Latte on the side bar at Stella Coffee
Daniel P.

Stella coffee was just what we were looking for. The latte was made fresh to order, and was delicious. It was 3 o clock and the cafe was still fairly busy. There weeee people studying and working off of laptops. The ambiance is nice with some cool art curations hung around. Service was very hospitable and friendly. Will come back next time I'm in midtown. :)

Love the location, love the decor and cleanliness of the shop, love the selection of food and drinks, love how friendly and accommodating the staff is. On the rare occasions when it's busy, parking can be a little limited, but all in all this is the kind of place that I'm personally looking for when I want to go out for a quick coffee and bite to eat. My bagel and cortado were good; I found the cortado more milky than rich hazelnutty/coffee-flavorful like I''m normally looking for, and the Asiago bagel I ordered was nicely toasted but there was hardly any Asiago on it, so it just seemed like a nice plain bagel. Judging on food alone this place is still a solid 4 stars, but the things I mentioned above put it over the top for me. Pricing-wise it wasn't cheap, but it wasn't astronomical either. That atmosphere was so nice and the creative food and drink options were so appealing that I can't wait to come back and try out other items on their menu.

Walking around Midtown Reno and spotted this coffee shop on the corner. We decided to stop in and check it out! We were immediately greeted as we walked in. After looking at the menu we decided on an Iced Apple Crisp Latte, Iced Pumpkin Spice Chai & Mini Cinnamon Rolls to snack on. They have both outdoor and indoor seating. We decided to sit inside and wait for our order. Everything was ready rather quickly. Both drinks tasted like fall in a cup! A little sweet for me but my little one loved her chai. They also have a shelf of games to play. We sat and played tic tac toe while enjoying our drinks. So fun! We'll be sure to come back next time we're in town!

Local coffee shop on Virginia midtown, locally roasted and brewed. Service was friendly and quick. Plenty of seating indoors and on front patio.

Cool lighting and groovy vibes.

In the espresso-rich paradise of Midtown, we were very happy to discover another real gem: Stella Coffee Company! With a clean and warm decor and a super friendly staff, we were impressed by their locally, roasted espresso shots that delivered deliciousness in the form of an iced mocha and hot latte with oat milk. This is an establishment that gets it right; beautifully executed with exceptional ingredients. Paired our beverages with a mini cinnamon bun that was fresh and delicious. Adding this to our list to satisfy that afternoon coffee visit!

The pastries looked terrific with so many freshly made choices available! The coffee choices are many especially at Christmas holiday time. I ordered the chai latte, dirty with a shot of espresso! Why not? Iris's is a specialty coffee shop! The service is friendly, proficient and professional. Kohn was the barista making the coffees and it was delicious! The ambiance is gutsy, cozy and comfy!

Normally would probably go to Perenn next door, but had a gifted drink here, and was so glad I did! Great overall experience. The oat milk chai was hands-down one of the best I've had in the area: not too sweet, with a nice blend of spices that doesn't get drowned out by the milk, and the oat milk isn't the kind that adds some bitterness. Pretty relaxed environment with just enough seating, and tables are comfortable with good space between them. My cheese jalapeno bagel wasn't spicy, but the texture was good. Friendly, quick service and some fun drinks to come back and try on the winter menu: banana bread latte, peppermint chocolate horchata. TIP: if there isn't parking in the few spots across the street, there's more close by on Tahoe.

One of my favorite coffee shops in town. Coffee and tea drinks are so good. Had a delicious London Fog today made with earl grey tea, sugar free vanilla syrup and coconut milk. Bagels, breakfast burritos, various toasts, pastries and breakfast sandos give you a nice selection to choose from. Service is the best here!

I ordered 4 drinks off their new seasonal menu and the savory and sour toast to split with my wife. So tasty! All the coffees hit perfectly in their own way, and the food was tasty, small yet satisfying. Thanks for the fast friendly service with the cozy atmosphere. Stop in if you are nearby and be delighted.

Bagels were delicious! I also recommend the Chai's, especially the pistachio and the pumpkin chai. The staff is very kind and attentive, short wait time despite it being busy.

Stella Coffee Company is a nice mellow cafe where you can chill inside to soothing music. Or they have a few tables outside. Coffee drinks, teas, sandwiches, bakery items, etc. Our barista was friendly and nice. Bees Knees: honey and lavender glimmer lemonade, garnished with lavender and sugar crystals (4/5). I liked my drink as it was light and refreshing. Not too sweet. The glimmer was cool to see. Though, personally, it was missing the lavender taste and also the garnish. My friend ordered the Cortado and it was good as expected (4/5). The baklava had mixed reviews. "It was good" or "I didn't like it because it was too moist". Good coffee place to relax and enjoy the day.

Felt so warm and welcoming upon entering and after a long morning of travel and airport/airplane bad coffee, first sip was absolute bliss. Best coffee we've had in ages. Thanks for the wonderful customer service and vibes.

