I come here, at least, once a week for a specialty coffee drink that costs upwards of $7. The last time I was here I noticed that this fine concoction was missing from what looked to be newly printed menus, thinking it was a mistake, I ordered it and was served. Today I had my taste buds geared for the ever delectable Orange Blossom Latte, and was denied... told by staff that they were out of the magic syrup that completes it, and that it was off of the menu, for good. They may as well have told me that they were, from here on out, serving only decaf!! This latte is actually being copied, unsuccessfully, in other coffee shops around town, due to its amazing allure, so its removal here is nothing short of a crime. I left today, buying nothing. Solid 4/5, definitely better than your average anywhere coffee shop. I'd like to come back and try some of the more normal hot options. The Horchata Iced and the Lemon Pound Cake iced were just both lacking in actual espresso flavor to put them at a true 5/5. The wife and I ended up sipping about an inch off of them, then just taking them home and adding another 2oz espresso shot from our home machine to each. Very very milk forward on those lattes, but smooth, no bitterness at all. Service was very good, my wife had questions about the different flavored options and the barista did a great job explaining them and breaking down the flavor profiles. As far as ambiance, I might be splitting hairs but the register area was quite messy, and idk maybe just throw a couple bucks at some cooler looking trash cans haha. Those standard Walmart ones really stuck out in an otherwise put together and hip space. Overall, pleasurable visit, just not my absolute favorite craft coffee in Reno. I'll come back and try some more standard drinks so I can get a true taste of the coffee itself, totally looking forward to it. read more

Review #003 - 2025 So glad I decided to come back and give this place a second try. In all honesty, I don't really remember my first experience here back in March 2024. All I know is that it was conveniently located. We showed up at around 1:30 PM on Saturday, March 22nd. There was no line so we were helped immediately. Our barista, Elise, was super friendly. She had a big smile as soon as she saw us walking in. Right after we placed our order, 5-6 people came in. My husband actually asked me how did they expect her to take their orders and still make our drinks? Much to our surprise she was able to manage like a pro. She got our drinks made and all of the customers placed their orders in a timely manner. My matcha latte was made to perfection! My husband's London fog made him so happy he literally asked to come back and order a second cup after we went to lunch next door. I don't think I have ever had two cups of caffeine in such a short time frame. I caved and came back with my husband to get a mocha drogata (a sweet and spicy mocha). I asked to have it less sweet, but it was still too sweet for my personal liking since I normally order my drinks without sugar. I still enjoyed it though. Our daughter had the Honest Kid's lemonade and she loved hanging out and playing chess her daddy! Win-win for the whole family! We will definitely be back on our next visit to Reno :) We actually returned for breakfast on Sunday, March 23rd and tried their waffles. I had the Brie and prosciutto while our daughter had the chocolate hazelnut and we both enjoyed our breakfast. The prosciutto was much saltier than I expected--I'm not sure if it's made in-house or bought from an outside source. Hopefully, they can find something with less sodium. I was at the Carson City location recently and not only did I order wrong, I just wasn't feeling the location. Today though, I came to the Midtown location and loved it. I ordered a Latte and hung out reading my book for over an hour. It was really good and served in a real mug just the way I like it. With all these warm days we've had, it was actually cold today, so the mood was perfect for reading. It can get a bit loud, but it didn't bother me at all. The girl at the counter was super nice. Came here with my brother in the morning and we were helped right away. We wanted breakfast but their breakfast options were pretty pricey in our opinion so we just got coffee. The staff members were smiley and nice! My brother got the lavender vanilla latte and I got a London fog. We went to sit down and lots of people were working on their computer enjoying their morning cup of joe. It is cute inside and you can buy coffee beans and some merch while you're in line. We had to wait awhile for our drinks which was odd since they didn't seem very busy. Once we got our drinks, my brother didn't like the lavender flavor in his drink unfortunately, but he still drank it. My London fog was not sweetened very much, not to my liking at least. I stopped in to the Old World Coffee Roasters in Midtown for a cup of coffee. I had hoped to be greeted by a friendly person but instead was barely greeted by a young man (20 something) without a smile or personality. (for identification only-lots of tattoos) I asked for a cup of decaf coffee and he brought over a tiny cup of expresso. I had asked for a cup of coffee so I had to ask him to make the expresso into an Americano coffee. He begrudgingly poured it into a coffee cup for me. I wasn't asking for anything major so I don't know why he had such an attitude. Needless to say, I won't be going back there ever again. He made the experience so uncomfortable that I couldn't wait to get out of there. Sad to see that is what the customer service is like in your coffee shop. read more

No complaints about Old World! It's a large space with a lot of natural light, so it's a nice place to bring your laptop and get some work done, or read a book. The line was fairly long when we got in, on a late Sunday afternoon, but not a bad wait. The staff were friendly. They allow dogs which is one of the biggest draws. Living in Midtown, it's so nice to just take a stroll and be able to pop into a place for coffee without worry about the dog. I tried the holiday special peppermint bark latte. It was well crafted, including a crushed peppermint candy topping. The mint flavor tasted homemade and not overly syrupy, which I appreciated. They offer wifi but I didn't see the password posted (and I'd rather die than ask). Another con is if you sit on the shared bench table, you can feel very shake and movement from other people sharing the bench. Nice relaxing and quiet vibe but some folks ruin it with watching loud videos on their phone... Also you bus your table by dropping the cups off in the back of the cafe. read more
