I loved my matcha from this spot! I loved the fact that it's opened later than regular cafes so I could get matcha at 4pm. It was so tasty, I loved the ambiance, the staff were so sweet and helpful!
Quirky exciting energetic spot! Take a short walk up the very well kept stairs and enter into the coffee bar and roasting room. Wide open and welcoming. Lots going on take the time to see all the options before ordering. Seasonal drinks as well as unique creations. There is a menu (I should have looked before I was leaving)!!!! Food looked really good from the people sitting at the open window overlooking the courtyard. Packaged coffee beans available in every style of roast. Came for espresso beans and they had them. They offered to ground them as well. Took them whole. Had an awesome card spring special... Tonic and espresso.... Interesting flavor that grew on me as I drank it. Would be a fun place at night to explore some more.
Visited Midnight Coffee for the first time and it's a little challenging to find which is probably why I haven't noticed it before. It's located upstairs over Biggest Little Steakhouse and the entrance is at the back of that restaurant. Magic Hands Baked Goods had a popup there (their baked goods are amazing!)which is why I was there. The restaurant is very cute and spacious inside. Service was great. I ordered a brown sugar oat milk latte which was very good and goat cheese toast to take home to my husband who really enjoyed it. Very enjoyable experience
This coffee shop is my new go to study spot! And, it seems like it's the go to study spot for a lot of other students as I always see some solo folks and some groups locked in on their work. Their open late with is a huge plus for me! The coffee is FIRE! Whether you get a simple americano or something more, like their purple haze, the coffee is rich and full bodied! They have ample seating indoor and if you're there on a sunny day, they pop the windows out for some fresh air! Their baristas are patient, kind, and provide good recommendations if you don't know what to go for when you come in. I'll likely be there at least once a week until I graduate... then I'll find another excuse to get in here
The guys that were working there were super nice and the drink was delicious! While we were there, there was a comedy show going which was pretty funny. Will definitely check this place out again.
There aren't many Coffee places that are open late, but they're missing out because Midnight Coffee Roasting was packed tonight. My daughter and I attended an event and coffee sounded perfect before calling it a night. There were alot of people, but we still managed to find a cozy spot to hang out for a while. I had a Chai Latte and let me tell you, it was delicious! The staff here are also the best. They're friendly and bring your Coffee wherever you are sitting... not in a paper cup, but in a Here cup. Love this place!!
I landed late into Reno and I'm always scoping out a cool place to go. I never thought a coffee shop would be open at this late hour, but open it was and when I entered, there was live music and a full coffee bar with lots of flavors and a variety of house-made syrups. I may have landed in the best place ever. I did order a blackberry latte. It was a bit too sweet for me, but I love the whole vibe of this place. Good service. They are located upstairs. Please come and create your own adventure.
Midnight Coffee Roasting is a cool spot located on the edge of midtown. The space is bigger than I expected and I was surprised by the huge selection of food and drink! We ordered an eggnog foam cold brew and a purple haze latte. Both were very good. I preferred my wife's latte (it was perfectly sweet) as I felt the cold brew was not as strong as I wanted. Prices were reasonable and the baristas were very friendly. I really want to return to try the food! Everything coming out of the kitchen looked really good. I was a bit confused about the roasting aspect. They only had a small roasting area and I would be very surprised if all of the roasting actually happened here, but I didn't ask, so maybe a good question for next time. Overall, this is a great addition to the Reno coffee scene. Plenty of seating to get some work done, enjoy a pick me up with friends and family, or just chill while enjoying some good coffee. Cheers!

Surprise, surprise, my first stop in Reno was a locally owned coffee shop! On a chilly October morning, a hot cup of joe was calling. Cool spot with a unique staircase entrance. A few tables outside in the shade early in the morning. When you walk in, you're welcomed into a large coffee shop divided into two rooms. The entry room is the counter where you order, the other room is the seating area and roastery. Yes, you can watch them roasting their own coffee on site! Because it was cold I went with a hot Americano. It was lovely and soothing. I love that they also had seasonal drinks on the menu, as wel as food items, and a beer cooler! My colleague bought some bags of beans for the road, which goes to show how delicious their coffee is. If I lived in Reno, Midnight would definitely be in the rotation. Until next time!

It took almost 30 minutes to get my drink. But it sure was yummy! Next time we're in town I'd love to try the Purple Haze!

