The food was amazing. We only got a picture of the wings cuz the we was starving haha. But definitely good food. All the sauces we tried where good. Even the extra extra hit sauce. Spicy but yummy And the best of all was Amazing service!!!! We will be back

Went to Cluckers recently for a family outing with my siblings and my daughter, and wow... this place was a solid hit. The servers were great and super attentive! We ordered a little bit of everything to try. First off, the fried pickles were AMAZING -- super thin, perfectly crispy, and honestly one of the best things we ate. I would go back just for those. We also tried the chicken & waffles, whole wings, chicken strips, the Cowboy Clucker, and the Clucker Supreme. Every sandwich comes with a full breaded chicken thigh (seriously HUGE) with pickles, and each meal comes with a full order of fresh cut fries. The fries were SO good... fresh, crispy, and addicting. Like I would come here just for fries alone. The Cowboy Clucker had BBQ sauce, red onions, and cheddar cheese and it was really good. The Clucker Supreme was more of a classic style with mayo, lettuce, and tomato. I will say the breading on my sandwich could've used a little more seasoning, BUT it was still delicious once dipped in the sauces. And speaking of sauces -- they have a TON of options. You can pick two per meal and they have so many, so there's something for everyone. The whole wings were super crispy and cooked perfectly. I also ordered the Spicy Clucker to-go for my husband since he couldn't come, and he said it was perfectly spicy and totally worth it. Overall, everything was super yummy and the portions are huge. I'm already planning to go back... mostly for those fries and fried pickles because WOW.
This restaurant is so adorable! Plenty of seating both at the bar and dining area. Parking is a bit of a challenge but it's midtown-just be patient when you're looking for parking spot. It's so colorful inside with some of the best murals. Staff is very friendly. Had the chicken taquitos and chicken tenders. Everything was delicious and love all the sauce choices. Great place!

We had been wanting to try this spot for a while, but felt like we kept missing their hours. However now at this new location it seems like they've expanded them a bit which I'm happy about! I felt it was decent value for the price- they included a good sized side and the chicken in the sandwiches was definitely higher quality than your typical fast casual chicken sandwich joint. The fries and sauces were great. Potato salad maybe a bit sweet for my liking but still really tasty. The staff were all very kind, helpful, and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. I was pleasantly surprised!! It really was a solid chicken sandwich joint perfect for my post-workout hanger. Would probably do well as a light night spot on the weekends.
I've been looking for whole wings! These are a really nice size but they lacked flavor. Not 1 piece had salt on it. I would suggest a sauce to have these taste like something. The fries have to be eaten hot! Otherwise it'd a major no. Customer service was really good! They do have a few tables and chairs should you decide to dine in! Give it a try at least, and bring salt
Everything was great I had 3 strips with fries. Wife had strips with deep fried pickles. Love that they use chicken thighs. Will definitely be back
hello! new spot moved in about 4-5 weeks ago downtown virigina street, super poppin' and busy street with lots of restaurants, traffic, and more. used to be near brothers bbq. signage incoming outside of the building. didnt have a sign outside of the restaurant due to the recent move. first time, parking can be pack, so go early to find a spot, limited spots. walking or uber is ideal. the food was excellent the chicken was moist, juicy, and retained its texture. the chicken was not dry at all, so props to that! chicken tenders were great also, juicy and tender. excellent hospitality and thank you joe for the welcome! will be back to try more cluckers!
Cluckers is a welcomed fast casual restaurant in Midtown with reasonable prices and quality food. I've been here a few times now and have always been pleasantly surprised by the quality of the chicken and fries for the price. The service has always been very good each time I've come here. They are attentive and quick and will bring out your order and check on you when dining on the patio. Each meal is more than enough food for the price, and I appreciate that you can choose difference sauces for your chicken and fries and no extra cost. The fry sauce is a must try and there are lots to choose from depending on what you're into. I prefer the Chicken Tender meal bu the chicken sandwich is also a good option. The chicken is much better than typical fast food chicken, being more fresh and "real" which I appreciate. The fries are also really good and fresh cut. I've been here for lunch several times now and have never been disappointed, glad to have an affordable and tasty option in midtown, especially next to an arcade!

Another slam dunk for the best fried chicken joint in Reno They new guy at the counter did pretty good. Friendly and made sure we were all set after we were eating. Fried pickles and the spicy hot clucker and the chicken strip combo. Always better in store hot out the frier.

