Carne asada fries and double jalapeño cheeseburger

My husband and I got the carne asada fries and double jalapeño cheeseburger. I've been in Nevada for 3 years and this burger was the most delicious and flavorful one I've had so far. So yes highly recommend it

April 5, 2017 Wednesday - 12:30 PM for lunch 1 Adult Atmosphere - 4 stars Food - 4 stars Service - 4 stars Background - Saw that they would be near the office. Atmosphere - Beautiful afternoon to wait for your food to made. Truck had great menu placement to make selecting you item easy. Food - I had Sam's Insane Buffalo Wrap. No buffalo in this wrap, but chicken Buffalo wing style. A good amount of chicken in the wrap but the iceberg lettuce was not working for me. Some celery and carrots in the wrap would work great. The side salad was just iceberg lettuce and sliced carrots with dressing. Service - Friendly and face. Hard to see them from the angel you are at when ordering and receiving food. Future - Sure.

Straight Jacket, potato pancake, and Mac & cheese bites. The color green was noticeably absent.

This was an occassion where my curiosity outweighed my sensibilities. Trying new foods/places is not necessarily friendly to the waist line. If I'm going to try a place I want to experience one of their signature dishes not just a side salad. On this occassion, I was on my way to find some kind of sensible chicken salad or the like when I spotted this truck. These are gourmet wraps. I tried their Thai wrap once a few weeks ago as a healthier option/middle ground. This time I went with the Straight Jacket which is a bacon cheeseburger done as a wrap. I had the potato pancake as a side. And since I was already "all in" I tacked on some Fried Mac and Cheese bites. Yes...the effort to be more health conscious was thwarted by the convenience of the truck proximity. The good...Tasty..tasty...tasty food. The burger was huge. The potato pancake was nicely seasoned. The Mac Bites were fatty bliss. I mean it's Mac and Cheese...ultimate comfort food...but in this case it's fried too! The bad...I'm suffering from after lunch remorse. I had to let out a belt notch to accommodate this meal. I see a lot of time on my exercise bike tonight and throughout the week. While the burger parts were done well I found the wrap less appealong than a bun or a roll. I also missed the crunch of lettuce with each bite. While the wraps are a reasonable price tacking on an extra side like the Mac Bites is excessive in quantity and cost. However it may be a good option if splitting a meal with someone. The good news is the staff informed me all their wraps can be done as a salad. I will be stopping by again when they are around. I'm hoping it will be that nice mix of protein "tasty" goodness with the presence of healthy greens. Their wrap selection is diverse so it's worth giving this place a whirl. You'll find something you like.

You can build a bowl, salad, wrap, or anything in between. I was so impressed with the selection of toppings and proteins! You can do chicken, gyro meat, or beef, and load it up with all kinds of Mediterranean treats. I ordered a salad with chicken. The portion size is huge! I added feta cheese, cucumbers and tomatoes (those come together), peppers, Kalamata olives, and red onion. Then they allow you to choose a few sauces, and I went with cilantro sauce and a Greek vinaigrette. I was shocked by how fresh-tasting everything was, how huge the portion size was, and how affordable it was. This place is a game-changer, and I wish there were locations all over. The vibe isn't much, but grab some awesome food and take it to go or eat in the Joe. I haven't been a student at UNR for 7 years, but I literally told my wife we should go to campus just to eat here! I'm already thinking of my next meal at Garbanzo Mediterranean Fresh!

We got halfway through and I asked if they're out for the day or can I just wait for them to prepare the options and they said they're out for the day. How do you run out of so much at noon? By the end of my order I really didn't want it but felt like a jerk after they started making the food so just paid. I ended up with falafel, lettuce, pita and 2 veggie toppings. They offered fries as a substitute for the rice but the fries were just sitting on the counter looking cold and miserable. I passed.

The menu was plentiful with options from which I selected the ABC Croissant (avocado, bacon, chicken salad). It was quite good. The avocado was peak ripe and the croissant was soft. He ordered some turkey avocado sandwich. The bread was so tall I couldn't get my mouth around it to really try a bite, so I can't comment on that much. He really loved Tiramisu and it said hand made so we got it. It was good and very fat based creamy. As it should be! It could have used more espresso flavor though. I really wanted a panini, but decided to opt for more veggies. I got the sweet passion chicken salad becuase I like sweet things, and becuase salads out are always better than salads you make at home. I'd give it a 7/10. It was colorful and sweet and had lots of toppings. It left something to be desired though. (I had subbed blue cheese for feta). Service was fine and fairly quick for how busy it was. I've heard about this place from a few people. I just wasn't super impressed.

The sandwiches were much larger than expected, and were still nice and warm. Opened the bag to find each sandwich was wrapped and clearly labeled. The herb flavors were present in the Cuban, the pickles were mighty tasty offsetting the fat, and the vinegar in mustard tied it all together and the warm fresh crusty bread... OHHHHH MYYYYY!!! Greatttttt sandwhich! Jalapeno cheese bread with trip tip was MF FIRE !! I'd never imagine blue cheese and trip tip with jalapeno and spinach. Wowwwww it worked.. let's talk quality... quality aromatic blue cheese with a nice punch to it.. it almost melted into the bread!! We've been here numerous times, and it is long overdue that I give them the five stars they deserve. The Vibe & Hospitality tucked away in the corner of a shopping center on Los Altos, this is the definition of a true locals' spot. The history here is incredible--the owner, Jim, relocated and rebuilt this business after losing everything in the Paradise Camp Fire. That "rising from the ashes" spirit is reflected in the hospitality. Jim is constantly making rounds to ensure everyone feels welcome. If you get a visit from him at your table, you'll see exactly why this place has so much soul. Jen the manager is also amazing and consistently ensures the service is fantastic. The Patio & Pet-Friendly atmosphere the patio is a great space and is very pet-friendly. We've brought our beagle, Bodhi, and Jim even made a point to come out and say hello to him personally. Those small touches are what turn a restaurant into a favorite. The Food & Drinks the menu is top-tier. A few standouts from our many visits: * The Deep Dish Pizza: A total showstopper. When it hits the table, it literally turns heads across the entire restaurant. It requires a 45-minute prep time, but it is absolutely worth the wait. * Burgers & French Dip: The burger is easily one of the best in the Reno/Sparks area, and the French Dip is amazing. * The Wings: Often wings are just an afterthought, but these are really, really good. * The Bar: They have a solid craft beer selection (the flights are a must) and their Aperol Spritz and French 75 are perfectly executed. Whether you are looking for a great aesthetic, a lively sports bar energy, or just a high-quality meal, this is the spot. Support this local business--you won't regret it.

They had plenty of staff for the Wednesday night, ordered a calzone, after about 20 minutes I received a pizza. So they took the pizza and prepared a calzone, after about another 20 minutes it arrived at the table, meat inside was room temperature at best. Waitress takes it back to warm it up. We were surprised a manager never came over to check on us and apologize. She said that he was in back yelling at employees, never once did a manager address the problem with us the customer! Was charged full price with no sincere apology. I have been in the customer service industry and been a business owner for decades. Always valued my customers as they are the ones keeping the doors open. Giving 2 stars instead of 1 because I am pleased to say once we received hot food it was very good. Hopefully this is constructive criticism and I will see less poor reviews for this place.
