    Mac and cheese chicken

I could see why people like this but I certainly didn't. Their Mac and cheese chicken looked like throw up and had way too much sauce.

Some of the best hot chicken in Reno! I have been coming to this location for about two years now and have always walked always saying it's some of the best fries in town. Very well seasoned and huge portions! The service is always very fast and on point with a special requests I make. This location is their newest one but it's always very clean inside and staff is super nice!!!

This is how Yelp Elite events help family owned businesses long term. We are hardly ever in the South of Reno, but I found myself scrolling thru Yelp looking for somewhere to eat. We are familiar with Crazy D's from the events at the original shop, and knew we couldn't go wrong. Just like everywhere the prices have gone up, but the quality and quantity are still great. 3 people around $60, but that was everything, and we all had leftovers. Congratulations on the new locations, including the onE near UNR.

Crazy hot? Yeah but don't be afraid because it's delicious. No lie. I was asked about changing my order no less than 6 times, and after watching the cook make my order with a shirt over his nose, I thought about it, but it proved to be perfect for me, just as I remembered before. Now I won't recommend crazy to anyone who says "oh I like spicy" because this is another level of heat and you need to be prepared. You'll smell it before you see it. You'll feel it before you eat it. And it'll linger with you for quite a while. But it's a pleasurable pain that builds on itself as you enjoy it, and when combined with their house sauce, it fades to the perfect background note of fire I love in spicy food. Smelling the aromas of the fiery seasoning on the ride home had me a bit teary eyed, both from the anticipation of the food I'd be enjoying and the super spice level I chose, and admittedly I was a bit nervous! That was amped up after licking my fingers from placing the giant tenders in the air fryer to warm up, being met by a wave of heat I wasn't quite ready for I guess. But after cutting the tenders up (recommended just because they're massive) I loved every bite of them! So if you think you can handle the heat then crazy it up, otherwise enjoy it how you like it!

It's good to try different chicken sandwich places to compare. Crazy D's has a thick, breaded chicken with a kick to it. We got the mild spice, and I can't imagine what the hot is like. The fries are good when fresh, and they give some dressing with it. Yum! It's a different kind of chicken sandwich, so you just have to give it a try!

Revised: Crazy D's sells fried chicken tender sandwiches. Giant spicy ones. I ordered mine mild but it was still too spicy for me. I guess I could order it without sauce next time and see if I like it. Also, I wish this chicken had a lighter batter. Usually I prefer less batter, but I'm sure others like the crunch. Just a personal preference. On a positive note, the fries were good, the cashier was friendly and the seating area was clean and comfortable.

Love love love their chicken. Nicely seasoned and the spice is on point. I always get combo #2 medium for $15.95+tax. It's honestly a good price since it's 2 sandwiches and some fries. My husband and I always share. Their comeback sauce is so delicous, that I definitely have to order an extra. Their employees are welcoming and attend to you quickly. It's a small restaurant but it's still a good place to take a group of 6 people. I definitely recommend this local hot chicken spot!

Disappointing. Last two times I've had Crazy D has been a let down, especially paying nearly $19 for the meal. The portion size has went down, they should change the pricing to reflect it. Crazy Mac was watery and lacked flavor. As you can see in the picture, the plate wasn't even covered. Both times the food was cold, like the Mac and cheese was in the fridge and scooped out. Big let down from a good spot. Don't know if they changed ownership or management, but quality needs to improve.

Combo #1- 2 Giant Tenders with Fries

Crazy D's has absolutely delicious chicken, I don't know what they put in their sauce but it is soooo good! Amazing on the sliders and the fries. The portions are very generous and the chicken is so juicy and tender. You can customize your spice level, I personally love the hot. If you haven't been here before, definitely give this place a try!!

