting combination of coffee shop, bar, and vinyl lounge, EP is located on Wells Avenue. Took a break from checking out other neighborhood shops to sit and enjoy an afternoon cocktail with friends. Plenty of various comfy seating areas and about six spots at the bar. I tried the Float On, a boozy adult root beer float using local gelato from Bibo. It's a coffee shop, so my friend sipped the 9 to 5, their version of an espresso martini. The Soul Sipper, a beautiful orange colored cocktail was similar to an Aperol Spritzer. Located on the corner of Wells and Vassar, there's a little more street parking available.