The place is a medium size with plenty of seats, tables and a bar. There are also several flat-screen TVs. Street-level parking is limited. I went in mid-week around 3pm and the place was empty. I heard about this place on different social networks so I was intrigued to check it out. Now I am a big fan of Nashville style hot chicken. Having visited Nashville I've tried Hattie B's, Prince's Hot Chicken and other local spots. I didn't think to compare Cluckers to those well established restaurants. I ordered the Spicy Clucker which was a fried chicken thigh with a spicy rub, spicy mayo, spicy sauce, pickles and coleslaw topping the sandwich. The chicken was crispy and juicy. The spice was a medium heat for which I enjoyed and the coleslaw cooled my palette perfectly. The bun was soft but broke down as I ate. The sandwich comes with fries but I opted for the fried pickles. There was a generous portion of fried pickles. The pickles were battered and it appeared to be house made. The pickles were crispy, crunchy and great with the in house ranch dressing. I said I didn't come here to compare them to the well known Nashville Hot Chicken establishments but WOW Cluckers is just as good as those Nashville establishments. And those pickles were excellent too not some generic fried pickles some national establishments sell. I highly recommend Cluckers and definitely will be coming back to try the other sandwiches and items. read more

The service was friendly, the interior was relatively clean, and quiet. We ordered the OG with fries and a spicy chicken with fried pickles. The OG was a 3/5 and the fries were 2/5. However. The spicy clucker and fried pickles were both a 4/5. We may return in the future. read more

After eating 32 fried chicken sandwiches from 32 restaurants over the course of 3 months I have a very well defined idea of what I like in a chicken sando. The good: Cornflakes in the breading Perfect cook on a juicy piece of dark meat Pickles The bad: No seasoning in the breading!!! The French fries made In N Out fries look crispy The meh: Too much slaw The garlic buffalo sauce just didn't taste good to me Way better than Canes or Chik Fil A but I prefer Popeyes or even Wendy's. I'll probably be back because my lovely fiancée was a vegan during the fried chicken showdown and now that he eats meat he's certain there are no bad chicken Sammie's. read more
I'm always on the lookout to try a new spicy chicken sandwich place, and this place doesn't disappoint. We ordered at the counter and got the food to go. Waited about 10 minutes and our name was called. We tried two different sandwiches - the Korean and the Spicy Chicken. I was hoping the spicy chicken was more like Nashville hot, but tends to taste more like Buffalo/franks's red hot. The Korean sandwich was delightful but was slightly overcooked. Loved the flavor and would love to see spice levels available like the spicy sandwich (low, med, or very spicy) Fries come with and are delicious and reminiscent of fries from Dick's burgers out of the Seattle area - greasy and skinny but delicious. We got fry sauce and ranch with our meals - loved both as dippers for fries and added to the sandwiches too. We'll be back to try other sandwiches! Excited to see another fried chicken spot in Reno! read more

Just finished a delicious lunch at Cluckers. We got the Korean chicken sandwich and the chicken strips, both come with fries. Our food was fresh, hot, and flavorful. Chicken was nice and crunchy, exactly how you would expect and want it to be. They have indoor seating which was clean and comfortable, nothing worse than eating in a cold restaurant. You walk up and place your order and they bring your food to you. Staff were professional, welcoming and friendly. Would definitely recommend and we will be back! read more

We tried Cluckers (in Midtown) for the first time. Chicken sandwich, strips and chick-itos. My chicken taquitos were the best by far but everything was great. Tip- their medium hot was pretty hot, even for me. It was kinda like fast food but with a nice but small dining area. We'll be back! read more

This place is my new favorite chicken sandwich spot. The house made French fries are the cherry on top. What a great place. Fresh fried chicken and fries. No frozen products. I had the original sandwich with a side of the spicy Korean sauce. It was 10 out of 10. The staff was very helpful as well. Great space to have an amazing lunch. I then went next door to Brothers and got some ribs. It was a great day. read more

