Meatball

Ordered pizza for football Sunday and it was a hit with everyone. We had the Meat Meat & More Meat, The Tahoe, Meatball, and Bacon Jalapeño Bites.

This is my favorite pizza place in Reno. It's a half mile walk from the hotel. However, I advise not walking the streets of Reno after dark.

Wings should have been more crispy. They were a decent size, very juicy. Very flavorful. We were greeted at the counter once, then never acknowledged after that. Nice spot, decent ambiance. Value for the wings were good. We also got a pepperoni pizza.

I go to Reno about 4 times per year and usually arrive around 9pm. I have tried various casino dining options and can say that the City does not have an excellent selection of late night dining options. As I walk through the city, dozens of restaurants close up for the night. At times it appears a complete ghost town. I have eaten dozens of times at Pizanos. The pizza is not very good. The crust isn't made by high quality ingredients, too much cheese is used and the toppings can be bland. I think Dave Portney would go on a rant about how poor the overall taste of the pizza is. HOWEVER the staff is great, the value is there and you could do far worse at other nearby pizza places.

Pizza was really good, loved the crispy crust and flavors. We also ordered the Buffalo wings. Wings sauce was prefect, and. the wings where crispy, and juicy when you bite into them. Staff was also very polite and helpful. Would definitely stop back here on my next trip to Reno.

Ordered through Uber eats- highly disappointed I ordered a 10" 4 cheese w/ pepperoni. I requested XXTRA, XXTRA sauce as well as butter and parm. As you can see, it's super dry with no sauce, let alone extra. The bake was super light as the pepperoni taste like it was straight out the pack. The cheese was okay. Crust? What crust? Might as well been frozen pizza cardboard, at least it's something to chew. Not sure what I was charged for as you can see upon opening, no parm!

Mrs. E. loves this pizza. I do not. It's not bad, there are a few others in town that top it and it just doesn't pack a punch for me. The attraction to Pizanos for me is their sandwiches. Especially, the meatball and the bbq chicken. Something you have to try is the Penne noodles in the edible pasta bowl. That's more fun than anything! I admit I'm curious about the wings. I've read good things and a couple neighbors have backed that up. Clearly we have more research to do by way of tasting. They are at Sierra and 1st, just up from the water. We had a little difficulty with parking so now we mostly call for delivery. At least they're reliable. They're fast, too. On both our visits the folks were terrific. It's a smaller dining area with a handful of tables but quite cozy and convenient. They are pretty quick to get your order made and served. 12/24

Food is delicious, staff is friendly and they keep the place clean. I love coming here when I'm at the river walk.

Decent pizza!

I was over at the Italian festival, but I didn't stay very long. All of the food booths had ridiculously long lines, and the prices were pretty ridiculous. The food may have been good, but it wasn't worth waiting for....... I was walking back to my hotel, and I passed this place.. The place was clean, and everybody was very friendly. As I was putting in my order, I joked with the clerk that I had "just left the Italian festival". Another lady sitting at a table, said "me, too!" She said that the pizza slices there looked very small, and the prices were ridiculous. So she also just came here instead. We chatted for a few minutes on how humongous that festival had become. Not nearly what it used to be. I had two slices. I had a veggie slice, and a chicken bacon Alfredo slice. The slices were huge, and they were delicious! Lots of cheese, lots of toppings, lots of everything. The crust was also just the right texture as well. I really really enjoyed my lunch. I had the special, two slices and a soda, and I paid just shy of 10 bucks before tip. An amazingly great price, for some fabulous pizza. Plus, they are extremely close to the movie theaters, so it would be a good place to stop either before or after your movie. I will be back. Thanks.

Slice Combination pizza with small drink

Working downtown during the week, there are few places you can walk to without your total being $15+. This location serves pizza by the slice which is rare to come across nowadays! The shop itself stays clean despite the wide array of people that come in and out of the location The menu includes whole pizzas, wings, and calzones among other specialities. My go to for lunch has often been their pizza by the slice accompanied by a regular drink. Some of their regular pizza offerings include pepperoni, combo, cheese, veggie, and chicken bacon. They have a rotating specialty pizza every day of the week, but I tend to stick to combo or pepperoni. The pizza sits out but is but through a rotating oven which warms and keeps the crispness of the pizza slice. The dough is thin which I prefer in pizza - but can be messy as it does not stay together when picking up. I would say pizza is alright when you are looking for something (cheaper) and convenient in the downtown area. My family and I have come after a movie night out at Riverside Theatre and weekends tend to be busy and family friendly inside - but the small outdoor patio area could use a good cleaning and clearing out along with the bar guests next door taking over the outdoor family ambiance in the evenings.

