Today we had a disappointing experience at a restaurant. Before we even sat down, I informed the staff that we had a service dog with us. The employee asked the owner if it was allowed, and his first response was, "We don't allow dogs inside." I explained that he is a service dog. The owner then asked for paperwork to prove it. I respectfully told him that businesses are not allowed to require documentation for a service dog. His response was, "How am I supposed to know it's a service dog?" At that point, I ended up showing my personal medical paperwork, something I should never have felt pressured to do. I also explained that as a business owner, he should know the laws regarding service animals. Everyone that I know has been telling me how good this place is so I had to try it. It's a small chicken shop with music and a small bar. Friendly customer service. Ordered 4 different flavors to try them out: original crispy, angel kick, sweet honey and honey butter (all small orders). I was not disappointed with the flavor nor the crispiness of the wings. They were delicious. My favorites were the original crispy and angel kick while my kids loved the honey butter a lot. Besides offering beer and soda, there is a free water dispenser on the right side and all utensil is up by the counter along with gloves. Didn't realize we had fried wings up in LT when it first opened a few years ago. That was my first introduction to Northern Nevada Korean chicken wings actually and I've been a fan since. Tried this spot tonight and overall it was a pretty good wing. My wife had heard about Wings Korean Chicken and really wanted to give it a try, so we decided to venture over on a Saturday night. We arrived around 8:00 PM, about an hour before closing. The cheddar corn dog was good as well, basically a big chunk of cheddar cheese coated in that same delicious batter. I thoroughly enjoyed both and would absolutely come back just for those. At $4 each, considering how big and filling they are, they are a solid deal. Overall, this is a good spot. The wings are decent, but at $10.99 for just five wings, they feel a bit overpriced. We saw this spot after going to their neighbors Macho Tequilas and decided to circle back this weekend to give it a try. I ordered the super spicy wings, garlic parm fries and some strawberry soup. The wingers were sizeable, the cook was excellent and the sauce was great as well. Turned 42 and my wife had a wonderful idea to celebrate with some deliciously crispy fried chicken at one of the top rated spots with some great friends, and it was excellent! Wings is a small spot that is great for hanging with small groups of people. Admittedly, I was a little concerned, knowing that my group was around 20 to 30 people, but we took over the row of tables and booths along one wall pre-ordered some food for the crew and some drinks and we're ready to roll when everyone started showing up. We ordered a bunch of fried wings served naked with all the sauces on the side and for sauces I would say that's the way to go. If you're getting dry rubs like the honey butter it works just fine to have it done for you. My favorite sauce had to be the angel kick because I really packed a spicy punch along with delicious sweetness. The chicken was crispy on the outside and super juicy inside and something. I definitely am craving. I had to try a Korean corn dog, which I'll say something. I'll probably enjoy once and not again. It was super dense and delicious with a huge amount of mozzarella cheese in the center but there was no actual sausage or hotdog inside after looking at the menu again, I realized you have to choose whether you're gonna have sausage or cheese And the cheese was just too much for me.
