Yelp Review -- Beanie's Coffee I heard about Beanie's Coffee from my brother, and as a huge matcha fan, I was immediately intrigued when he told me they had a banana matcha! I love trying different matcha drinks, so of course I had to go give it a try. When I first went, it was pretty empty, so I was able to order really quickly--which I loved because I'm not a fan of waiting around, although who is?! The person working was super friendly and actually took the time to go over the menu with me, which I really appreciated. I ordered the Banana Pudding Matcha and OMG... SO GOOD! It was seriously delicious. It even came topped with little vanilla wafers, which was such a cute touch and went perfectly with the drink. I loved it so much that I went back the very next day for another one! The second day they were much busier, but it was still totally worth the wait. Everyone working was super friendly and sweet. The Banana Pudding Matcha is definitely a MUST TRY if you're a matcha lover! I'm already looking forward to going back and trying more from the menu. Definitely recommend Beanie's Coffee!

Made a quick stop before heading on the road and found this little coffee shop. I tried the Biscoff Cookie Latte, and Banana Strawberry Smoothie. I wish the coffee was stronger but the taste of the cold foam was delicious! Staff were kind!
I like flavored lattes but not if they just taste like sugar. My go to here is the cookie butter latte, I literally take the lid off and suck all the cold foam off the ice and eat all the cookie pieces. The banana pudding vanilla latte is great too but I'm a slore for cookie butter. Today the fall flavors have launched and I got the pumpkin cookie butter latte. I'm trying not to chug like I'm at a tailgate party. My only complaint is that I didn't know this place existed until their one year anniversary.
I ordered the Banana Pudding Matcha and it was amazing! Sometimes adding a non-dairy milk on a speciality drink can make it a bit lackluster, but I ordered it with oatmilk and it was delicious! The shop is small but inviting, definitely a place I can see myself getting some work done or chatting with friends! I hope to be back soon!
don't usually go for the sweet coffee treat situation... but this one got me. Had the caramel cold brew with banana cold foam and yeah... this thing slapped. Balanced, not overly sweet, and the banana actually worked way better than I expected. Could've easily gone artificial or heavy and it didn't. Just smooth, clean, and honestly kind of addictive. Nice reminder that when these drinks are done right, they really hit. Would absolutely get it again.

This was my second time going to Beanies, and they seriously have some really good drinks! The first time I went, I tried their banana pudding matcha latte, and it was by far the best. I honestly think they have some of the best matcha drinks around. The flavor was smooth, perfectly balanced, and not overly sweet. On my second visit, I tried the raspberry cheesecake drink. The cheesecake topping was so creamy and delicious, it added the perfect rich touch to the drink. Definitely a spot I'll keep coming back to!

NEW STOP COFFEE SHOP! Absolutely amazing service! They went above and beyond to make me a seasonal drink that wasn't even on the menu anymore. It's rare to find customer service like this. The coffee was delicious, and the kindness made my day. I'll definitely be back!

The first time, we didn't realize they aren't open in the mornings; we showed up around 9am but they did not open until around lunchtime. The second time, they happened to be temporarily closed for a few days and we didn't know until seeing a sign on the door. Right around that time, they actually changed their hours to be open earlier in the mornings! On the third try, we finally made it in and got to order some coffees. The shop is located inside another store which makes it feel like a hidden gem. I was going to order a different drink but once I read the raving reviews about their banana pudding matcha and how it was their best seller, I knew I had to try it. This drink was incredible!! Not something I typically would've ordered but I was very impressed. The banana flavor didn't taste artificial, it actually tasted like real banana mixed into the drink. The matcha had a perfect level of sweetness without being too bitter or overpowering the banana. You could taste both flavors equally and they completed each other well. I was so happy with this experience and can't wait to try more of their fun specialty flavors!

If you haven't been to Beanie's Coffee inside Hype Tea Market yet, you are seriously missing out! The vibe is incredibly welcoming, the owner and staff are friendly and helpful. The drink menu is completely unmatched in Reno, with Biscoff Lattes, Lemon Bar Matcha, and Frescas con Crema. You absolutely have to get the Banana Pudding Matcha Latte. It is made with real bananas and topped with crumbled Nilla wafer cookies. It tastes just like a banana cream pie but balances perfectly with their high-quality matcha. It is smooth, rich, and not overly sweet. They also have a coffee version. If your looking for decaf coffee unfortunately they dont carry it. Hopefully soon! I do love that they have cold foams to top off your drinks. And carry alternate milk options like almond and oat milk. We also ordered the Banana Cabana cold brew off of the Summer Special menu. Super tasty!!! Everything here is crafted with care, making it an absolute must visit spot. Cannot wait to go back. Our new favorite coffee shop in Reno! read more

I was so excited to finally get to try Beanie's Coffee while in Reno. We found it easily and there was tons of parking. We were immediately greeting when we walked in. We ordered the Banana Pudding Vanilla Latte and Cookies & Cream Smoothie. We timed it just right cause as we were waiting for our drinks the line grew and grew. There's some tables inside to sit and enjoy your drinks. We even played a few games of Connect Four while we waited. The Banana Pudding Vanilla Latte was good. The pudding part was amazing. I needed a small spoon!!! However, the Cookies & Cream Smoothie was lacking. It didn't have much flavor but a lot ice. I'd love to try some other drinks next time we're in town. read more

Tucked inside a clothing store in the Costco strip mall you'll find a specialty coffee shop that you can't miss! I've gotten only Matcha here and it's good quality! I had the same sever both times, and he's very friendly and quick at putting out these drinks! you can tell he puts a lot of pride into what he does read more

I got the vanilla matcha. It's a super cute store. The vanilla in the matcha clearly wasn't made in the store. The syrup tasted really artificial so it made the whole matcha taste really underwhelming. read more

Beanie's is a great hidden coffee gem in Reno, I honestly wouldn't have known about it if it wasn't for my fiancé. The staff are friendly and welcoming and have always been genuine and sincere for the last 3 times we've been there. This small coffee shop is tucked away in the Hype Tea Market, but the ambiance suits the energy well. Lastly, but most importantly the coffee is delicious, this is probably the best banana matcha I've ever had, it's not too milky and watered down like what Dutch Bros and Starbucks are serving, you can genuinely taste the banana and matcha. I'm not sure if they're actually blending an actual banana instead of using powdered versions of it, but it makes a whole world of difference. Highly recommend everyone to give location a try! read more

Amazing coffee they get their beans locally! The matcha is the best in town the Banana Pudding Coffee or Matcha is easily one of my favorite drinks ever! They use real bananas for the pudding! I'd definitely recommend that every time! The service is great too! They are very welcoming and greet you soon as you walk in! The ambiance is different. Nice big open space good amount of seating and they sell vintage clothes and Pokemon cards! read more

Just ordered the mi amor chai and it's phenomenal!!! Before I received my drink the server told me they accidentally missed an ingredient so they went ahead and remade it. Other coffee shops I've been to would have just sent it without saying anything so I really appreciated their honesty. Will definitely recommend! read more
