I took a walk around the lake and explore the college and decided to grab a drink before heading to my next destination. Buzzed coffee has good vibes. I grabbed a latte and visited "the office" aka the aptly named restroom and relaxed a bit in the indoor siting space. Great experience. Street parking. Buzzed Coffee is our first stop when in Reno. I try to always order a drink from the seasonal menu. And it never disappoints. My daughter always gets the cinnamon muffin (it's her favorite). Such a cute coffee shop with relaxed vibes walking distance from the University. Great place to get work done or to just grab a coffee with friends. Cozy relaxed vibes and a nice bright atmosphere with lots of fun colors. Nice size loft upstairs to sit as well as patio seating out front or out back. Visiting town and was intrigued by this coffee shop, but after coming to visit at 3pm, it seems nothing was set up.. Tv was off so there wasn't a menu to look at, and we were told there wasn't any espresso .. for a coffee shop? They did have cold brews + teas, but unfortunately that isn't what we were looking for. Buzzed is a rad little spot located on the UNR campus. This location has always been a coffee shop, but Buzzed is new to me, so after some lunch nearby a caffeine boost was needed! My brother and I took a stroll over to Buzzed for an afternoon pick me up. A stroll is advised since parking can be tricky in this area unless you're a student who already has working access in the campus. They've got drinks and some light snack options here. We opted for some iced options since it was toasty out. The iced matcha was good. The barista made some sweetener recommendations but I opted for unsweetened and it was still tasty. My brother enjoyed his iced caramel macchiato. Better than Starbucks! The space is cool with an upstairs loft space if you'd like to hang out and plenty of outdoor seating as well. The first floor has some thrifted clothing available for browsing too. Cool! Overall a worthy coffee spot in the UNR area. Go check it out! Catch a buzz! read more

Had a nice experience here. I went there just after lunch and ordered an iced Matcha latte with strawberry and oat milk. It was pretty good as matcha goes because you could actually taste it. I would've liked more ice, but that's an easy fix. The restaurant was kind of empty, but it looked like a crowd had just left. Service was pretty quick, and they were very helpful. I sat outside to get some fresh air and because they weren't busy; She was so kind to bring it to me. I would definitely recommend this placed. read more

I was here over the weekend, wanted to get some coffee before I drive back to the Bay Area. I was looking for some coffee on the way and came across this pretty cool vibe coffee shop. Parking was very hard to find, I think I had a park at the gas station that was behind the coffee shop. Or around the other side of the corner. It is by the university, so you'll see a lot of students here. Service was nice, I placed an online order because when I was passing by, there was a huge line. But it was just a group of people for orientation I think? I really like the interior and that there's a loft upstairs. Downstairs behind the coffee bar, is a lot of swags and pops to take photos of. So it's kind of like those Photo Booth style thing. Coffee was really good, I ordered mocha with oat milk and a hint of peppermint. I really like that you can really customize your own coffee here. I would definitely come back here to get some buzzing coffee and try their other flavors. read more

The counter to order is right there as you enter. There is outdoor and upstair seating. There are some used clothes available for sale in the back of the shop. Service was fast. The matcha was pretty good for Reno standards, but just alright. The muffin was also just alright. This is one of the better options to go to if you're trying to grab a drink and chat near UNR. read more

Rarely get coffee in drive through but was cold and picking up hubby after dropping off rental. Convent location by enterprise rental agency. The cost was $7 for regular coffee, mocha. Not as good as Starbucks. read more

I visited Buzzed Coffee around 9:30 AM on a Wednesday. There were a few folks already enjoying their coffee but there wasn't anyone in line so I was helped right away. As I was ordering, three additional parties came in. There was only one employee working but managed to take everyone's order and make all the drinks in a timely manner. Two things about Buzzed Coffee really stand out to me: (1) the prices are cheap! I got an iced coffee with a flavor syrup for $2.85. (2) The coffee is actually good! Ordering an iced coffee is always a gamble, but the one I got was delicious. Buzzed Coffee seems like a great place to catch up with friends or get some work done. Great coffee on UNR campus. You walk in and feel the college vibe from the music to the signs to decor and layout. Friendly, cheery staff even first thing in the morning (7am). Brewed coffee is delicious and the vanilla latte was excellent. Served fast and hot and with a smile! Been here two days in a row and will return for another two days and anytime we are back in Reno. read more