Hands down, this is the best sandwich I've ever had in a two state radius…read more I ordered the Chicken Cheese Steak Sandwich with all the veggies on their fresh, in-house baked jalapeno cheddar cheese bread, and it was absolutely incredible. The bread was soft, fresh, and packed with flavor, while the chicken steak was perfectly cooked, juicy, and seasoned just right. Every bite was better than the last. My wife ordered the Cheese Steak Sandwich with no veggies and we both agreed these were some of the best sandwiches we've ever eaten. The staff made the experience even better. Everyone was welcoming, friendly, and genuinely seemed to care that customers had a great experience. The restaurant has a classic deli atmosphere that feels comfortable and inviting. The biggest compliment I can give is this: I'm already going back for the third time in one week because I can't stop craving that Chicken Cheese Steak Sandwich on the jalapeno cheddar bread. If you're anywhere near Full Belly Deli, do yourself a favor and stop in. You won't regret it.

To be fair I only tried one item, the Thai chicken wrap and it wasn't bad but it was a huge mostly cabbage presentation. Really there was very little chicken in it. I couldn't detect any peanut flavor in the Thai chicken sauce. Perhaps I should have tried a different item? The service was great, atmosphere was non existent, it's a bleak boring dining area. The only cool thing was the stickers on the front window. If I get back to Reno this place would be low on my return list. UPDATE: After receiving a message from the owner I plan to return to Full Belly Deli and try something different. It's tough to make a decision with the extensive menu and as I felt instinctively while there. The Thai Chicken Burritos wasn't the best choice especially when they may lots of breads in house. I'm sure I will be back within the next year, as soon as my client destroys the work I did on my last trip.

The staff is always nice and helpful. We like to ask for suggestions they are happy to help. One of my favorite sandwiches is the French dip on their Swiss and onion bread.. the beef is tender and not super fatty. The au ju is flavorful, not too salty and doesn't leave some coat of something on your tongue.. the swiss/onion bread works so so well with everything.. the flavor of the Swiss cheese goes well with the au ju. We've had a few different sandwiches. my fiancée loved the meatloaf one and we both love the recent weekly specials.. This week is the chicken curry salad sandwich and last week was the Carolina pulled pork.. I lost my mind with that one.. so so flavorful. I couldn't stop eating it. I forgot it was a weekly special and we got it on the last day. So so sad.. wish it was a regular on the menu.. They have a list of sandwiches but you can also make your own and choose which bread you want on any of them. The thing I love about them is you can order a half sandwich. Sometimes a full sandwich is a little too much and other times you just want a lite meal.. Cant wait to swe their next weekly special.

I will not be returning. The food was not the best to me. I love falafels but I've just had way…read morebetter. Now that's just my opinion about the food someone else might feel differently and that's ok. What really bothered me and the main reason I won't be giving this place a second chance is because of what happened while I was there. I'd never been here so decided to try it. We chose to sit in the court yard because even though there was trash and it wasn't clean and furniture was just stacked on top of each other in the corner of the entrance it was quieter for me then inside. And it looked ok plus it was a nice day to sit outside. Well even all that wasn't the problem. The part that bothered me was how a situation was handled. A homeless guy entered the courtyard and was really drugged and under the influence and he was covered in feces and he was very badly injured and was nodding off near me going in and out. He looked like he was going to overdose and then he wakes up and walks over to me and asks me for food. I said yes. Which I truly had no problem giving him food if that's what he needed. But his behavior left me and other uneasy feeling and so I had my knife out hidden just in case. A family of 10 was sitting next to us and felt so uncomfortable they went inside. So I go inside to order what the guy wanted and asked him to please wait on the side walk before I went in to order. So I get to the register and I explain to the cashier that there is a very drugged guy nodding off in the courtyard and that I didn't mind buying him food but could he give it to him and take the chance to tell him to please stay out of the courtyard and on the side walk. I explain I was disabled prier to this when I ordered for myself earlier and I am a 5"1 female and felt uneasy going back to the homeless guy alone. I asked the cashier if he could give the guy his food and ask him to please stay out of the courtyard and on the sidewalk. The cashier said no to me cause he didn't feel comfortable going up to a guy who was on drugs and acting the way he was. I told him another reason I had bought this guy food was so that he would wait outside which he did and this guy couldn't even do anything to help me. So your customer doesn't feel safe and you can't ask this person to please go on the sidewalk cause you are scared? Also i don't know what reason they have for not having the corner of the courtyard clean and trash picked up. This isn't my business and I did what I could to help since I saw the family feel uncomfortable and no one at THE FIX or any other restaurant there was doing anything? So if you don't care about a customers concerns I don't care to support you. I could honestly have overlooked the fact that it wasn't the best falafel I myself have ever had but I can't support a business who doesn't care about their costumers. Edited After speaking to someone at The Fix: I called to speak to someone about this. Apparently the guy has autism. Ok well then idk I'm disabled I have autism and I don't know what to say about that. I am not mad if this is the case but it doesn't change the experience I had. I am understanding being legally disabled myself but I wish i would of been able to speak to someone else about it who could of helped me with this concern. The guy I spoke to on the phone informed me I could have spoken to any of the businesses as there are multiple and I could of asked any one else for help and they would of helped me. But I went to THE FIX NOT ANY OF THE OTHER ESTABLISHMENT. So I feel it was THE FIXs responsibility to help me since I was their customer. Well all that aside once again i dont know why the courtyard is dirty and there is trash and chairs and tables piled on top of each other in the corner of the entrance. Your courtyard is a really nice feature and maybe you guys should keep it nice and clean. Like I said it was nice outside but not clean. Go here if you'd like this was my experience and there for I won't be returning. Sorry but you can go check it out yourself if you wish.
