Went to Cluckers recently for a family outing with my siblings and my daughter, and wow... this place was a solid hit. The servers were great and super attentive! We ordered a little bit of everything to try. First off, the fried pickles were AMAZING -- super thin, perfectly crispy, and honestly one of the best things we ate. I would go back just for those. We also tried the chicken & waffles, whole wings, chicken strips, the Cowboy Clucker, and the Clucker Supreme. Every sandwich comes with a full breaded chicken thigh (seriously HUGE) with pickles, and each meal comes with a full order of fresh cut fries. The fries were SO good... fresh, crispy, and addicting. Like I would come here just for fries alone. The Cowboy Clucker had BBQ sauce, red onions, and cheddar cheese and it was really good. The Clucker Supreme was more of a classic style with mayo, lettuce, and tomato. I will say the breading on my sandwich could've used a little more seasoning, BUT it was still delicious once dipped in the sauces. And speaking of sauces -- they have a TON of options. You can pick two per meal and they have so many, so there's something for everyone. The whole wings were super crispy and cooked perfectly. Waited about 10 minutes and our name was called. We tried two different sandwiches - the Korean and the Spicy Chicken. The food is good, but just be aware it's only chicken thighs... dark meat... no white meat... definitely not my favorite, but it's hard to argue with a decent chicken sandwich. My husband and I decided to give it a try for a late lunch and I am glad we made the trek down to MidTown even on a cold windy OMG it is starting to snow kind of day. Walking in to the warm and cozy space with a very warm and friendly welcome from the young lady at the counter. My husband ordered just the chicken and a side of fries. He likes to give a new item a try without all the "extras" like a bun, or mayo, or pickles, or anything. I ordered the original sandwich that comes with fries. We just had bottled water to drink. There are lots of options available in the coolers. We grabbed a seat at one of the 4 small tables in room. The food came out fairly quickly (maybe about 5 minutes?) It was obviously freshly cooked and all the items were hot and crispy - except the bun - it was pillowy soft, lightly toasted and warm. The fries were crispy and made from real potatoes and perfectly salted. We got ours with a side of mayo - Dutch style. The portions were HUGE! in hindsight we did not need the extra side order of fries. THe portion served with my meal would have been plenty for the two of us. The space is small but very clean. Service is good, food is good, and the ambience is utilitarian but cheerful. The price is reasonable for the quality of the ingredients - under $30 for the two of us including tip and taxes. God so excited about eating the sandwich, I forgot to take a picture of the food, but did get a couple of pics of the signage. They came out so crisp and perfectly cooked but found it too salty for my liking ( is there an option to request unsalted or is that weird?) . Found out about this place through Yelp. Went back the following week to try some of the food. We got the spicy chicken sandwich with fries. It was good and my only complaint is the slaw was wet so it made my but fall apart. However, the slaw really makes the sandwich. My husband got the regular chicken sandwich and it was good also. The fries were so much better than the fast food fries around town. I was most happy to find that the chicken was cooked as many times I don't like to get chicken out because it is slimy and not cooked enough. This chicken was cooked enough and it was still not dry. It was quite tasty. I think some choices of sauce would give the customer a chance to add what they enjoy. Location is a bit hard to find enough off-street parking but they had indoor and outdoor spots to sit. Ours was a to go order.
