I might have hit this location at a particularly good time, but it was very restful and enjoyable to grab a quick bite here. Clean and bright with lots of seating indoors and out, overlooking an open area with a nice vista that also wasn't busy. Much nicer than some locations with greater accessibility but close to major roads and traffic noises. No drive-through, but plenty of parking in the adjacent shopping center (Raley's and Casa Grande). Food and drink are what you expect from Starbucks, along with a range of some seasonal bakery. I particularly like their Impossible breakfast sandwich and spinach feta wrap. And great recommendation from staff for a matcha blend drink. Surprisingly, love the location as a great option for a tea break or quick bite. Will have to see how it is at a busier time as well! read more

Stopped in today for Grande iced chai latte. Came home and was curious to see if it was 16 ounces as Grande is advertised. You can see from the picture. It's just a touch over a cup, which as far as I know is 8 ounces. Maybe I'll try next time ordering it hot and see if it comes any closer. read more

This is my favorite Starbucks. The staff is so friendly and my interactions with them are so pleasant. The staff typically writes a nice little message or adds a drawing to my cup and that seriously brightens my day. The shop is always clean and the parking lot is easy to navigate. Say what you will about Starbucks but it's consistent and easy to place advanced orders for pickup, and sometimes that's enough to make a difference in your day. read more

Cinnamon dolce latte is my favorite Starbucks drink, but should only be consumed sparingly. It does have more sugar than I should have and the only bummer about Starbucks is the only Sugar Free flavor is their Vanilla. I do love the convenience factor of their mobile app for pick up in-store or drive thru. Weekend early morning training sessions with my trainer consists of me bringing breakfast and coffee to end our week. The Starbucks app makes it a quick stop and I'm able to get in and out and back to my life. I'm always on the go, so thank you for the friendly and prompt service. I have never had an issue with my order since using their app as opposed to an occasional hiccup ordering at the speaker. The setting is the same at every Starbucks I've ever been to whether here locally or out of town. They are consistent, I'll give them that. read more

I'm usually never in this area, but I want to stop by to get some Starbucks while I was over here for my doctors appointment Super calm place to come hang out and write or do work. They have their on parking lot and it's right across from the Raleys grocery store. The barista was super nice personable, similar to the other baristas I'm assuming at other Starbucks. They pass out stickers to little kids. The only downside was I was looking for one with a drive-through, but I'll survive. read more

Really friendly crew. Scott took care of me got me some coffee. Apparently they don't leave the cream and sugar out. I don't know if it's post Covid or what. But Scott put the perfect amount of cream in and everybody was really friendly. The question of the day here was who is the most famous person you have met. By far my favorite Starbucks location in Reno. Consistently fast and friendly service, with very easy access to parking. Many Starbucks parking lots are a nightmare, but not this one because they are in a large shopping center area. I almost exclusively use my mobile app to order and pay ahead of time. During COVID, the pick up experience between different Starbucks location has been frustratingly inconsistent. Some locations even make you stand in line to with people walking in to order because they keep prepared drinks behind the counter. This location has by are the BEST system! Right when you walk in the door they have an organization system. Your order ticket is placed in a bin with your name on it and when ready, they place the order there was well. Very impressive. Wish more locations would use this system. There are several Starbucks locations closer to my house but I will drive out of my way to visit this one because of the convenience and service. read more

This Starbucks is not my usual coffee stop since it's on the opposite direction of my home. My dentist office is across the complex so I will occassionally drop by here after my appointment. The store is clean and the baristas were always pleasant. I also found that most baristas here were happy to engage in a very short conversation rather than just taking my order which was always nice. The service has been pretty good and I never had to wait more than 10 minutes for a drink even on a busy hour. read more

The staff here is nice but also lazy. This is seriously what I got. I asked for a tall with lite ice. What I got was 3/4 of a tall full of ice. I don't wanna pay $5 for this. I have been to a lot of the Starbucks around Reno, Sparks, and Carson City area and I have to say that this location is one of the best. I went in yesterday looking for one of the drinkware cups that I had been wanting and finally found one at this location. The girl who was working the counter was so friendly and I really enjoyed being able to chat while waiting for my drink to be made. I noticed that all the staff seemed happy and had such positive energy. I came back again today to get another cup and the same girl was working and was training a new person too. She was just as helpful and friendly as yesterday and even though she was training she made a point of taking a couple minutes to chat and made me feel happy and welcomed in this store. The location has a lot of parking since it is located in a nice shopping center. The only downfall is this store closes at 6 pm which seems just a little early for a city like Reno but maybe at this location they do not get a lot of business in the evening. I do not mind driving a little out of my way to get such friendly service. read more

