The pregnancy cravings strike again! Someone mentioned a smashburger and I'm instantly looking up places to go because I NEED one. Props to Burger Me for being one of the only smash burger locations in Reno to be open on a Monday during lunch hours! With that being said, the menu options are focused on burgers, with really one option for smash burgers. I asked for what meat options could be made into a smashburger, and was told beef only. I was craving a western style smashburger and as-is, the one option didn't fit the bill. I asked to substitute or pay for onion rings on the burger in place of carmelized onions, and my brain didn't comprehend that I could order onion rings on the side and put them on myself. I was offered to have fried onions substituted and I said yes. There's several sauce options and I chose the bbq sauce, naturally. I also ordered garlic fries on the side. The burger itself is two beef patties that are each smashed, place on top of each other. I think each one has cheese on top, but I was too hungry to look for that before diving in. There's enough pickles to be in every bite, and it was glorious. The patty itself was seasoned, but I could only taste the seasoning in certain parts. I could still taste the seasoning with and without the bbq sauce, and it was yummy. Bbq sauce tasted like bbq sauce, it fit the bill 100%. If you're looking for a normal sized smash burger, ask for only one patty. I couldn't finish the whole burger and I can normally eat a whole smash burger to myself. My food was served probably in 15 mins. I also came in before a bigger lunch crowd so that probably helped. As for the atmosphere, I really appreciate the booths and tables. There's also arcade games near the back, with a clear glass so you can keep eyes on little ones while in the main restaurant. Definitely recommended. I can't believe I forgot to leave a review after trying the bison burger for the first time. Everything I've ever had here has been excellent, but the bison burger was easily one of the best burgers ever! The onion rings are perfect every time. They are light and crispy and the ranch is so good! I tried the white truffle burger and loved it! It was borderline too much truffle for me, but that's just a personal thing. As with anything, I strongly encourage everyone to try it for themselves. And the Bella stack from a separate visit easily moved to my top favorite. I almost didn't get it because I thought I would miss the flavor of the burger patty with onions and cheese, nope! I didn't miss it at all! The Bella stack has one of the thickest portobello mushrooms I've ever seen in my life. It is marinated in this beautiful balsamic reduction (that was almost too much on that to by the way, but if anything just order some on the side) It was a flavor that stayed with me for awhile after lunch and it was delightful. Also, I'm a big fan of pesto, which is another reason I had to try the Bella stack. One of the sandwiches I can't wait to try next is the big dippa (similar to a French dip). The staff are nice, the service is quick and everything seems to be clean and organized. They also have some great adult beverage options. My fiancee and i used to come here years ago but we hadn't been back in awhile.. Shame on us..lol.. it was good back then and its still really good.. I forgot how good their onions rings and ranch were.. Im obsessed with them all over again.. we went twice in one week.. lol. The batter for the rings are so crispy and lite. Not thick and not panko bread. It's more like a Tempura batter. Lots of good little side crispys attached to them..for the little crispy lovers..lol. the ranch is one of the best around.. flavor! It's dill forward and I looove dill.. Now for the burgers... One day I had the smash burger- big! 2 juicy patties. Well seasoned and not dry. The sautéed onions were yummy and cooked just right..not burnt or raw. Right amount of thousand island and I got cheddar cheese instead of American and it added a nice creamy richness .. all you would need is this burger and would be super full.. 2nd visit- i made my own. Cheddar, bacon, though island, pickles and lettuce . A good decent simple burger. Bacon was good and didnt taste like cheap fast food bacon. Its a smaller burger than the smash burger ..I think it was a 1/3 patty .. good for when you're having onion rings too..lol My fiancee on the 1st visit got- the truffle burger.. flavor!! Very fresh. White cheddar, caramelized onions.. Truffle can be alot at times.. this was borderline. Good half way through the burger and then it could get to you.. but still a good burger and she said she would get again but with light truffle of possible. Her 2nd burger was the Bella stack- a veggie burger.. the patty was a very thick marinated portobello mushroom with feta cheese, roasted red pepper, pesto and balsamic reduction. First time here and very pleased. We ordered the Gyro Burger and the Big Pippa. Both were very good. Nice size portions, fresh and comes with choice of various side sauces. Also, the Garlic Fries wete delicious and the small size was enough for two. A great find and right next to a movie theater. We were in the area and I decided a burger sounded good for dinner; so, before we left, we dropped by Burger Me! to order a burger to-go! When we entered the restaurant, they had a few customers but not overly busy. We approached the cashier (as opposed to ordering at the kiosk-- keep humans employed!) and I ordered the lamb burger. After a few minutes, I received my order and we were on our merry way. The burger was visually enticing (albeit too much arugula for my liking but that's my personal preference), I liked the flavor of the lamb burger patty; it was seasoned nicely and cooked well, the tzatziki sauce complimented it perfectly. My only critique was the bun could've been buttered and/or kissed the grill for a bit, it was too plain and dry for my liking. Went here on a recommendation from a family member. I was not disappointed. Located in strip mall of high end stores, this place has a prime location. You order at the counter and call your name when it's ready. Although, they brought it to my table as a courtesy. There is an old school arcade for you to enjoy while waiting. The staff is very polite and courteous. I let them know it was my first time visiting and what did they recommend. I was pointed in the direction of either The Smash Burger or The Cowboy. I ordered The Cowboy with a side of onion rings, and boy was it delicious. BBQ sauce and jalapenos, fresh lettuce and tomatoes, 1/3 lb beef patty and two strips of bacon, on a buttered bun. It was one of the best tasting burgers I've had in a long time. The onion rings were huge, but light, crispy and fresh. They offer fountain drinks with orange Fanta and Pepsi products. Orange Fanta is a favorite of mine. This is my go to burger spot when visiting Reno, from now on. read more

