So glad we happened to find this spot! Every interaction we had with staff was great. The food was all really good. I have been looking for a wing spot that has a good selection with good wings. I got flats only for an extra charge (absolutely fine and expected). The fries were something that really stood out and I can't stop thinking about them. Thanks to Cicely in the back for the cooking our food and for being so kind in conversation with us. Everything is fresh so please be patient with the staff. Come here to relax and enjoy the company. Can't wait to come back and get sooo many wings :)

My friends and I were looking for a place to get wings, and one of my friends suggested this place. I love trying out new restaurants and foods, so we decided to go. I really liked how they had the bar side separated from the restaurant side. They do have tables where the bar is as well! Staff were SUPER friendly and we felt very welcomed! They had a very chill and cozy vibe. Foodwas great! I really loved how the outside was crispy, while the meat was still juicy and not dry! They have MANY flavors to choose from. They have appetizers as well, but we didn't get any because we just wanted wings! One cool little thing I noticed was that they have a little food pantry up front. That showed me they really cared about the people of Reno! I will definitely be returning to support them, and satisfy my wing cravings!

Wing King 775 is the perfect mix of great food and a great atmosphere. This time we came as a family and enjoyed sampler plates with flavors like the #19 Jerk Hot, #30 Hot Honey Garlic, #34 Spicy Teriyaki, #37 Buffalo, and #43 Spicy Honey BBQ -- every wing was crispy, juicy, and full of flavor. The atmosphere makes it such a great chill spot to hang out, whether you're coming in with family or friends. Melissa gave us wonderful service and really made us feel welcome. On top of that, their after-hours scene is a lot of fun too...the energy is always up, and it's the kind of place where you can celebrate or just kick back and enjoy the night.

Great wings and beer in a somewhat divey setting. Service has always been excellent coming here. They have tons of different flavors including Cinnamon Toast crunch and many other unique flavors. I like to go for a dry rub (lemon pepper) with a sauce on side (hot) for sauce control and maximum crispiness. Complimentary veggies are always a plus for me to sop up that extra blue cheese. Worthy of a stop to satisfy a wing craving

How long did these sit before you gave them to me or did you just toss old fries back in the fryer?

Man, I was so hyped to try this place after watching the Hellfire wing challenge on youtube. I'm always down to subject myself to pain and suffering in order to find the spicest grub in town but this place really let me down. Went in here today and there was only 2 customers in the whole place, it has a nice ambiance, probably the best in town as far as wing places go. It felt dim and cozy. As far as food, I got the inferno wings and fries and my food was done in under 8 min, which I didn't think much about because it was slow but it should have been a red flag. One thing that really really ticks me off is when the kitchen can't even get fries right. They take like 5 min in a fryer so there is no excuse to get limp, soggy overseasoned crap. Either I got someone else's left over Doordash order or they tossed some old heat lamp radiated fries back in the fryer to heat them up. The lone piece of celery was also warm and limp. The wings were the same way, like they were precooked and sitting in a warmer for a while but they were at least edible and I thought the sauce had nice flavor and although not the spicest chicken I've had in town, they do pack a punch. All in all, there are half a dozen great places to get good wings in town but I wouldn't call Wing King one of them. Biggest food disappointment of the year for me so far.

Delicious wings with so many different flavors to choose! I was having trouble to pick, because they all sounded great! Recommend going there on Wednesday that they offer special, which gives you more for cheaper price. The staff there are super friendly, giving us great recommendations and telling us about their specialties. Definitely will be back again!

Had a great night a "The King". Walked in for some wings and left fully satisfied. With some playoff football on they had a great special for 1lb of wings, though they seem to have it on various nights and values throughout the week. I had Tres Garlic Hot which were amazing!! Not overly spicy - if you like spice. We also had the garlic parm dry rub - not that dry with the butter added but delicious. I followed up with Teriyaki Hot but a little too sweet. Great wings, great drinks and great service! If you want wings in Reno then Wing King should be on the list, if not at the top. Enjoy!!!

Wing Wednesday anyone? Come here for $8 a lb wings. So many flavors. It feels like wing fest summed up in to one restaurant. Wing King's entry is even filled with several Wing Fest Trophy's. Impressive! This place is pretty casual. Bar seating on one side with more tables near the kitchen on the other side. We've tried the wings, Gouda bites, and fries. We learned you can ask for the fries without the batter. The only con for us is that the back room near the kitchen does smell a little like fryer oil so we sit away from the kitchen doorway. Our favorite wing flavor is the Jamaican Jerk Hot. I've never liked Mac n Cheese bites anywhere else, but these Gouda bites have a nice crisp to them and we'd definitely order them again. The waitresses are welcoming and the restaurant has been well staffed whenever we are there.

