Located right next to the Wincos in Sparks, this taco truck is one of the best you will ever find! Great classic menu and FREE soup! The sweet owner greeted us and took our orders right away and his wife got started in the back. We ordered 3 chicken (pollo) tacos ($9) and one asada burrito ($10). Food took 5 minutes to come out and was steaming hot: burrito was enormous (see picture below) and was filled with beans, rice, plenty of meat, avocado!, and more; tacos were paired with onion & cilantro. Both came with two salsas and grilled onions, while tacos were paired with cucumber and radish slices and a slice of lime. I have never seen soup served as a side from any taco truck so it was so unexpected. Soup had meat, cilantro, and raw crunchy onion that added such a great spice and texture. Such great flavor, texture, and taste in everything. Great shaded table seating to fit about 5 people was also so perfect for a hot summer day in July. I'm a firm believer of not going grocery shopping when I'm hungry (because I usually don't follow my grocery list), so I highly recommend coming here before doing your shopping! If you're not in the area for grocery shopping even, please take a look to stop by and support this local business!

First, the greeting of a huge friendly smile by the female owner started things out right. I attempted to practice my Spanish to order and she was very patient with me. Her husband is the cook and whipped up a birria taco and a carne asada burrito for us. While we waited we were offered complimentary soup. Spicy broth with onion and cilantro, nice touch! Their presentation is far above typical food truck or fast food Mexican. The plate is dressed with soft cooked onion, a pepper, and radishes. The asada was flavorful without being overly salted with a good mix of cheese, beans, rice, and sour cream. They grill the tortilla as well for an added touch. The barria was delish! Eat over your plate as you will have a little dripping of goodness. Not too far off of 395 so convenient to grab gas, a taco or two and go!

Been going here for over 2 years now, one of my favorite mexican spots in town. All the workers are extremely kind and all the food is delicious authentic

Good service and better smelling food! My girlfriend and I came here on our date night after having a bad experience at a previous restaurant. Chepos saved the date! We ordered 8 of the quesabirria tacos w/ consome and it was amazing. These are hands down the best quesabirria taco's I've had in Reno yet. The meat was melt in your mouth tender and very well seasoned. The consome was rich and smooth but not too thick making it perfect for dipping (and for drinking!). My girlfriend and I recommend you try this place at least once and see for yourself how good it is! It's conveniently located off of McCarren parked outside of the Winco parking lot, making it an easy trip for most people.

These guys are the best! They have this poor man's soup that is to die for and it's FREE with purchase! Their burritos are second to none. I've ate at fine Mexican restaurants that don't come close to what these guys put together out of a truck. I never miss my chance to stop by when we go to Reno. If they aren't there I am bummed out. No lie! This pic is my anniversary, if that tells you how much we like them.

Found this food truck on a whim and was pleasantly surprised. I've always been a fan of food trucks and found this one to be charming with nice attention to detail. I ordered an asada burrito and was surprised as the shear size of the burrito which was served sliced in half, with sautéed onions, a spicy pepper and radish. The presentation alone was better then I've had in some restaurants. The burrito was packed with flavorful meat, rice, beans, and cheese. I'm pleased to have found a place in this part of town that serves good food at a good price. Will definitely return.

Update: Chepos appears to be making their soup a regular complimentary item and it is TO DIE FOR. I believe it's their leftover broth from the birria so I tried to make it at home and it's just not the same. Also, they typically open at 4pm everyday, but I don't know when they close. Tacos are still amazing. A little sad they stopped doing chicken, but like I said, they do what they're good at.

First off, huge shoutout to the staff at both locations. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. We had a group of about 12 showing up and ordering at different times, plus another large party there, and they handled it all really well. The patio has such a great Midtown vibe, and I'm always happy supporting local small businesses. We ordered a little bit of everything: ribeye gorditas with homemade tortillas, street tacos, quesadillas, loaded papas, elote, and I even attempted the AYCE tacos. The carnitas was some of my favorite in town, the guac was delicious, and my friend loved the skirt steak tacos. Plus, the three salsas they serve are all so good. Tacos are always subjective, but I'd absolutely recommend giving Ana's a try because there's something for everyone on the menu. The cocktails are fun too, and I'll definitely be back.