I have mostly positives to say about this place. It has a reasonably varied drink menu, with options to individualize them, and a few (but not many) snack options. The best part is that the staff working the counter has always been exceptionally friendly, almost like they are truly happy to see those who walk through their doors. Today after we sat and had been sipping our coffee for a short time, the young man who had waited on us went out of his way to leave his post and bring us 50% off coupons to use on our next visit. The only bad aspects are that parking is very limited (street parking), and the main seating is upstairs and thus difficult for those with mobility issues. There is, however, outdoor seating as an option in nice weather. I would return to support this place for the service alone. read more

We came in around 5pm Thursday 4/25. We just got plain coffee. I got iced, and my boyfriend hot. It tasted good. The service was great. The barista there was super friendly and welcoming. We would just go back based on service alone. Next time we will actually try something other than plain coffee lol we only went in to get coffee to eat with our cookies from next door. If your not walking don't even bother! It's impossible to find parking! This place is perfect for students though, It's right across from the university. They have a nice seating area in front, upstairs and outback. If you sit outback be prepared to have little bugs flying into your hair, face, coffee etc. the girls behind the counter were so sweet! After hearing about buzzed coffee's inner thrift shop, I had high hopes for the coffee and the possibility of it being a place I regularly hang out at. However, I was just disappointed by the coffee I got. I ordered an iced vanilla apple latte and the flavor of the syrups were good, but the espresso was watery from the get go. One thing I always look for in my lattes is richness from the milk paired with smooth espresso, and this unfortunately just lacked in both those categories. The thrift store in the back was frankly overpriced and not the hidden gem I was hoping it would be. They had a nicely decorated and spacious bathroom which I appreciated. The worker was also great to talk to, very friendly and made me feel welcomed. I just wish the coffee was better, because buzzed coffee's location and thrift-cafe concept is spectacular. read more

Buzzed is a UNR staple for good reason: studying here is a great vibe. The decor is top-notch. However, the coffee is not. Every drink I have had from Buzzed has been mediocre at best. The white mocha is okay, but that's about it. Come here to study, get a muffin, but don't get a coffee here. read more

The place was really cute and upbeat. The server, didn't get her name was really perky and friendly, great way to start the day. I am so excited to have another coffee shop near campus after all the surrounding cafes closed! Buzzed Coffee took over the old Hub location by the University. I hadn't noticed it on my morning drive until today and knew I had to stop by! Nestled right next to Laughing Planet, Buzzed Coffee shares the back patio with the restaurant. The shop is super cute and fun inside with colorful walls and seating. The service is friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They have a very extensive menu of tea and coffee drinks. Upon recommendation my friend and I got iced dirty chais with brown sugar cinnamon for me and salted caramel for her. Our other friend got an iced lavender vanilla matcha latte. The chais were flavorful and not too sweet and my friend enjoyed her matcha a lot! Again, I'm so glad that Buzzed Coffee opened up so close to UNR and know that I'll be frequent visitor! read more

Finally we have a coffee shop near by the south part of the university. Nice location with WiFi to study or work. Has indoor and outdoor seatings. Very colorful nice decoration. The stuff are very very friendly. I totally recommend grabbing your coffee from Buzzed coffee. read more

Buzzed coffee is a nice college coffee shop! They are super involved with UNR and have a great atmosphere in the shop. However, their coffee isn't the best and the drinks are usually expensive ($8 for large). It's often hit or miss with the drinks, I have had some AWESOME drinks but also some pretty sub par drinks. It's a nice change from Starbucks/office coffee but I wish it were more consistent! read more
