Nikos Salad with side of tzatziki sauce
    Ian M.

Fantastic meal in Spanish Springs! Isabel, over server was so personable and wonderful on our first visit to their restaurant. She was intimately familiar with the menu options and suggested some great dishes! Their tzatziki sauce was amazing as was their Gyro meat! The place is simply decorated with lots of great pictures from their travels to Greece. Also the long ledge is adorned with Best of Awards won over the years. If in Reno, it's worth the drive for the great food and service! If you live in Spanish Springs, you're so lucky to have this place so close...!

Popped in for a quick lunch after weekend shopping. My husband liked the lamb gyro and the kids enjoyed the fresh made pita and hummus. Service was friendly and our food came out quickly.

Honest dine in review: 5/5 amazing hospitality paired with authentic flavors in a delicious cuisine! I've been here 3 times since taking this picture and every time... I'm more impressed from the last, I've had maybe 1 4 star experience, and that was simply because I wanted more tzatziki.... But... that's just being picky, so. Giving credit where it's deserved. I was impressed this most recent time when I was shown my food before leaving, and asked for more tzatziki and the gal delivered with amazing customer service and just genuine care! Couldn't ask for much more from a take home experience but let's walk through the souvlaki! -Downtown souvlaki: 5/5 Let me start with I LOVE the restaurants selection of fries that's paired with this dish, as well as the fresh veggies; this plate gives it all to you!!! A chicken that's authentic and flavorful! Fries that give you that feeling of, I want healthy, but I don't want TOO healthy as they're paired with fresh veggies... add a creamy tzatziki to the mix, and you have yourself a flavor profile that just makes you smile as you go in for another bite! Fresh tomatoes make Greek food so much better, and this dish is typically my go to! Only once I wanted more tzatziki, but if you feel you need more, just ask when they show you the food. The restaurant is always lively from when I've come in, always welcomed very warmly and endearingly and I love the hospitality that's presented which is why I've frequented this restaurant a couple times since this picture. Every time I've come, it's only gotten better! Give them a try :)

Best Gyro in Northern Nevada by far! I grew up in Chicagoland with many gyro shops and all the diners were Greek owned. When I moved out here I was bummed to not find anything similar to what I grew up with. Looks like I just needed to explore Sparks a little more! This family restaurant has been around for a long time. They have affordable prices. The decor is very Greek and reminds me of the shops back home. I dined in. They do have a waitress. I was surprised to see every table full when I walked in. That's a sign of a good locals lunch spot! The food came quickly. The items are mostly a la carte so if you want fries you'll have to add them on, but the gyro is plenty of food as is.

YUM! I stopped in for a quick takeout lunch and was so impressed. Clearly this place has a rich family history and they take real pride in their food and the restaurant. Watching regular customers come in and get a hug from the host was so special. The food was DELICIOUS. Just the right amount of tzatziki, fresh raw onion and tomato, juicy and slightly crispy lamb on a fluffy toasted pita. The Dolmathes are served warm with feta and onion. So so delicious. I ate it in the car because I couldn't wait to get it home. Halfway through eating I realized I needed pictures because I absolutely had to write a review.

Lamb and beef gyro and lemon chicken soup
    Jennifer M.

This place is A-OK! Their gyro is tasty but lacking vegis and yogurt sauce. Their lemon, chicken, and rice soup also seems to be missing something. --It could use some other ingredients aside from the rice in it. Their chicken is slightly on the dry side for their entrees. Drink options are fountain and bottled, but nothing fresh. Parking isn't too difficult, but the seating is limited. This place will satisfy your Greek cravings but can certainly be better.

Really cute restaurant located in a strip mall with plenty of parking. Very friendly service and loved their menu. We had the Greek salad, lemon chicken plate and chicken skewer plate. Both plates come with soup and we had the lemon egg soup and lentil. Everything was great but I loved the salad and the skewers most-so flavorful and well prepared. Definitely will be back and worth a visit if you've never been there.

Amazing, If I could eat here everyday I would. I always get a mixed gyro with beef and lamb. Great food, great customer service and for a reasonable $$. The best Greek food in town.!!!