I finally get to pop into Wing King! The place was empty around 5pm. Literally one table of 3, table of 2 behind me and me! With this, I'm not sure if the other side was packed or not. I sure hope it was to explain the slow service. 3 large screen TVs on the bar side. I should have waited a day to catch the Lions & Greenbay game! Definitely looks like a nice spot to watch the game at! We got to a point where we were hesitant to ask for anything because it would take forever to get it. We never got water, im assuming it's something you have to ask for rather than automatically receive here. I asked what cognac and was told Hennessy. So I order a Margarita, only to discover they in fact DO have Remy VSOP. Bummer Sean didn't know what liquor this was. Margarita was nasty. So glad I found my drink for my shot! Food: I could tell by the photos this would be like a Buffalo Wild Wings type of local place and it is. Wings have no flavor. If it wasn't for the sauces, this would be a dud. The chicken looks and takes just like BDubs- no season on the chicken just fried and dipped. There's about 100 options of sauces, I think that's the whole gimmick. Honey BBQ- Basic for me Jamaican sweet chili- REALLY GOOD Old Bay- Salty but it's old bay! lol great for a wake up after drinks for sure! Fries- did I say amaze balls? They're battered so gooooooood Onion rings - good, crispy, the onion inside isn't all mushy and soft. Really good I wouldn't say these are the best wings in the area. I am from Detroit and prefer flavorful whole wings. If you like BDubs then this is your place. Condiments come in small containers. I understand if it was TO GO but this was super annoying to me. You're automatically given ranch- which I hate- I prefer blue cheese. Would be nice to ask rather than assume everyone likes ranch. They DO offer military discounts which is a plus! My friend had the fried banana pudding which looked and smelled great. I don't eat bananas unfortunately didn't taste it! Comes with ice cream rather cool whip though? Sean & the other young lady were REALLY nice, just REALLY SLOW

We were drawn to this restaurant for the Awfully Midtown Burger, their take on the Awful Awful at the old Little Nugget. First, the restaurant is located on the south end of Midtown, with plenty of parking in the back. It has a sports bar feel, with plenty of seating and sports paraphernalia on the walls. The service was fantastic. Stella, who served us, was outstanding, very attentive, and friendly. Every other staff member we encountered was very pleasant and welcoming when we walked in. The food was good. The Awfully Midtown was juicy, the vegetables fresh, and very flavorable. The fried pickles and onion rings were crunchy and done right. The only area for improvement were the wings. They were dry and overcooked. I'll give the wings a try again later, as it could be a bad batch or just a one-time cooking error. Overall, will return.

I found myself up in Reno on a 49ers game day because I had some work done on my truck sooo... I had to figure out a place to watch the game. Honestly, Buffalo Wild Wings came to mind as a possibility - mainly due to my familiarity with the chain - but BWW was clear across town from my location, so I looked for something closer and Wing King caught my eye. My first impression walking in the door was "friendly"... since I'm already comparing against BWW, I'll say the Wing King is a much cozier environment - both size-wise and general atmosphere. I was wearing a 49er jersey for game day, so it was pretty apparent that I was there for the game and the staff suggested a few places for me to sit so I could have a good view of the TV(s). And then, I was given the "bad news" that several tables in the middle of the dining room were reserved for Raider fans! (the enemy!) So if you're a Raiders fan, this appears to be a place Raiders fans hang out. The owner of Wing King was nice - he even called his son to come keep me company (his son is a 49ers fan). We all got along... I even bought some raffle tickets from the Raiders group. I didn't win any Raider swag, which is fine by me - haha. Anyway, back to Wing King - wow - so many flavors for wings - far more than any other wing place I've been to. They obviously have the typical flavors but also some very creative ones. It'll definitely take awhile to try all the different flavors I wanted to try. Drinks were great too! They have a full bar, so lots of options. Needless to say, I was well hydrated for the duration of the game. Well done, Wing King... I won't hesitate to drop by again some time when I'm in town.

Paid for 2 pounds of wings (and paid an additional $6 for flats). Received just over 1 pound of wings. Owner refused to refund the order.

Don't waste your money here. I ordered two pounds of wings from Wing King (and paid an additional $6 for all flats). When I got home I weighed my wings and I only had 1 pound and 2 ounces, nearly a pound shy of what I ordered. When I brought this up with the staff, they were very kind and said they would go get the owner to explain. When the owner came she told me that they weigh their wings before cooking which is understandable. But it is not possible for two pounds of raw flat wings to cook down to 1 pound 2 ounces including sauces. The owner was very short tempered and refused to refund my order. As I had expressed before, the general staff at Wing King are awesome, but the owner is extremely unprofessional. I ended up leaving with no food and no refund.

Having 1 pound of wings in different flavors so we all got to try something different.