They have several beers and other drinks available and the staff are really friendly. They recently upgraded a few of their tables with more comfortable chairs but there are all kinds of seating options to meet your needs. In the summer they keep the windows open and in the winter it's a cozy respite to work or hang out in.
I came in with a friend on a Saturday morning on his recommendation. This is a great local coffee shop and roaster. I got my usual Vanilla Latte. It was a warm morning so I got it Iced. I really enjoyed the espresso roast they use in the drinks. I also got a Gluten-Free lemon blueberry poundcake. It was quite good! Denser than a cake, but not quite as dense a cheescake. This was an amazing find in Reno. This shop is located on the 2nd floor of a strip shop and it has all the best elements of a 3rd wave coffee shop. It's all about the beans (they roast on premises) and the coffee. We had a beautifully crafted latte served in a ceramic mug. The barista is clearly well experienced and textured the milk perfectly. The temperature was also on point and what was created was a delicious, creamy and smooth drink where the coffee notes were present and not over bearing. Outstanding! The ambiance of the place is relaxed and the staff was very friendly. I would highly recommend this coffee shop if in the Reno area! read more

Found this cutesy place on Yelp while I was visiting Reno and decided to give it a go. The entrance is in the rear of the building, upstairs. The establishment itself is cute, modern and inviting. They have tons of seating with open windows and free WiFi if you maybe wanted to work or study. The staff were also very friendly and inviting. I ordered the Purple Haze Latte and it was good but I do enjoy my coffees sweet and I should have ordered extra sweet. I felt like it could have used a little more flavor for the blackberry/vanilla flavor I was expecting. I also ordered a bacon breakfast burrito and after 35 minutes of waiting, I went up and asked and the cook had dropped it and had to remake it, so I just called it a loss and asked for a refund. Things happen, I get it but waiting that long on a breakfast burrito is insane. If I was local, I'd probably give the another shot but traveling thru I'd probably try something different in the area next time. read more

In the morning, it's not too bad it's not really loud. My friend and I had a blast here getting stuff done. Me and boyfriend needed a pickup after traveling all day and this place popped up . The one thing that drew me to this place was it was open until midnight which is not typical for coffee shops . I got the iced latte with the sugar free vanilla . Overall the service was great . The coffee was flavorful . I really liked that this place served beer as well with the coffee . One of the best coffee spots in town. Cozy ambiance, friendly staff, and great coffee. I had the Purple Haze Latte, one of their signature drinks. It was amazing smooth and not too sweet, which I loved. My husband got an iced latte with sugar-free Irish hazelnut, and it was just as good. Both were perfect for the summer heat, and the glassware added a nice touch. We also ordered the charcuterie board since we weren't very hungry. It turned out to be surprisingly generous and delicious. It came with pickled onions, feta, cheddar, capers, salami, fig jam, and crackers. Everything paired so well with our coffees. I went searching for some coffee and found this place. this was a hard place to find. it is upstairs and the entrance is at the back. essentially, its on top of the steak place. on to the coffee. I order the pour over midnight blue. it was pretty good. i could taste light sour notes from the ethiopian and the rest was brazil. interesting blend. i also dabble in blending, i always use brazil as the base, the chocolate note is a good base. i usually add Guatemala or Indonesian. 2 completely different tasting profile. this one would be a new one with the light sour notes from ethiopia fyi, I hadn't got any coffee in reno for 2 days.... this taste great and gave me some giddy up as it was on empty stomach. full 16oz. i also got a couple bags of their blends. i am always on a look out for coffee roasters every time i travel. found a good spot today. this was pretty much the highlight of the trip... the bags of coffee beans were i believe ~$20 per 12oz havn't try them yet on the aeropress. the pour over was good. i will do 20g aeropress to get more flavors out of it. anyways, i like this place. service was very friendly read more

FINALLY a coffee shop that stays open late! They close around 10pm - 12am depending on the day of the week! They have a lot of coffee and tea options with a small selection of pastries. I ordered the maple cold brew and chocolate chip cookie and both were amazing. Staff was so nice and helpful and the coffee shop had a ton of indoor seating with an option for patio seating. The restaurant is nestled in the heart of midtown and is the perfect spot to grab a coffee and unwind. Definitely recommend! read more

Great place for trivia, book club, and studying! Make sure to check what activities are going on that day before visiting to get the vibe you want. Parking can be a little crazy, don't worry after going once you'll figure it out after messing up a time or two. They have several drink and food options (which I have had several off), one of my favorites being the prairie quinoa bowl and the turkey sando. I also love getting a hot chocolate with oak milk, only thing I don't love is that the hot chocolate isn't ever that hot. The food delivery depends on how busy it is and there are some alcoholic beverages if that is your thing. read more
This place was cool. The barista on shift went the mile to make our experience great. We had a young person with us, so coffee for them was out. The young lady behind the counter made her an excellent frappe with chocolate and whip cream that was delightfully enjoyed. Like the calmness, definitely had a "local" vibe. Well worth visiting. Came here with a friend for Saturday morning coffee and had a great time! It's tucked away downtown but has parking which I really appreciated. It is upstairs and has some outdoor seating and opened up to the outside. They have lots of indoor seating as well. The staff was smiley and cheerful. The menu was great, so many options and great specials. Food as well! I got the brown sugar shaken expresso, my favorite drink and theirs was so good I wish I got a bigger size! I love how they put their coffee in fun glass jars! It was pretty busy after a short time there. It had a great vibe! I will returning especially since they have a loyalty reward punch card!! read more
