Prior to coming in today, my kids and I have only dined from their food truck. We came across their truck at Andelin farm a few years ago now. They were busy and all three visits for activities at the Andelin, and my kids ate from their food truck. Burgers and chicken were a hit. They had no complaints! We dined in for a later lunch yesterday. We ordered a two meat plate, a buffalo chicken sandwich and an all American smash burger. This store was formerly Superchix and it was quiet in the dining room. Service was good and who I believe the chef to be served us our plates. We didn't wait too long, but our food was okay. I wish my buffalo sandwich was easier to chew and had flavor. My son liked his smash burger and I tried the chicken and pulled pork, it was okay. Service was great, so thank you for that.
Whew... where do I even begin? This meal was everything. From the first bite to the last, it was a full-on flavor experience that made me stop and just soak it all in. Major shoutout to Lamont, the owner, for creating something so special--Bone Appétit, for real. And big thanks to the amazing staff for being so warm, friendly, and welcoming. You can feel the pride and care in every corner of this place. The ambiance was cozy and soulful, with a vibe that instantly makes you feel like you're in good hands. It's the kind of spot where the food, the people, and the energy just flow together perfectly. Now let's talk about those greens. I haven't had greens like that since Big Mama was around. Tender, perfectly seasoned, and full of love. Easily my favorite part of the meal, but everything hit. The ribs, the shrimp, the sides....all top-tier. Pro tip: Don't sleep on the salad bar, and definitely check out the sauce bar. They've got sausss from all over--sweet, spicy, tangy, smoky. It's a whole experience by itself. My family and I came out for a little pre-4th celebration, and this meal made it unforgettable. We left full, happy, and already talking about when we're coming back. Can't wait to return!
If you haven't been here, you should go! The restaurant is clean, workers are friendly, and the food is all made in house! You can tell the food is homemade and the meat is smoked right outside the restaurant. I will go back and try a burger next time!
We just happened to be going to Starbucks drive-through and pulled up and saw their smoker going outside. And it smelled amazing, so we decided to have barbecue for dinner! The employee, Aspen, who helped us with our order was extremely informative and helpful. He explained a few things to us and also showed us how to get a discount when we want to order to go. I've attached a picture of it. On to the food! The BBQ beans are very, very good, a little spicy. The ribs are big and melt in your mouth. All the meats are very tender. I love potato salad, and theirs didn't disappoint. The servings are large and worth the price. We will be adding this to our favorite places! #Starbucks #drivethrough #smoker #barbecue #dinner #employee #order #discount #food #beans #ribs #meats #potatosalad #servings #price #places
I got take out from this place and noticed that they had Cinco De Mayo specials! They were only offering it on May 5th. I ordered the 3-Taco Special and the 2-Keto-Lada. Both were good portions. The specials came with elote, beans, and cornbread. I think the beans/cornbread was supposed to be rice, but maybe they ran out? No complaints from me though, I enjoyed the BBQ beans! But I would've liked to tried their rice too, haha. The tacos were delicious and I liked how it was three different types of meat: pulled pork, chicken, and shrimp. The elote was also yummy. I will definitely be back to try their regular BBQ and future specials if they have any! Check their Instagram/Facebook for updates.
I was recommend this place by a coworker, I decided to check this place out. My first visit Located in sparks, next to try Roberto tacos, Once you enter the building, you are greeted by a large pig mural on the wall. The customer service could been a little better. I met a teenager, no more than 20 years. She was wearing ripped jeans, clothing too large for her size, she took my order and sat down, and her focus was her cell phone watching the Video. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and chilli bean. The pulled was savory. Well marinated. I added spicy bbq sauce it was good, The chili bean contains marinated pulled pork. It's was surprising good. My experience is 4 stars. Points taken off because of the cashier with torn / cut up jeans over sized clothes and her attitude. The cook was friendly, he brought out my food. And I asked him if I can have couple of condiments cups. He gave me a few, do I filled it with bbq sauce. I was in the store for about 35 minutes... and cashier is still on the phone. Another guest walked in , she didn't acknowledged the guest, the cook did, and he took his order.
plenty of parking restaurant has many seatings staff was nice great value for the price, its good, but not the best for like $34, got two main entrees jammi sammi smash burger large burger, lots of greens in it, which was nice and comes with a side of your choosing 4 Meat protein platter was great pulled pork sausage 2 large pieces of ribs BBQ chicken all were good, needed more sauce for flavor I would come back again, its good for the price point
It's gonna be a no for me. No matter how many places I try, smoked meat is just a western thing I can't get with. After looking at photos I was hoping they would be charcoal cooked but not at all. The meat was tender, but not entirely good to me. The smoke flavor wasn't the best imo. The Mac and cheese was edible but the baked beans with the cheese? Nah. It 100% taste like smokehouse chili and Uber eats definitely said nothing about smokehouse beans The shrimp was okay, no real flavor of its own. It taste like the aroma of everything else in the box. Disappointed but the price wasn't too bad for 2 meats and 2 sides
My husband and I had lunch here on day two of their Sparks restaurant being open. Very little of the interior has changed since it was SuperChix. The biggest difference is that there's now a salad bar. I like how much variety they have, and even though I'm only giving it three stars, I anticipate going back to try different items. I got the smoked pulled pork BBQ plate, and the meat was really delicious. The fries were good, but not as good as SuperChix. I really liked the potato salad, and how generous the portion was. The cole slaw tasted unique, and it had cilantro in it, which was a first for me. The biggest concern was that my husband's smash burger ($14) had one patty that was way overcooked and one patty that was way undercooked. Even though I'm a medium rare kind of girl, I was worried for him when I saw how pink one of the two patties was. He brought it to the attention of the staff, and they apologized and made him a new one, and then BOTH of the patties were equally as undercooked as the first patty had been. By that time, though, we just chalked it up as a loss, and he helped me eat my smoked pulled pork.

