It is located at the West Street Market right next to The Pizza Collective, and there's free open seating. I liked their garlic fries paired with their homemade ranch. They are 100% vegan, for vegans. You carnivores, you're welcomed, in the doors. But it really wasn't built for you. The salads here are great. Generous, too. The lettuce was shredded (?) and the ratios were exact, until I asked for extra bacon (which shockingly tastes a little like real bacon). One of our people ordered the falafel salad (always go light on the tahini or get it on the side) and was totally satisfied. The Falacos were extremely spicy but delicious. Be cautious. If you love buffalo chicken, be certain someone at the table orders the BBC. Make sure you taste it, then kick yourself all night for not ordering it yourself. But don't. A half hour before u you leave, order one to-go, heat it up the next day. The ingredients co- mingle in the fridge and taste BETTER reheated (provided you know the proper way to reheat a wrap). As I mentioned, this place is 100% vegan. Some items are tasty substitutes for the real thing and some things don't quite make it. You'll have to determine for yourself. I myself enjoyed the carne asada fries even though they were over spiced. Most things here have too much spice. The seaweed fries weren't for me. I really love the layout and the overall ambiance. We came to The Fix during our moving road trip. This was our second choice because our first choice was closed, but the food was excellent and I would recommend it! Its location had a funky, hip vibe, that I'd definitely bring friends to if I had friends in Reno. We got there close to closing so it was quiet, but they happily took our order. The menu was creative and had options for everyone without being overwhelming. The person at the register also helped us decide, which was kind of him! We ordered the Falaco Fries, the Chicken Shawarma, and a Firestarter sandwich (I think this was the name). This was too much food -- they serve generous portions and the food is filling. The Falaco Fries were some of the best fries we've ever had, and I've never had anything like this elsewhere! Would recommend. The chicken shawarma took our review from a 5 to a 4. We didn't think it was very flavorful compared to the other items. That said, it wasn't bad, and it was cool to have shawarma as a vegetarian. The Firestarter sandwich was delicious. Their food is so yummy and 100% vegan. I've tried nearly their whole menu and I've never been let down. I got the falafel wrap today which is a very generous portion of food and so tasty. However, the one thing I keep coming back to is the chicken tacos. I can't quite figure it out but something about these super soft tacos with shredded lettuce, cheese, chicken, tomatoes and crema really takes me back to my childhood. Every time I eat the tacos I think this will be the time I figure out what they remind me of, but so far no luck. It's such a simple meal but it really resonates with me. SO good! I could see parking being difficult potentially but we found street parking right at the entrance which was great. The staff were super down to earth and nice. It's a cool little spot, hard to find, because there isn't a sign from the street. So make sure to park and walk around there. My husband and I decided to drop in here for lunch. We are regulars to West Street Market and were looking forward to trying the "new kid on the block". So glad we did. To start off neither of us are even close to being vegetarian let alone being vegan but the items we tried made our omnivore taste buds very happy. We came away quite satisfied. Formerly a food truck in the Reno area, The Fix has taken over where Nom Eats once was inside West Street Market, and has become a local staple for the definition of vegan junk food. Their menu comprises of wraps, tenders, fries, salads, and more all American goodness. They incorporate a lot of faux meat as well as classic falafel items that were a hit. We ordered their Steak & Egg Burrito, the Falafel Salad, and their BBC Fries. The burrito portion was generous and loaded with seitan steak, a tofu scramble, and pico. Everything about it was definitely hearty. I also really enjoyed the Falafel Salad although I wish there had been more veggies to add to the mix. Lastly, their BBC (bacon, buffalo chicken) fries were as loaded as you can imagine with all the fixings to make it a great sharable dish. Fries were definitely on the saltier side. We came for opening day at their brick and mortar space, and let me tell you, still amazingly delicious. The crew came rolling in after a day in the earth day sun and were told the wait would be at least an hour. Cool! We can wait because we will just order a pizza to snack on and drinks at the pizza collective. We ordered all of our favorites and tried out the bbc. We frequent the food court area that The Fix is located in, and have seen their tasty looking food in passing, but have never tried it until recently. We decided to stop by and get pick ip at our usual place but also a few items here to try. We started with the vegan teriyaki wings and absolutely loved them. The skin was a little crispy and chewy on the outside, with soft "chicken" on the inside. There was even a fake bone inside to imitate real wings, a wooden dowel of sorts you just pulled out. We also tried the BBC fries- Buffalo chicken, bacon, and lots of great toppings. They lacked much of the meat topping, but they were flavorful and delicious. What really stood out to us was how well flavored and yummy the fries were even without the dressings and toppings. On their own they were some dang good fries. We of course got ranch to go with the wings, vegan and house made, and it was immaculate. Ranch is one of my favorite dressings, but can be done wrong so easily. They killed it here. I'm vegetarian and my boyfriend eats meat, so for both of us to love it was a huge win. We'll certainly be back for a lunch soon. read more

One of the best 100% vegan menus in town! They're located in the West Street Market and parking can be a challenge, but the parking garage is just steps away. I love how the menu is 100% vegan. My brother is vegan, and it is relieving for him not to worry about which dish is vegan/substituting like at other restaurants! The Fix is located in West Street Market, which I didn't know existed really until I arrived. I was able to see the sign in the courtyard through the fence so I knew I was in the right place! I didn't have trouble finding a parking spot during lunch on a Sunday, but I can see it being difficult during other peak times. I'm really happy that the Fix has a permanent location now because this is some of the most well executed plant based snack food I've ever had. All of their "meat" and "cheese" alternatives are not only delicious, but the textures are really great too. You almost can't tell that they aren't really made of animal matter. Their menu is fun and creative and there's lots of options for everyone. The only thing I would change about the carne asada fries is to add more sauce, mine were a little bit dry. But the fire starter is creamy and spicy and rich and a really good sandwich. The service style is a little more lackadaisical so just be prepared for that, it took a while to get to order and we waited about 20 minutes for our food, although they were pretty busy on a weeknight. There's plenty of seating in West Street Market even when they are busy and you can enjoy the outdoor patio as well. Overall this is a great option for plant based eats and I'm pretty confident that you can't really go wrong with any of their menu items at a pretty reasonable and affordable price. read more