I concur with the other reviewers - this is the best fried chicken sandwich in Reno. My husband and I decided to give it a try for a late lunch and I am glad we made the trek down to MidTown even on a cold windy OMG it is starting to snow kind of day. Walking in to the warm and cozy space with a very warm and friendly welcome from the young lady at the counter. My husband ordered just the chicken and a side of fries. He likes to give a new item a try without all the "extras" like a bun, or mayo, or pickles, or anything. I ordered the original sandwich that comes with fries. We just had bottled water to drink. There are lots of options available in the coolers. We grabbed a seat at one of the 4 small tables in room. The food came out fairly quickly (maybe about 5 minutes?) It was obviously freshly cooked and all the items were hot and crispy - except the bun - it was pillowy soft, lightly toasted and warm. The fries were crispy and made from real potatoes and perfectly salted. We got ours with a side of mayo - Dutch style. The portions were HUGE! in hindsight we did not need the extra side order of fries. THe portion served with my meal would have been plenty for the two of us. The space is small but very clean. Service is good, food is good, and the ambience is utilitarian but cheerful. The price is reasonable for the quality of the ingredients - under $30 for the two of us including tip and taxes. God so excited about eating the sandwich, I forgot to take a picture of the food, but did get a couple of pics of the signage. Looking forward to a return visit - the spicy chicken sandwich looks like a good one to try. Will try to remember to get food pics. read more

One of the best chicken sandwiches I've had in a long time. I got the supreme and substituted the fries for fried pickles. They came out so crisp and perfectly cooked but found it too salty for my liking ( is there an option to request unsalted or is that weird?) . I ended up eating most of my husband's perfectly cooked and seasoned fries along with their fry sauce . Bomb! Amazing and friendly service and I'm so happy they were very generous with trying different sauces to go with the sandwich. This was a cozy spot conveniently located next to Press Start and Brothers BBQ. Seemed underrated but wow this place was a gem! We will be back! read more
Found out about this place through Yelp. Went back the following week to try some of the food. We got the spicy chicken sandwich with fries. It was good and my only complaint is the slaw was wet so it made my but fall apart. However, the slaw really makes the sandwich. My husband got the regular chicken sandwich and it was good also. The fries were so much better than the fast food fries around town. I was most happy to find that the chicken was cooked as many times I don't like to get chicken out because it is slimy and not cooked enough. This chicken was cooked enough and it was still not dry. It was quite tasty. I think some choices of sauce would give the customer a chance to add what they enjoy. Location is a bit hard to find enough off-street parking but they had indoor and outdoor spots to sit. Ours was a to go order. When on that side of town we will drop in and try other things. read more
I was excited to try this spot, and as much as I want to like it, it didn't quite hit the mark for me. The location is cool, right next door to Press Start. It's actually what brought us to the area - food and arcade night. There is a parking lot and street parking next to the location, which is always nice to have in midtown. The staff were very friendly. The dining area was clean (too bad there isn't more room for seating). The food wasn't great. There are a variety of chicken sandwich options, which is awesome. Unfortunately, the fact that they don't use chicken breast meat causes the meat to be fatty and chewy. The fries were good. I had to ask for bbq sauce to dip them in. I don't think I'll be back. Given the whole menu is chicken sandwiches (and I don't like the chicken thigh meat used), there aren't other options for me on the menu. read more
We got the original chicken sandwich and my boyfriend got the spicy chicken sandwich. The chicken on the inside was perfectly cooked! Just the right amount of moist so the sandwich does not taste dry. The buns were soft and fluffy. I am not usually a fan of chicken sandwiches because of how dry it makes the whole sandwich when it is overcooked, but these were definitely one of the best chicken sandwiches I have ever had! We also ordered the fried pickles because we heard people complimenting them so we had to try. They were definitely crispy on the outside and crunchy on the inside. It is surprising to have a crispy exterior when the juice of the pickles can seep out. We tried some of the regular fries as well, but they were not as crispy on the outside. They do give a lot of fries for the price! Cluckers is attached to Press Start (adult arcade) next door and you can order through a window. Finding parking is the most difficult because it is in midtown, so you might need to come early to find somewhere to park. Service is quick and the staff are nice. The inside of Cluckers is small if you want to dine-in, but they do have a few tables outdoors. Definitely will rave about their original Clucker to fellow foodies! read more

Finally got a chance to try out Cluckers! Located right next to Brothers Barbecue (and owned too by them). The location is small and cozy, definitely geared towards takeout. However, there is a number of seating areas for dine-in. Straightforward menu, with a variety of different chicken sandwiches and even chicken strips. Note, no fountain drinks, but there are bottled beverages that are ready for purchase. The service was nice, and the person at the front was attentive and ensured that everything was good to go. My only complaint from the food is that the fries and the chicken were kind of greasy. Good flavor but I typically prefer crunchier fries and a less greasy chicken. Otherwise it was delicious! We can't wait to try out the other sandwiches that they have! read more

Hi there. I called and asked, and they said they do not use peanut oil, they use soybean oil. Hope that helps!