Our Sunday & Thursday night football spot enjoying good BBQ grub... no waiting on a table or at the bar.
The new location in Sparks is bangin' high notes! All the great BBQ you are used to from the old location is here, with some new menu items like smashburgers, and various flavors of custard. The house fried pickles are great, nice panko batter, just plain delicious. Ribs are perfect, links are good and Mac n cheese is stellar. Coleslaw is a 4.7 out of five, just fresh vinaigrette style with no mayo and cilantro hit the high marks. Salad bar stocked with absolutely fresh fresh produce. Great variety. I grabbed a chocolate custard, and also a apple mango custard. The Apple mango custard is absolutely 10 out of 10. Chocolate was a good seven out of 10. They also had peanut butter, chocolate, mango, mint chocolate chip, etc. Nice artwork on the back wall and the staff was excellent. Even the music was great, coming in and hearing Zapp & Roger! That 80's goodness. They have only been open a couple of days at the new location. Training new people plus the new point of sale system so please give them some grace and soem LOVE in that TIP jar!
Amazing! I stopped in here Sunday afternoon and was greeted by a friendly crew hard at work. If there was one thing lacking in the area it was a decent locally owned bbq place that's open on Sunday! Prices were great. They offer a $6 meal deal but I wanted to try a platter. Four meats for $21 with 2 sides seemed like a no-brainer to me! Ribs, chicken, pulled pork and shrimp! While waiting for our food they gave us small chocolate milkshakes on the house. They were really good! Ribs were smoky and tender, a bit fatty but like they say on culinary school: "No fat, no joy". Pulled pork was good too. Chicken were smoked breast tenders. A little dry but very tasty otherwise. Dont skip the shrimp here! It may not scream bbq but they're done well! Fries were on point and the beans were very good. Plus there was plenty of food to take home! Next visit, Im trying the smashburger! I hope they hang in there and make it. Great food, great staff and locally owned and operated!