I absolutely love burger joints that actually take risks with their menu and Burger Me! fits the bill! I'd never had an elk pattie before and it didn't disappoint, although it was a bit on the drier/well-done side despite ordering medium-rare. Maybe that's futile when it comes to elk burgers, but I wasn't upset! The leanness of the meat was welcomed and paired well with cheddar, bacon, and grilled onions. My wife had the smash burger and was equally satisfied. The best part is a widely customizable menu even if the staples don't suit your fancy. The fries were fresh, seasoned well and not too soft in the middle. However, the garlic dipping sauce we got on the side was insanely heavy on minced garlic and was way too strong to warrant more than a couple uses. That being said, the condiment station off to the side offered more than enough alternatives, including a robust inventory of hot sauces, mustards, and malt vinegar. The service was brief but welcoming and the atmosphere is your typical strip mall eatery, but there's plenty of booths and enough TVs to complete the vibe. First timers here on a Sunday afternoon 2/9/25. At first glance this place has a really nice vibe. The decor matches their menu, with pictures of a Cow, Pig, Bison and Chicken,...interesting. It's actually very nice. The service on the otherhand could improve. The girl that took our order wasn't too friendly. Actually, both employees I interacted with could benefit from training on Customer Service. Another thing that caught my eye was that there was an unusual amount of dust on the napkin dispenser at our table (see picture). Thinking it was just ours that was possibly missed at cleaning, I checked the booths in front and behind us and both dispensers had quite a bit of dust on top of them as well. Ugh, not something you want to see before you even get your food. Oh well, the rest of the place looked really clean, so we just hoped for the best for our food. I had the build a Burger which was $8.95, added cheese for $1.50 and made it a combo for an additional $3.50, to add fries and a drink. My burger was good and although I ordered it well done, it wasn't dry. It was also seasoned well. The French Fries were cooked well, but a bit too salty for my taste. My husband ordered a sandwhich from the "Favorites!" menu. He actually made his a combo for an additional $3.50. He had a beer, so he actually did not get to benefit from the soft drink in the combo. This is the classic greasy burger joint, and you can tell as you slide up to place your order. The onion rings are BIG, but just remember to use your napkins to soak up the excess fat before it settles into the batter. I couldn't finish the onion rings, but neither could the people that left before me. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak as it was one of the featured pictures on the menu. It probably sat a little too long as the bread got soggy and fell apart. It's hard to eat a cheesesteak with only the top bun. The staff was quick in making another sandwich and separating the bread from the meat/cheese/toppings so that it wouldn't get soggy. The cooking can vary any day of the week. As this was a Saturday after movies finish, I was imagining a different dining experience. It may also be the item that I ordered. Other places I have reviewed make top-notch Philly cheesesteaks, so it may be unfair to compare Burger Me to these places. First timer yesterday 05/08! My boyfriend and I were immediately stoked that they sold Bison and Elk Burgers. We ordered 1 Bison, 1 Elk, and a Grilled cheese for our daughter. I love their sweet potato fries- crispy and soft at the same time and you can taste the sweet potato. The cowboy burger and bbq bison burger and ahi tuna burgers are favorites. The garlic fries are too garlicky for my taste, but if you LOVE garlic you won't be disappointed. Great price, fast service, convenient location with a video arcade inside for kids, I think burger me is a great addition to summit mall, and some of the most affordable food in the area. I've been going to Burger Me for years since they first opened in Truckee. We used to really love stopping by the South Reno location after watching a movie at the theater. However, it seems like lately they are just phoning it in. We visited the other night about 45 minutes before they were closing, but the woman at the front was pretty much done for the night. We asked about the ice tea and she said, "Not anymore." Okay, does that mean not tonight or tea is no longer available at all? My bison burger was tiny, mediocre, and the bottom bun was as hard as a rock. In fact, the burger tasted just like a regular beef burger, just more expensive. My husband's fish sandwich was so loaded with mayo, that I could have doused my burger in it, which I nearly did. We didn't bother with fries ever since they got rid of the chipotle mayo. We are regulars at this burger me. The food is always fresh and yummy. The employees are pleasant, respectful, and professional. Today we were in there at about 11:30 for lunch. We were helped by Robert (regional manager). When we came up to the counter, he was texting on his cell phone. With phone