Best pizza in Reno hands down. Was a little expensive for 2 larges but man it was worth it! The staff was super cool and they sell by the slice! It's a pick up and go but they are attached to an arcade with tables. Music blasting and the staff was having fun. If you're visiting def grab a slice or a whole pie! They nailed the extra mushrooms for my lady! Thank you guys!

Meh, I don't like reheated pizza. They make the pizza and then it sits there all day, until you come along, and they warm it back up for you. Gross. I don't know where these other people have been eating pizza at, that this is the best they've had lol it was super dry and got cold and tough and chewy. I couldn't even finish it, I was so annoyed about the time and money I wasted. The only reason they get 2stars is because I really love Press Start.

I was stoked to try this pizza when I learned the owner of R Town was behind it! While I love his Detroit style, I also love a good New York style slice. I thought the quality and flavor were excellent! We were even given an extra slice because they decided one of our was too small - great service! I'm excited to see what menu items they add later. The space is quite small, but I like that. It's nice to have a spot in town, that's walkable, to pop in for a quick slice, especially open a little later on the weekends. Midtown is missing that. I am hoping they can add some more outdoor seating though; they JUST opened, so I'm not knocking stars for that.

Pizza by the slice NY style! Big 18" pies. They will have wings and other apps in the future. This is the second pizza concept from Marvin of R-Town Pizza, featured on Diners, Drive Ins and Dives. The "White Pie" is olive oil, mozzarella, shaved lemon, ricotta and black pepper. This is the winner, it will make your toes curl. The Gabagool uses a mix of artisan ingredients and was our second favorite. They use the cupping pepperoni. Every slice has been a chef's kiss! The official opening is on the 30th of March. Great staff.

Small pizza shop next to the Press Start arcade. It was quite busy with a line at the register and many waiting for their pizza. I ordered a Brighton slice which is sausage, pepperoni, and ricotta. The wait was a little long, taking a little over 20 minutes, but the customer service was friendly despite coping with the rush. It was a good slice, I think the ricotta detracted from it a little bit, but great ingredients and flavor. Most slices are good value and hover around $4-6, a great pairing with the arcade. I'll definitely be back all the same.

Visit occurred earlier in April. Ordered 4 slices to share, and the ingredients and flavor didn't disappoint! We had the Brighton, Gabagool, The Deli and the White Pie. I was particularly impressed with the sweetness of the "hot honey" on the Gabagool and the spiciness of The Deli. My only critical feedback is the dough on one of the slices wasn't cooked all the way so that was unfortunately a bit disappointing, Hope to try more slices soon!

Dough Cheese Sauce was an integral part of welcoming us into a new home (we always have pizza the first night after we get keys). It was delicious! You can tell they use fresh ingredients. And the community really turned up for them! I'm so happy and hope they stick around for a long time.

Finally got the chance to try, absolutely delicious Can't wait to go back and try other slices. 100/10. Well done Marvin

I thought Dough Cheese Sauce was going to be a hit but it unfortunately was not. I would compare their single slices to the taste of pizza at Whole Foods--although cheaper at Whole Foods. They also offer full size pizza, for an insane price. This place is a pass.

Half classic half deli good size pizza

Fun atmosphere w/ great pizza half classic & half deli both really good. Pizza is a good size. The dough is amazing so soft. Located in a fun Spot connected to the arcade Press Start. They also have a bar lounge area with a built in play station & pool table.

Tried one of Reno's newer pizza spots that's been getting some local buzz, and it definitely has that laid back Midtown hangout feel. The space is compact, super casual, and the arcade games give it a fun neighborhood vibe that makes it easy to settle in. We went with two 18 inch New York style pies, the Midtown and a Tomato option. First impression, you can tell they're using solid ingredients. Everything tasted fresh, which is always a good sign. Where it lost me a bit was in the bake. Parts of the Midtown came out a little too dark, with a crust that leaned more crunchy than that classic foldable, chewy texture. The flavor also skewed on the saltier side with a bit of extra oil. The Tomato pie was the vegetarian pick, and options are a little limited if you don't eat meat, so just something to know going in. This one had a lighter, slightly sweet flavor with a hint of spice, but it didn't have as much depth as expected. The toppings were chopped pretty fine, which changed the texture, and it ended up tasting more like a simple cheese slice than something super herby or garlicky. Pricing sits in the $20-$30 range, which feels a little high at first, but these are full 18 inch pies so you are getting a decent amount of food. Still, for that price, you want the bake to be more consistent. Overall, it feels like a spot that's close to hitting its stride. The foundation is there with quality ingredients and a cool concept, but refining the crust would really pull everything together. I would be open to giving it another try down the line, especially to see how it evolves.

Best New York style pizza I've had in Reno! My favorite was the gabagool, deli was amazing too! Glad there's another by the slice place in town! Great prices, great pizza and a great time! Right next to press start arcade bar!

    Midtown

Service was friendly. Interior is clean but a little chaotic because the arcade has direct access. Expect to wait 5-10min for a slice of pizza but that may improve as the location matures. The pizza itself was good, not great. However, I will definitely return to give it another chance. The world needs more local slice shops.

The Verde without chicken came very close to filling the hole that has been left in our heart with the Grasshopper not on the menu currently. The Cherrypicker is one of our go to hits and never disappoints. And this was the first time I've tried the Brasare and the classic combo of pork and apple was delectable. Sometimes it's tough to get a really good crispy chicken wing out of a woodfired oven but this team nailed it in there, buffalo Parmesan sauce was divine, especially with a little bit of the house made ranch. The pizzas were also good, but I didn't like that. They served them in paper takeout boxes because even the short trip from the cutting table to us in that box steamed the pizza and made it super floppy.
