My only feedback is that the items don't all clearly describe what you get or how the dish comes, and so I added sauces thinking they came on the side but really came on top, and paid upcharges for things like pita, thinking they didn't come with it but then finding out they did and I just added a lot of extra. I ordered a few shawarma plates, an Aladdin combo, and hummus, falafel, and babaganoush appetizers. Everything was delicious, but some items were a bit surprising. The hummus is was a bit on the loose side, and we actually thought it was tahini from the look, aroma, and flavor. My guess is the batch was made with a bit more tahini than normal. Still good, but surprising. The Aladdin's Combo didn't look as pictured on the website, where it looks like a very sizable portion of meat, with chicken in a reddish marinade. Though the chicken looked similar to shawarma, it was clearly different in flavor, and both it and the koobideh were delicious. I ordered extra meat and had expected it to be outrageously large based on the menu photo of the standard order, but what came was more similar to the photo itself. It was still plenty to share, but I paid additional and didn't seem like I got that much more. The regular portions here are large, like easily feed two people sized. We ordered one plate per person, but in reality could've split them all. Again, I love this spot and chalk this up to learning. I think some folks could get frustrated with this experience, and I def did to an extent, but I enjoy this too much to gripe.

The kataifi, which both my grandmother and mother used to make. It was as mouth-wateringly delectable as I remember. Not overly sweet. The slightly sticky crunch will live in my dreams forever. Eventually, our server came to our table but never apologized for the long wait or acknowledged that we'd been sitting there unattended. By then, the experience had already left a bad impression. I was there with my husband and our three boys, and it was difficult trying to explain why we seemed to be the only table being ignored. Will we come back? NO I'm sure this restaurant has plenty of customers and won't miss one family, but every guest deserves to feel welcomed and valued. A simple greeting or apology would have gone a long way. As for the food, it was good. But good food alone doesn't make up for poor service or for making guests feel like they don't belong. But his behavior left me and other uneasy feeling and so I had my knife out hidden just in case. A family of 10 was sitting next to us and felt so uncomfortable they went inside. So I go inside to order what the guy wanted and asked him to please wait on the side walk before I went in to order. So I get to the register and I explain to the cashier that there is a very drugged guy nodding off in the courtyard and that I didn't mind buying him food but could he give it to him and take the chance to tell him to please stay out of the courtyard and on the side walk. I explain I was disabled prier to this when I ordered for myself earlier and I am a 5"1 female and felt uneasy going back to the homeless guy alone. I asked the cashier if he could give the guy his food and ask him to please stay out of the courtyard and on the sidewalk. The cashier said no to me cause he didn't feel comfortable going up to a guy who was on drugs and acting the way he was. I told him another reason I had bought this guy food was so that he would wait outside which he did and this guy couldn't even do anything to help me. So your customer doesn't feel safe and you can't ask this person to please go on the sidewalk cause you are scared? Also i don't know what reason they have for not having the corner of the courtyard clean and trash picked up. This isn't my business and I did what I could to help since I saw the family feel uncomfortable and no one at THE FIX or any other restaurant there was doing anything? So if you don't care about a customers concerns I don't care to support you.