in hand, he started to take our order. As he was ringing up our order, he kept making mistakes, my husband said, it would go better for you if you set your cell phone down. He told my husband, " no, I don't think so. I can multitask." Our hamburgers were very good. They ask you how you like your hamburger cooked and they can deliver it the way you want it. This is a pet peeve of mine as most places cannot get this right. The produce was fresh and crisp and the dill pickles added a lot of flavor. The bun was a fresh brioche bun that stood up to the weight of the sandwich. The service model is not one of my favorite, you place the order, they take your name, when your order is ready they call your name out as they are looking to bring you your food. The servers were not that friendly. The inside of the place needs maintenance. The bench seats has tears in them, the paint on the walls needs to be touched up. Can I get my money back? What a disappointment. Burger Me used to be my go-to for a great burger and fries served by a nice staff, boy have they been on a steady decline and tonight was likely my last straw. They've always been on the pricier side for "fast food" but they've always been above and beyond fast food and worth it. Not anymore. We walked in as a party of three. Not a single greeting from the two grouchy women working the front. I placed my order at an iPad, asked to leave a tip on said iPad, finalized my order... still not a single glance from the staff. Grabbed a water and two soda cups, then our presence was FINALLY acknowledged when I questioned if I paid for said cups . Three burgers, one order of onion rings, one order of garlic fries, 2 sodas...$75+. Onion rings were FOUL. SO MUCH breading that that the insides were raw and soggy. Un-edible. One of our burgers was ordered well and one was ordered med-rare, the kitchen staff (who I watched walk around eating in the back while our food was prepared) mixed up the burgers so that the wrong fixings and sauces ended up on the wrong pattys. Normally, no big deal, but this is a $25 burger each. I want it cooked to the temp I ordered it with the sauces and veggies chosen to create my burger. I ordered the medium rare and was quite frankly pissed to be eating a well done chewy burger. Same goes for the person who ordered the well done. I heard the woman sitting behind me complaining that her food had been cooked in the same grease as fish and she couldn't finish it. Overall, what a disappointment. My burger was great and she said her bun was one of the best she has had. It didn't immediately fall apart like most. We ordered the sweet potato fries, which were a miss for me. Burger Me! first started out in Truckee, CA and quickly expanded to Northwest Reno and South Reno in later years - with South Reno being the newest location! This has been a staple of really good gourmet burgers, locally sourced ingredients and meat, and a mix of different specialty burgers! I always opt for a build-your-own, the bison meat is great, but today I opted for a good old hamburger with my favorite fixings of chipotle mayo (which is delicious, try it!). The lettuce was fresh as always, and if you are feeling like a pretzel bun, that's always a recommendation that I give for newbies (for an extra $0.75)! The fries are as fresh as always and crunchy. The servings are always very filling! I couldn't recommend this place enough! The service is a fast-food type, they take your order, you sit down, and they serve you. Straightforward. There's an ordering kiosk that my husband and I always opt for, and it ensures you get your burger the way you want it! The restaurants are always really clean and cozy, definitely nothing to complain about. Each location also has a mini arcade for the kiddos, so if you have them, they can always play at the arcade while you're eating too! Burgers. What do you want from a place that is called burger me? Well they have burgers. Good burgers that are well built and with flavor. They also have a pretty good selection of non burger sandwiches as well. So something for almost everyone in the family. The pricing is a bit rough...but it seems that the pricing everywhere is a bit rough right now...I guess we will all adjust. They also seem to have a small handful of alcoholic drinks available, but when I am here I am looking to just get some good food into my face and move on with my day. Alcohol is more of a celebratory type of thing for me. But the selection seemed pretty good. I really enjoyed the Elk Burger the last time I ordered from here...and pretty much every other time I have enjoyed what I have ordered. Parking out front is plentiful and there are other places to eat nearby so you can even "food court" a dinner with the family and have everyone get what they want. Welcome to the empty plate club! If you really want to know how good these burgers are, look at the plates! They are fresh ground, local beef hand made patties. They are wonderful! The restaurant is diner style and has a couple of TVs showing various sports. But it is not loud. In the summer (I visited at the end of January) there is outdoor tables. The ordering is very simple: you walk to the counter, talk with a nice person, place, pay, and sit. The food magically appears at your table. They also serve adult beverages (beer and wine), but don't have a full bar. They even have an arcade for those who like to slip a quarter into a machine. Check it out! I wrote my first review of Burger Me! in 2017, and I'm pleased that it's still in existence. My husband and I came here on a Sunday afternoon following offroading at Castle Peak and in Virginia City, and our experience was delightful. It was a late lunch and I was starving, and our custom burgers and fries came out in less than five minutes after we ordered them. They were delicious. The booth seating is so cosy, and the environs are clean and modern-industrial. Lots of TVs for sportsball. It's conveniently located next to the movie theater, and there is a ton of parking as a result. read more