I went back for the two for $25 deal. I could have sworn I remembered seeing it, but I could not find a recent picture that showed it. I figured other people would appreciate knowing what deals they offer. We got the BBQ chicken sandwich and smash burger, both with fries. Our order was to go and it came out pretty quickly. Definitely a lot of food for the price. I recommend it. read more
Initially, I had my doubts, but the experience far exceeded my expectations, with a couple selections of craft beers, including Revision Brewing Company and Farmers Brewing Co. The tenderness and flavor of the ribs, pork, and chicken were outstanding, and the homemade potato salad and fried pickles were equally delightful. Staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was pretty cool, lots of yellow! If you haven't done so already, I recommend paying them a visit! read more
Most favorite go to here is the pulled pork sandwich! Would be nice if they toasted the bun slightly to prevent it from getting soggy. The collards are briny with pieces of pork in it. Also got chicken tenders which were hot and moist. Plenty of sauces located near the soda for you to try. Service and ambiance much like a fast food restaurant, but food is brought to you once it's ready. read more

8/10/2025 trying this place for first time. 3 meat combo with two sides of Mac n cheese. Hotlink was sweet and spicy, shrimp skewer was good and the ribs were good also. Cam with a side of sauce I have no idea what it was, but had a nice spicy flavor. My favorite was the hot link. Only spent 20$ for the meal which is an amazing price for the amount of food you get. Decent atmosphere and I might go back and try it again read more

Everything has a kick to it. I've live in Texas so it's not Texas BBQ good but it's rest of America good. If that makes sense. I had the shrimp po'boy, the shrimp was good but the rest was just not like an original buttery bun etc. but still good. Sausage was spicy, ribs were good & juicy, the chicken was kinda sweet (kid friendly). The Mac n cheese is good, the potato salad was BOMB. The custards are the bomb. Service was good. Inside looks cute, very clean and accommodating to large groups. The lemonades off to the side were great as well! Beans were good too. Fries were dry. Everyplace has its days tho. Overall it's pretty good. read more

Mac and cheese was the star of the show. It is so hard to find a good Mac and cheese and this did not disappoint. The burger was alright, fries were good, corn bread was alright and the hot link was a no go! It was weird... super soft and the flavor was different. I would go again and switch up what I order to see what can compliment the Mac and cheese lol read more
Our new favorite go to restaurant for fast good food, or good food fast! The staff here is so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, it's refreshing in customer service today. My wife ordered a wonderfully mad, fresh Smashburger and fries, and I went for their 3 Chicken Strips and fries platter. The strips are huge and quite possibly the juiciest I've ever enjoyed! We always share and ended up with enough to even take home! Large and clean booths & restrooms are spotless! Numerous TV's for entertainment, and don't miss out on the sauce bar too! read more

Never got a chance to try them when they were at RPM so I was happy to hear they got their own place when they left. My fiancee and I went for a late lunch so there were Only a couple people in there at the time.it was nice, clean and plenty of good seating.. we loved the murals and art on the wall. They have a pretty good size menu with good prices.. and they have $6 meal deals which are awesome.. they come with a small drink , fries and you pick your entree.. its a good size for lunch and not too hungry people.. We both got the $6 meal and both chose the pulled pork slider. We also added a side of mac n cheese and corn bread. of course we had to have a side of ranch for ours fries. And happy we did because it's some of the best ranch.. they put a good amount of dill in it and I love dill! The sliders were pretty good. The bbq sauce that comes on it is on the sweeter side for me but it was still good. Good amount of pork given especially for a slider.. The mac n cheese was good. The flavor was something I hadn't tasted before but it wasn't bad and the noodles weren't soggy.. the honey butter corn bread was the only thing my fiancee and I didn't care for. It was very dry. All in all it was good, staff was nice and place was clean. we will be going back because I gotta try their ribs and burgers! read more
Amber took our order she was nice and explained the menu to us. She was able to tell us the popular items. The Mac and green were good not dry and the cheese actually pulled off the mac. The place was clean and the atmosphere and ambiance was good. The cornbread was sweet. The price was fair and not overly expensive. read more

The pulled pork is ok could use more slaw and also the bottom bun is so soggy you can't pick it up. Also, I don't love the bbq sauce. It is a bit tangy. The milk shake is standard fast food. No actual strawberries. The corn bread is good but a bit crumbly. I really do not like the potato salad. I tend to be picky with potato salad. The potatoes are undercooked and there are too many onions. They taste awful. The mac and cheese is ok. The noodles are super yummy but the cheese is a bit sharp. I am also picky when it comes to mac and cheese. The fries are very shrively. Not good. Overall this place is not great. read more

