Pineapple ham
Rosa V.

Fast friendly service. This spot is popular spot with great pizzas ! Situated in the prime college area of the University of Nevada. Bar, pizza what more can you ask for ! I went for my usual pineapple and ham ( don't judge me ) crust is thick but overall the pizza is really good. I'm not a pizza person overall but this spot it right .

The wings are ridiculously small for the price. Dry and unpleasant to eat. I have ordered previously and never received such a thing. Better off eating elsewhere. 2 stars for the tater tots, those were good.

Great place to go before the Wolfpack football games, it's close to the parking lot. We usually can find a place sitting at the bar, our favorite place to sit. Our bartender, Amelie, was helpful when I was deciding which beer to choose, also. Good music is playing, quite a few tables are full, and people checking on us.

Garlic Knots (8) (I promise I did get 8 in my order but you really think I could've waited to eat one?? No way)
Leah H.

Ordered: Garlic Knots If there is one thing I need to tell you, it's get the ranch. The garlic knots are of course delicious on their own and don't need the ranch but YOU need this ranch in your life. We often reference "Rick's ranch" if we are trying a new ranch we say "yeah it's good, but it's not Rick's ranch good". This is the gold standard.

Our large party (30+, without a reservation) came in on a Friday afternoon and we were quickly accommodated. Imagine a whole baseball team of 9 year old boys, their parents and their siblings who just spent day 1 of their week long tournament out on the field. We were loud, excited and hungry! Max did an excellent job taking our order, checking in on us and was attentive the whole time despite being the only one there. Food was delicious, we all ordered a little bit of everything and it was all great. Thank you Max for hosting us and serving us a good meal. If we find ourselves in the area again, we'll be sure to be back!

This was my first time in Reno and I had such a beautiful experience at Rick's pizza. I got the cheese sticks and veggies pizza and it was definitely a lot of food for one person. The cheese bread was my favorite and the service was amazing

This was my first time ordering pizza and I was not disappointed! We ordered a 14" cheese pizza, pepperoni pizza and the Wolf Pack pizza. They were already good! Being able to order from them on the website was easy. Only issue is I was trying to call but the phone number doesn't work. Other than that, the service was great and they have a friendly staff. Thank you, Rick's Pizza!

Larry G.

Rick's is a great place to go before a Wolfpack game. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was very welcoming although it is a small dining area with a few spots at the bar. Beers available on-tap or bottles and served cold. The 2 pizzas we recommend are the Big Mackie or the Wolfpack. The former boasts pulled pork with a white creamy sauce and the latter a more traditional four meat with red sauce. It's a great place with the college vibe.

8/25/2025 decided to try this place for first time. Nice atmosphere, friendly people working there. But the meat lovers pizza was just OK.

The pizzas are the bomb! Decent price and friendly service. We will definitely visit a lot once our kiddo starts school in UNR.

Entrance with the sticky door.

Ordered ahead, thought the door was locked upon trying to enter. Bartender ran over and opened it, explaining it had been sticking. Got a soda to go and the Hawaiian pizza was amazing! Super Smokey ham and sweet cold pineapple! Yum! Place looked super cool. Almost ate the pizza there.

Beers on tap, I recommend the dirty wookie
Edgar Z.

We stopped by for a drink before heading across to UNR for a concert, great decision. So good, we came back after and got a couple more drinks, a pizza and wings to take home. It smelt so good that only half of the food made it home

Looks nice and tight

With their closing, I really wished I paid more patronage to this place. After a long day and the start to my weekend, I came in for a beer and joked with the bartender for the boot - which they actually do have! While the kitchen is closed (which is a shame since the food was true traditional German cuisine), they still have a full bar. There is indoor and outdoor seating shared with R Town Pizza, and with such nice weather and table settings, it makes for the perfect late afternoon spot. March 29th is the last day to enjoy your last pint of German beer... or boot of it...

Table or bar seating. Cool decor. Plenty of mall parking. Open 6 days a week from noon till 10pm, Sundays from 10am to 7pm, and closed on Mondays. Yelp's hours differ slightly. The kitchen closes 1 hour before closing time. Service - The usual long term 4.5 year guy (so sorry, I forgot his name) was welcoming and friendly. Then Erica came for the closing shift and was even more welcoming and friendly. I really like this place and enjoy taking all my guests here. Price - $26 + generous tip. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 2020; I bring all my German friends here, well all my friends that like German beer. That might be all of them, lol.

It was our first time going to a drag show and it was a blast having a Mother's day reunion this way. The entertainers were fun (Maria you're the best) and the drink service could have been a little faster. There were many of us at our table that ordered bottomless mimosas. The rest of our mommy's had tequila and other hard liquors. The food options at the outdoor parking lot were delicious. It did take some time. This parking lot is horribe. I recommend ride share or getting dropped off here so you don't have to leave your car downtown on the streets. This part of 4th street isn't the best area. Shout out to the hubbs for shuttling me. We'll have to come back and have beer on the other side. I love their peanut butter stout and usually have a chilled pack in my fridge in the Summer. Thanks to the Lead Dog for hosting The Twampson's drag brunch for a fun and memorable Mother's day celebration.

My latest visit with the Mrs I was excited to find Jai Alai from Cigar Brewing in FL, quite a find in Reno! My wife always enjoys their selection of sours, also a rare find in Reno since most bars don't have Sours on draft. The patio is always nice to enjoy although it was a little cold and windy so we enjoyed the indoor seating with a nice view. They also have some TVs around to enjoy the World Series or any other games based on the timing. I will also mention there is a happy hour although I didn't see it mentioned anywhere but when we came in around 5:30 on a Monday we received a dollar off each draft, nice bonus!

He was friendly, willing to engage us in conversation, allowed us to ask questions without making us feel bad, and, quite frankly, made the visit very special. What did he do that was special? Third, he provided the same customer service for everyone in the bar, not just my wife and I.
