The staff was welcoming and efficient. I have never eaten here before and was pleasantly surprised! I had the chicken breast bowl with rice and veggies. We arrived at the movie theater a little early so we decided to get some lunch. I ordered the large so it would be enough for me and my two little kids. We waited for at least 15 minutes before the food was brought to us. The young lady at the register was quiet but friendly. I thought maybe it took so long because the food was made to order but the chicken was warm not hot. The veggies were hot, though, so maybe that's why it took so long. I'm giving three stars because the star of the show, the chicken teriyaki, was a little dry and hard, which should not be the case for dark meat! I think it's a great idea to grill the chicken but there were a few pieces that were charred black and inedible. The rice was okay. The best part of the dish was the veggies! They were cooked yet still fresh and a tad crunchy. I enjoyed the mix of cabbage, broccoli, onion, zucchini, and grated carrot. The overall value of the meal was okay. It was $17 including a bottle of water and tip. I would not go out of my way to eat here, but I appreciate the effort, veggies, and sriracha on the tables. read more

The only reason I'm giving two stars is because I placed an online order 30 mins prior to picking up my order for a curbside pick up once I got there and it said my order was complete. I sat waiting for my food for 10 to 15 minutes before I had to call the actual store and let them know that I'm waiting outside for my food the reply I got was oh I'm sorry it's right here. I'm just really busy.... so I don't know what the point of curbside pick up is if staff has no time to bring it out to the customer once I got my food. I was missing a sauce that I ordered so I had to get out of my car anyway and go get the missing item that I had paid for I would not recommend curbside at this place. The food is always good, but the customer service was very lacking in my experience today. Better communication would have been great because my phone number was on the order. If I knew I was going to have to get out of the car I would've dressed accordingly. read more

Friendly staff and food was pretty good but it wasn't what we expected. It's made after you order so it takes a long time and options are limited. My husband and I came here last night for dinner before seeing a movie at the theater conveniently located next door. It was nighttime when we arrived and we weren't sure if they were open because the place looked a little dark from the outside. But we learned it is open every day from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. and it was quite a bit brighter once we were inside. I ordered a large Spicy Tofu Teriyaki bowl with veggies and white rice. My husband had the Teriyaki Salmon with veggies and white rice. There wasn't a "large" size offered on the menu for the salmon but the nice guy behind the counter said he could make it large, no problem (it ended up costing around $4 more than the regular size). We sat down in a booth and, though it wasn't crowded, we noticed that the place had a regular flow of customers coming through the doors - mostly for to-go orders. We also noticed that the friendly guy behind the counter had a good rapport with every single customer, including us! When he brought our food over, he asked if he could bring us some spicy sauce (which made my heat-loving husband happy). Their portion size was very generous and we even had enough for leftovers! We liked both of our choices but felt the veggies could have been a little more flavorful. When we were done, I asked the guy at the counter about the tofu. I really liked how it was prepared - crunchy and spicy! My husband told him he doesn't even like tofu (true story) but he liked theirs. The guy said they have a specific amount of time that the tofu is fried - it can't be any less or any more because then it would not taste right. He said it is a very popular dish (I overheard other customers picking it up with their orders) and many people ask how it is made but it is a "secret" recipe. read more

