They have sooooo much more then just coffee and now it's become one of my favorite go to places for a quick drink/snack/lunch depending on what you get. The chai is powdered and it was okay. Not super flavorful but I do love that there is a hemp milk option. Which is an upcharge but my drink was $6 and some change. Like Starbucks would have been $11 if not more so I'd be down to come back and support this little local spot. Lovely ladies working there that greeted me with a smile. Met my best friend here for breakfast last week! It's been ages since we actually sat down in this locally owned coffee joint. I ordered a sausage and egg breakfast burrito to sustain me until lunch. My son had a chocolate cheesecake muffin as well with some milk. I ordered their creme brulee latte special my girlfriend had a smoothie and a bagel. It was nice to catch up with her and be able to sit down and enjoy a coffee shop that we haven't been physically in, in years. I love to go out and get a blended or hot coffee drinks and have recently discovered this little gem on the northwest side of town. My very first visit I had such a hard time making up my mind because I had not been to a coffee place that offered so many flavor choices. I finally decided to order my drink and asked what dairy free milks they had. Once again, I was not disappointed. I had my choice of several of the dairy free options. So far, my favorite is the Cherry Garcia blended with oat milk. I want that one again but still have so many others to choose from. My second favorite is probably the Milky Way. I have not tried any of the hot varieties but will be soon. Finally, just want to mention the staff are all very friendly and helpful. Don't forget to get your stamp card so after 10 purchases the 11th one is free. read more

I can't believe I have never been here before! It is less than 10 mins away from my house in NW Reno. I will certainly be coming here more often now! I have been here twice recently and both times were great. The first time, I got the iced campfire chai (vanilla chai and toasted marshmallow). It was delicious! The flavor balance was perfect and it wasn't overly sweet. The second time, I got the iced Spring Dream (green tea matcha, lavender, vanilla) which I also loved. I really like that they have so many unique flavored lattes because those are always my favorite drinks to get at coffee shops! They have so much more than that though; you can also get basic coffees/teas, smoothies, and sparklers. There are sooo many options, I'm sure they can make whatever you want. It's nice that their sizing menu even tells you how many shots of espresso come in the drink. They are happy to make substitutions of less espresso, types of milk, etc. This is a solid coffee shop and I'm looking forward to trying even more of their drinks in the future! read more

I don't know how this place isn't talked about more. I stopped by because I had a coupon, and am hooked! The variety of smoothies is AMAZING. I have been looking for a new smoothie place, so I'm excited to finally find it! I got the starburst because it's similar to a Hawaiian POG (passion orange guava) and it tasted just like one! I was recommended to try purple bean by my previous co worker John. I am a lover of White chocolate mochas. Purple bean has their own take to what I consider a classic called white elephant. The white elephant is personally better hot versus iced. What I really enjoy about purple is their customer service. The baristas are friendly, they always ask how my morning is going. I also really like that they put a sticker as a coffee stopper. Though I have never been inside the coffee shop, I have used the drive thru many times. If you like coffee on the sweeter side, then the Purple Bean is a great place for you! I like that they have a variety of flavor combinations to choose from, and their prices are pretty cheap as well. I ordered a medium iced coffee for less than $3, and an iced latte with white chocolate and hazelnut (the White Elephant) for less than $3.50. They also feature daily specials, which is nice if you aren't sure what to order. Their indoor seating is a bit small, but homey. They also have a drive-thru, which is great if you prefer your coffee on the go. Wait times were average, and the staff is very polite. Purple Bean also has a punch card, but my friend and I definitely had to inquire about it before being given one. It seems like they do 1 punch per visit, not drink. I love that they are also close to my office! It's a nice spot to go to when I want to support local and especially not deal with the longer lines/higher prices at Starbucks. read more

I'm generally against giving a review of a place just for the drive thru experience. You aren't really experiencing much service, just the product but with the current epidemic, you have to make exceptions. The infused Earl Grey tea I got was pretty great and didn't last long after I got it. Service was drive thru service, you see the person taking your order, then they disappear until you get your order. Not much else to say about that. It was pretty slow as well. I only had one car in front of me and it still took around 15 min to get up to the window and person in front of me had only 2 drinks. Maybe they were working on call in orders too though, who knows but I probably won't go here if I'm in a hurry. read more