I never write reviews, but after the experience i had today, here i go.. I shop at this Starbucks daily. I always order a Venti sized iced matcha green tea latte with soy milk. After receiving my drink today, i tasted it and knew something was off. Don't get me wrong, presentation wise it looks like the real deal. But after a few sips, i noticed it had a weird flavor profile. Almost like jasmine green tea or lemonade was accidentally put in. I understand mistakes happen, but it's how the staff responded. My boyfriend goes in letting them know that the drink tastes off, and all they said was "It should be right." Uhm okay.. didn't offer to fix the problem. Just dismissed him. It's really off putting when you are a daily customer, who also tips for their drinks. This is my favorite drink, and i barely sipped this. $6 and going to the trash. I'll stick to South Meadows Pkwy. Wish your staff was a little nicer. read more

Had really good experiences here about 15 times, last time, I did my usual order of Cold Brew, Venti plus a 50 cent refill (which comps) all in one swoop. Cashier was having challenges, and tried to break into 2 transactions (which I never do or had to do) and it still keeps charging me for the refill, even though I have a gold card. She says I will get manager, takes a while for them to return, then manager was very unpolite and professional, telling me, "I am the manager, and I am telling you, YOU CAN'T DO This!" in very sharp tone of totally superiority and I was some kind of an idiot. I then reiterated I say this is how order (I don't say where, but here's a quick list of all the places I have ordered with NO PROBLEMS or SEVERE ATTITUDE: I80 McCarran, Kietzke, Lakeside, and even Caughlin - this location - last 2 visits) and she won't budge. It was a very tense uncomfortable situation and now the line behind he was becoming long and the customers waiting were looking at me like I was causing ordering traffic jam! I dealt with her before when I ordered through the app and had a problem, she wasn't pleasant then either, she's not someone who shows taking pleasure in serving the public, and likely need to be in another role. Anyways, she finally solves my problem gets my refill that is not charged due to gold card, and doesn't apologize, explain anything and or let me know it would be solved next time. I went to Kietzke today and everything went smooth as whip cream. I won't be going back to this location and I am sending this to corporate. read more

It really shocks and saddens me that this Starbucks is rated so low! I have been going to this Starbucks almost everyday since it's opening. Back in the earlier days, my grandmother and I would go before I would go to school and the baristas knew both of our names as well our drinks. Ken Whan was the manager for years and just recently retired. He had numerous articles in the paper about his phenomenal customer service which would make customers always come back to this location. Even though he is retired, this Starbucks still has a great reputation and those customers still come back because the baristas are still great. This location has a really nice patio space in the back and comfortable and open seating due to the large windows. Seriously people, this Starbucks is awesome! read more

This review is not for the quality of the product but for the customer service, or in their case- lack thereof. This Starbucks location continually has crappy customer service, and from the way it looks- it's all coming from one cranky bitch. I went in one morning to get a breakfast sandwich (Ham & Cheese Artisan sandwich with no egg)...and noticed that another type of sandwich had bacon on it. Mm, bacon...right? So I asked if bacon could be put onto my sandwich. The answer: No. Let me be clear, it wasn't the "no" that was the problem, per se. It was the snarky attitude of the woman behind the counter. It wasn't 'no sorry' or 'you'd have to purchase both sandwiches'..it was "No" with the implication and attitude that the answer is no because she'd rather go stick her chest out and flirt with that married man over there than dick around with something for me. I prodded as to WHY it couldn't be done, and got the *sigh* and even an *eyeroll* from the woman behind the counter. How STUPID of me for not knowing that the sandwiches comes pre-packaged, right? *slaps forehead* I totally forgot I worked for Starbucks last week! I pointed out that if egg could be taken OFF of a sandwich, then surely something could be put ON a sandwich. I also pointed out that I had no problem paying for the other sandwich so that the ingredients could be combined into one. Apparently a ham & bacon merger was imposssible for her. When, let's be clear - every other Starbucks is capable of doing what she is telling me she cannot do. I am the customer. I did not ask you for anything for free. If you have bacon in the building and I ask for bacon on something- then do your frickin' job and give me the damn bacon! If I ask for a Bacon Frappacino I expect you to start blending. I have no clue what this woman's issue was...maybe she needs to get laid because her bitchery was off the charts. So I grabbed my drink and told the manager at the time (who is now retired) that I would not be back. And I meant it. Until I went back. UGH. I got in a situation where it was either stop there for something, or starve til morning. Blah Blah blah I go in at 6:20pm and order my sandwich. Miss Stick-Up-Her-Butt was there and couldn't make my food because she'd turned the oven off. Um, WHY? Why did you turn off the oven 40 minutes before you're supposed to close? Simple. She wanted to leave and instead of serving customers she just turns off everything and turns people away. Lame. . . read more

5 Star customer service. I walk in and everyone on the afternoon shift knows my tea. First time I have ever had this kind of service. This afternoon I walked in and Sally asked if I found kittens to adopt. As we talked she made my tea without asking what I wanted. That is great service.