This is for delivery only. I ordered the two protein bowl with steak teriyaki and chicken teriyaki with white rice. I opted out for no veggies. The large size is really big, it's almost 2 meals in 1. This was my first time trying this spot and I was pleasantly surprised. The chicken and steak were both very flavorful and tender with a perfect char on them. The rice was perfectly cooked. I really liked the teriyaki sauce that was included as well. Definitely ask for extra sauce. They give you the options of white rice, brown rice, or for an up charge you can get fried rice or noodles. They also have great protein options for your bowl. I really enjoyed my meal from here. The iced tea machine has no issues now but beware the tea is highly lemon flavored. Not good for me. We also got steak teriyaki with orange chicken this time and that steak is NO GOOD! The dining room is no frills, offering a few booths and a handful of tables - usually showing FailArmy on the wall mounted TV. The menu is simple, offering a variety of teriyaki bowls with a short list of customizable options. You can make it a meal with a fountain drink and edamame. Teriyaki Madness is a five star Japanese Asian fusion experience. I found this fantastic new restaurant next to the movie theatre in South Reno. A clean and upscale restaurant now owned by Jose and Lenny Mejia. These new proud owners just started their restaurant ownership in November of 2022. They care about the quality of the fresh hot food they serve to their customers. They are open 7 days a week from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm. I came in for a late lunch and when I left there was a line of customers waiting to order. I'm so happy to have found this Japanese Asian Fusion treasure. They also have online orders and catering. Yum! 4-stars for the bowls themselves, +1 star for the speed of service. We ordered takeout at the counter, and they said be prepared to wait ten minutes, but our order was out in 5-6 minutes! Came here as a recommendation from a friend. I ordered thru yelp which was my first mistake. YELP UPCHARGED ME OVER $5 to order online and pick up myself. Shame on you yelp. It's teriyaki chicken and steamed rice/veggies. Nothing special. Cooked fine but also not something I couldn't find elsewhere at any of the other teriyaki joints.. I deducted stars because I felt slighted. I spoke to the manager and he was empathetic but he also did nothing to appease me when I explained I think it's unfair that I was upcharged a significant amount of money. Yes, I know it's not in his control but being a manager for many years I always try and do SOMETHING to make the customer feel better if they aren't happy even if it costs the business a few bucks... because I know I would gain loyalty by doing so. Customer service is not really what it used to be in general and today was just another example of that. Got Delivery. Never have high expectations for these Fast Food Teriyaki joints but it has a high score on Uber Eats so decided to give it a try. Got two of the 2-protein bowls. One chicken breast and tofu teriyaki the other chicken and beef or excuse me, chicken and STEAK. Chicken breast was way overcooked and dry as hell. (I guess the philosophy is better to overcook instead of juicy at the risk of looking undercooked?) The beef, I mean "steak," was low-quality, sliced super thin, oversaturated with sauce, and also overcooked but will definitely give you your sugar & salt fix. And of course if you need more Teriyaki Heroin, the highly touted free sauce can be dumped all over your meal so it doesn't really matter if the food underneath is that good or not. Amount of chicken and beef was average at best. They didn't skimp on the tofu. Veggies were overcooked and 80% cabbage, one piece of broccoli and 2 or 3 slivers of carrots. You need to pay $2+ extra for all brocolli and I guess carrots must be really expensive. LOL. At $16+ a bowl, you're way better off getting a burrito bowl at a place like Chiplotle or Qdoba getting a tastier, healthier meal for less money. If you're a Teriyaki addict then dining in and taking advantage of any lunch special if they have one may get you a better experience I'm guessing. 3 stars = just "OK" for a $16 bowl. They're capitalizing I think on the fact there's not a lot of other Teriyaki Pushers to compete with in the area. read more

To preface, I ordered Teriyaki Madness through DoorDash. I ordered the Chicken Teriyaki Combo, with an eggroll, and a diet Pepsi. The eggroll was pretty good! It has some good crunch and I felt like the filling was very tasty. I ordered my bowl as a 'Power Bowl' so I had all veggies underneath the meat. I'm unsure if juices from the chicken had leaked out or if the veggies were cooked in water. Regardless, they were pretty meh. I liked the broccoli but the cabbage/carrot combo tasted water logged and lacked luster. The meat itself was delightful! It had some charred taste and the chicken was not overcooked or dry whatsoever! I'd actually gotten extra chicken in mine and overall, that made the bowl very filling. I think next time I would probably stick to something safe like white rice and the extra chicken. Overall, my meal from Teriyaki Madness was good. Not sure if I will order again but I'd recommend it to friends who are curious, just with caveats. read more

Not all days are home runs. Decided to roll the dice and stray from my normal awesome chicken bowl and try out the salmon bowl. The salmon bowl has a pretty small filet, tastes a bit over-processed. Would highly suggest another supplier to source the salmon from. Just wasn't my jam, but still love the place. Edamame, always on point. Staff was excellent as usual! Might want to wipe down the tables and seats that have been blocked off for use, they are looking a little ripe when the sun sets. Pretty thick layer of dust/lint. On 8/9/25 I asked for a chicken teriyaki bowl with broccoli, carrots and zucchini . We also ordered egg. Rolls x2 and pot stickers, another large bowl with no veges, extra chicken. The bowl I ordered had no other veges, except cabbage, which I asked for NO cabbage or onions. I Asked for the bowl to be fixed, it took forever. Now all the food is cold. We left, only to get almost home and we noticed there were no egg rolls in the bag. So we returned to get our egg rolls. When we got home, there were onions with the veges. We have eaten there several times however the last 3 times the orders have either been wrong and there have been missing items. Management needs to be there overseeing what's happening.