Best gyros in town and I love that it is such a family business. Definitely feels like a hole in the wall. My husband and I aren't huge Greek food people but once in a while when we get the itch, this is where we go. I get the chicken gyro and the chicken is always tender. The flat bread is always soft and fresh. The sauce which I am assuming is homemade is so delicious. The veggies always crispy. The service though is what really makes this place feel homey and wonderful. Restaurant is always clean although it is small so you aren't always guaranteed a spot inside. Something to consider if you're trying to dine in.

Favorite takeout spot for Greek food!!! Staples are all crowd pleasers, especially the falafel and grape leaves. Fast-casual atmosphere inside and small patio area out front make a quick stop for lunch comfortable as well. Friendly service at the counter!

Each dish is from a different country, and I think they have a few specials that are more traditional plates. I love west African and Caribbean food, and Reno is severely lacking in both of these options, so it was very welcome to see some options from these locations. I got a rice bowl with Senegalese Mafffe. The food came out fast, and was very good, just the right amount of spice, and killer flavors. The pricing is very fair ($12 for a high quality dish). The portions were a little small, but that's probably a good thing. My biggest complaint is that it has scratched an itch I forgot I had, and now I want a more full fleged West African food experience.

The real dealbreaker, however, was the customer service. When ordering, we asked to add onions to the wraps. We were told, "the servings are already weighed out and prepped so we can't add onion." Fair enough. We then asked, "Can we just get a side of onions?" The two staff members simply stared at us and replied, "No, we can't do that because then we'll have to cut the onion." Even after offering to pay for the side of onions, they flat-out refused, simply because they didn't want to prep them. I would understand if they said they didn't have onions but that was never expressed by staff. I always like trying new places, but I will not be coming back here.

When visiting Reno, I highly encourage anyone that is looking for a delightful and relaxing lunch…read morespot to definitely check out "Süp". Located directly on S. Virginia St and adjacent to St. Lawrence Ave in the heart of the Midtown neighborhood of Reno, Süp has served up delicious and healthy sandwiches, salads, and soups dating back to 2007. This place has been on my radar for quite some time and I finally got to experience what it was all about. Since this is in a fairly busy commercial part of town, it can be a bit tricky to find parking. However, we were able to park only a block away and this was during the afternoon on Thursday 7/2/2026 at around 12:15pm. After making the short way to the business, I absolutely loved the exterior aesthetics and layout were represented. The business itself mimics a house complete with a large front patio area that actually snakes around to the side of the house for the more comfortable Reno days. The wooden tables with plastic chairs and covered tents to shield off the sun were a very nice touch. The inside also offers very generous indoor seating complete with ample space for a single person, a couple, or a family. Their menu are digitally presented on LED TVs complete with some of their specials that are handwritten on a chalkboard. My lady and I both decided to order sandwiches to get our fuel and energy for the day. I went with their "Char-Grilled Steak Baguette"; this came complete with their bistro steak drizzled with chimichurri sauce and topped with caramelized onions, New York white cheddar & sharp cheddar cheese and served on a cheddar poppy seed baguette. My lady went with their "Reno Deli"; this offered salami, pepperoncini & pesto layered with spinach, tomatoes, provolone cheese, and aioli on toasted sourdough bread. Both of our sandwiches came with a side house salad. Once given our number (we got Tahoe St), we decided to sit outside and take full advantage of the weather (as it was a perfect 78°F). What I particularly like is that the ambiance is the perfect vibe for daydreaming, people watching, and enjoying the simplicity that a city like Reno offers. Both our sandwiches arrived in roughly 10 minutes and were presented on white porcelain plates. My sandwich was made to perfection as the cheddar baguette securely held the fillings quite nicely. There was a lot of seasoned steak as the other sauces were not too overpowering. And considering the size of this, it got me quite full as I wasn't hungry until much later in the day. I will say that if you're looking for a reputable small business that offers healthy fresh ingredients, excellent customer service, amazing ambiance in a very desirable area of Reno, I highly recommend giving "Süp" a try. Their selection of salads, sandwiches, bowls, and soups are all wonderful choices as they focus on farm-fresh ingredients. And if time allows, I highly encourage everyone to eat here as I felt right at home during my 45-minute stay. Keep in mind that they are closed on Sunday but are open Monday through Saturday from 11am-9pm. With that said and done, I am giving Süp a perfect five-star review.