The family travel 140 miles to enjoy the ribs. Upon arriving we decided on trying a few delicious items. Every bite of our meals were finger-licking. What got us was the custard. Frozen custard is ice cream delectable. The available flavors were Party Pig(birthday cake), chocolate cake, chocolate, strawberry and vanilla. Fate had it that we had a cooler with us to bring home the custard. Yes, the custard was awesome. It has a nice, creamy texture that fills your taste buds with nostalgia. I know that doesn't make much sense, but one of their small tubs has lasted us a week so far. read more
My husband and I tried this new location the other day for lunch. We both ordered the American smash burger with an additional side of mac and cheese. The burger is served with a large side of fries. Since I had read reviews before coming in, I requested my burger to be cooked on the well side of things, hoping to avoid the raw patty that another yelper experienced. They were more than happy to honor my request. Service here was on point. We were the only customers in for lunch, but this location is fairly new here. This used to be the old Super Chix location and not much has changed. They even kept the custard machines. They have added a salad bar and some murals. One thing that we noticed was that most of the tables could use a good cleaning. This was also an issue when Super Chix was in the location. The more we looked, the more we noticed. This location is FILTHY. Someone had posted a photo from TWO WEEKS ago, and the same trash was still sitting in the same spot during our visit. The soda machine appeared visibly sticky, and 4 out of the 10 options were out of order. The food arrives, the mac and cheese was the best part. The burger was okay, very heavy on the mustard. My husband said his meat had the texture of sausage and not beef. I also noticed this, but was unsure if it's because I ordered well done. The fries were great. Overall, I think this place could be very successful, it just needs a good deep cleaning. read more

I stopped by this BBQ restaurant on a Tuesday evening and had a pretty good experience overall. The place itself is a decent size very clean and wasn't busy at the time which made for a relaxed and comfortable visit. I ordered a plate with a variety of meats including ribs, pulled pork, and sausage. The flavors were good and satisfying though nothing particularly out of the ordinary compared to other BBQ spots. For my sides I went with potato salad and fries both of which were fresh and tasty. The potato salad being a nice complement to the heavier meats. Pricing felt fair and reasonable for a full dinner for one person especially considering the portion sizes. What really stood out was the customer service--everyone was friendly helpful and attentive which made the meal much more enjoyable. Overall this is a solid BBQ spot with good food, fresh sides, fair prices, and excellent service. I would recommend it if you're in the mood for a reliable no-fuss BBQ dinner. read more

Honest food review: Smash burger at a BBQ place? They better be doing it right.... And.... They are. 5/5 Okay... 2 days in a row at a restaurant and I'm thinking... can they get a 5/5 for 2 very different categories of food.... Whelp... they did. -JAMMI SLAMMI SMASH: 5/5 I was looking to be critical of a burger at a BBQ place, but I was told that they had won some awards for their burgers so I was skeptical. Add a jam that you'd assume to be spicy to complement the mayo perfectly and wash away that taste from the arugula that many don't like... a tomato thin and just fresh and an overall bite that just goes well together. Quality meets flavor as the buns were well intact throughout the meal, as well as a burger that smashed had juiciness while a Maillard texture from the smash process that gives you a caramelization of of the beef and it just goes so well.... I had a bite of the bacon blue, but for a flavor experience you don't get locally, this is a unique burger that really just left me impressed. The shoestring potatoes as well were just natural, which I love! The oil was fresh too so it definitely allowed for these to get a 5/5 as well. The owner said... we'll see you tomorrow, as it was my second day there. I unfortunately didn't make it back, but I'll be introducing my friends to this place. I'm looking for something negative to report on, but in my first review you'll note that there's minimal things to pick apart. While this is a new establishment with a walk in location, they're hitting the ground running and I hope they do amazing this year! read more

We had a good experiencing eating here a few months ago and we were craving burgers so we thought we'd try out their smash burgers. We were not disappointed. The nachos were good and I loved how the pulled pork was still juicy and not dried out. They also served a decent sized portion.
