Human Bean is just okay for me. The service felt a bit lacking during my visit -- almost like I was bothering the barista, which made the experience less enjoyable. The menu itself is small, but the hidden menu is huge. They display a few drink ideas, from teas to coffees, and they have tons of flavor options... but you can't find them anywhere unless you search online. It would be so helpful if they had the full list available in-store. Prices are average. I ordered a cold brew and wasn't a fan -- the chocolate-covered espresso bean on top was honestly the most exciting part. The granitas are probably the only reason I come here anymore. Visited this place on a Saturday morning. We ordered Mocha and carmel cappuccino. Mocha was very food and flavourful. Caramel cappuccino was okay, it wasn't very flavourful. We got ourselves cream cheese bagels and those were good. There are a couple of tables outside where we decided to sit and sip on our coffees. The Human Bean is an on the go coffee spot branch in Reno with many locations across the area! I've always had good service at every stand I've been to. The coffee stand is small and is a drive-thru. I think they may also have walk up but I've never done that before. No indoor seating like a coffee shop. My go-to drink is the Mexi Mocha (iced) and I always recommend this drink to my friends who never know what to get. Unfortunately, every other drink that I've gotten from here is always watered down and that has strayed me from getting anything else apart from my usual. The good thing about the mexi mocha is that it is consistent. Of course, the best thing about this coffee spot is the chocolate covered espresso bean that comes with every drinks - it's their signature touch. I usually get a pretty simple drink, almond milk latte or cold brew, so it's not so tricky - hard to mess up. Well today, they did and I was so sad - that cold brew was big and supposed to be my 'lunch' or at least get me through the last couple of hours of work. Instead of cinnamon I requested, they added lots of sugar, and I can't have sugar. Blegh. $7 down the drain...I wish I hadn't tipped.