Arnie's is locally owned and family run and we were so glad we finally made the time to stay and wait for a table. They were BUSY, but it was so worth the wait. This is spacious restaurant with variety, quality food, decent servings at a great price. Miguel was our server, he was charming and helpful navigating all the choices on the menu. I looked over their specials board and I was so happy to see they offered specialty coffees and non dairy options for milk. I was spoiled with an espresso machine for my birthday this year, so I've become an espresso snob and I didn't get my fix at home before leaving for brunch, so I started with their dulce de Leche iced latte, my daughter had an iced matcha latte, and my sister ordered a mocha. I had to have their steak and eggs. My kids ordered pancakes and eggs, my sister ordered their stuffed french toast. Everything was cooked perfectly and the smell of pancakes were amazing that I caved and had more than two bites; every bite was heavenly. I can't wait to come back with the rest of our family. This was the best breakfast I've had in awhile. Thank you Miguel for your service and the rest of the staff for from getting us served so quickly after we were seated.

The patio seating was perfect for enjoying live music on a warm evening. The dishes have some of the freshest ingredients and most complex flavors I've tasted in town - outshining many restaurants with significantly higher price points. The best thing is that there's something on the menu for everyone - fusion Italian, American, Latin, and Asian. The one thing I'd like to see in the future is a dedicated dance floor when there's live music - especially with the patio advantage. People started carving out their own dancing space anyway (and unintentionally blocked the view of the stage for others). It's worth noting that it's not easy to find parking in this area, so be sure to leave yourself plenty of time for street parking.

I wasn't sure what to expect ordering such a simple meal at a gourmet restaurant but I was really happy with my choice. Chicken was great, veggies were fresh and a great portion, sauce was delicious, bun was nice and soft. And it came with a ton of fries that I wasn't even able to finish. My friend also got a beet salad that she shared with me and it was so good probably the best beet salad I've had. Now for the bad. The parking here is absolutely horrible. Part of me hates complaining about street parking because the restaurant really doesn't control that, but the other part of me can't understand why you would open a restaurant in a town with very low walkability/ public transport, in an area with no parking.... I had to park a few streets away, the streets had no sidewalks so I was forced to walk in the street, and overall felt unsafe walking by myself to the restaurant. For this alone, I probably wouldn't come back.... Second, we sat outside and there was live music playing and it was so loud we couldn't hear a single person at the table. We came for book club and we literally had to wait for the band to have a break and then quickly talk as fast as possible about the book before they started their next song. We specifically sat outside because we some of the girls at our meeting had been to La condessa before and said the acoustics inside are bad and it's loud and hard to hear. Last point being service. Pretty horrible service I was very disappointed. Took forever to get our orders. One order came out wrong but our friend ate it anyway. Two orders never came out at all. The staff had to be reminded to bring things out constantly. 3 of our party didn't get their ordered cocktails until half way through the dinner and about 35 minutes after the ordered them. The waitress seemed frazzled and kept saying sorry I'm busy, but then did nothing to rectify or put any extra attention to our table despite seeing over and over that she was failing. Not sure if this was an off night, outdoors didn't seem that busy. Maybe inside was busier im not sure. Overall was not impressed with the service and too loud to talk but if you come with a smaller party and want to listen to loud music, then it's probably a good spot for you. And the food is great

Mmmmm Peachy- fresh peaches with just the right amount of rosemary were grilled, then melted in with Munster and pork belly. And the fabulous earthy epoisses. Accompanied by a light Chablis Premier Cru. Intermission salad was a delightful light creation of arugula, pine nuts, Parmigianno, and lemon. Truffle Shuffle- when you thought chef couldn't top the previous bites. Rich savory caramelized onions and mushrooms, micro greens, fontina, and caccio Al tartufo. Just had to be paired with a barolo. Strawberry Delight- kept the theme. Grilled croissant bread layered with strawberry coulis, Nutella, strawberries, mascarpone and mozzarella. And a beautiful light brut rosé. I love a grilled cheese, but this dinner really spoiled me. No simple cheese and white bread will ever be acceptable again. Chef Arcelia paired me with a lovely flavored Pellegrino. My husband had the over easy eggs with bacon and home potatoes and there was nothing over easy about it , the eggs were more well done defeating the purpose. The bacon was plentiful on his plate and was the only good part of either meal. I had the sausage omelette it also was dryer amd overdone and the sausage was baked into the outside of the omelette and there was nothing on the inside.