Hands down, this is the best sandwich I've ever had in a two state radius…read more I ordered the Chicken Cheese Steak Sandwich with all the veggies on their fresh, in-house baked jalapeno cheddar cheese bread, and it was absolutely incredible. The bread was soft, fresh, and packed with flavor, while the chicken steak was perfectly cooked, juicy, and seasoned just right. Every bite was better than the last. My wife ordered the Cheese Steak Sandwich with no veggies and we both agreed these were some of the best sandwiches we've ever eaten. The staff made the experience even better. Everyone was welcoming, friendly, and genuinely seemed to care that customers had a great experience. The restaurant has a classic deli atmosphere that feels comfortable and inviting. The biggest compliment I can give is this: I'm already going back for the third time in one week because I can't stop craving that Chicken Cheese Steak Sandwich on the jalapeno cheddar bread. If you're anywhere near Full Belly Deli, do yourself a favor and stop in. You won't regret it.

To be fair I only tried one item, the Thai chicken wrap and it wasn't bad but it was a huge mostly cabbage presentation. Really there was very little chicken in it. I couldn't detect any peanut flavor in the Thai chicken sauce. Perhaps I should have tried a different item? The service was great, atmosphere was non existent, it's a bleak boring dining area. The only cool thing was the stickers on the front window. If I get back to Reno this place would be low on my return list. UPDATE: After receiving a message from the owner I plan to return to Full Belly Deli and try something different. It's tough to make a decision with the extensive menu and as I felt instinctively while there. The Thai Chicken Burritos wasn't the best choice especially when they may lots of breads in house. I'm sure I will be back within the next year, as soon as my client destroys the work I did on my last trip.

Now that's just my opinion about the food someone else might feel differently and that's ok. What really bothered me and the main reason I won't be giving this place a second chance is because of what happened while I was there. I'd never been here so decided to try it. We chose to sit in the court yard because even though there was trash and it wasn't clean and furniture was just stacked on top of each other in the corner of the entrance it was quieter for me then inside. And it looked ok plus it was a nice day to sit outside. Well even all that wasn't the problem. The part that bothered me was how a situation was handled. A homeless guy entered the courtyard and was really drugged and under the influence and he was covered in feces and he was very badly injured and was nodding off near me going in and out. He looked like he was going to overdose and then he wakes up and walks over to me and asks me for food. I said yes. Which I truly had no problem giving him food if that's what he needed. But his behavior left me and other uneasy feeling and so I had my knife out hidden just in case. A family of 10 was sitting next to us and felt so uncomfortable they went inside. So I go inside to order what the guy wanted and asked him to please wait on the side walk before I went in to order. So I get to the register and I explain to the cashier that there is a very drugged guy nodding off in the courtyard and that I didn't mind buying him food but could he give it to him and take the chance to tell him to please stay out of the courtyard and on the side walk. I explain I was disabled prier to this when I ordered for myself earlier and I am a 5"1 female and felt uneasy going back to the homeless guy alone. I asked the cashier if he could give the guy his food and ask him to please stay out of the courtyard and on the sidewalk. The cashier said no to me cause he didn't feel comfortable going up to a guy who was on drugs and acting the way he was. I told him another reason I had bought this guy food was so that he would wait outside which he did and this guy couldn't even do anything to help me. So your customer doesn't feel safe and you can't ask this person to please go on the sidewalk cause you are scared? Also i don't know what reason they have for not having the corner of the courtyard clean and trash picked up. This isn't my business and I did what I could to help since I saw the family feel uncomfortable and no one at THE FIX or any other restaurant there was doing anything? So if you don't care about a customers concerns I don't care to support you. I could honestly have overlooked the fact that it wasn't the best falafel I myself have ever had but I can't support a business who doesn't care about their costumers. Edited After speaking to someone at The Fix: I called to speak to someone about this. Apparently the guy has autism. Ok well then idk I'm disabled I have autism and I don't know what to say about that. I am not mad if this is the case but it doesn't change the experience I had. I am understanding being legally disabled myself but I wish i would of been able to speak to someone else about it who could of helped me with this concern. The guy I spoke to on the phone informed me I could have spoken to any of the businesses as there are multiple and I could of asked any one else for help and they would of helped me. But I went to THE FIX NOT ANY OF THE OTHER ESTABLISHMENT. So I feel it was THE FIXs responsibility to help me since I was their customer. Well all that aside once again i dont know why the courtyard is dirty and there is trash and chairs and tables piled on top of each other in the corner of the entrance. Your courtyard is a really nice feature and maybe you guys should keep it nice and clean. Like I said it was nice outside but not clean. Go here if you'd like this was my experience and there for I won't be returning. Sorry but you can go check it out yourself if you wish.
