Our food literally took 40 minutes to come out! When we finally received our food, in disbelief, I literally checked my receipt for the time stamp . I must admit, the chicken was really good. And the sauce was amazing. But the wait was comical. I should've guessed that something was not right after I ordered and sat down. There were about eight other parties that were in the restaurant and none had food. There were also several door dashers waiting at the entrance and all of us were growing increasingly impatient as ten minute increments ticked by with no sign of our food. Granted every 10 minutes or so, the friendly and apologetic server would come out with a bag of food for a single guest while the dozen of us was left empty handed with our stomachs rumbling. When our food finally came out, the server indicated that they were out of mac and cheese and that it was going to take "another half hour" if we wanted to wait! The restaurant was clean and had adequate seating for dining in. I ordered the combo with two tenders and fries and I also ordered the Inferno Smash Burger and a side of Cole Slaw. I was told it would be about 15 minutes before it was ready. After 30 minutes I checked on my order and it was ready soon after. I also noticed the side of Cole Slaw was missed. The tenders were hot and juicy on the inside but lacking any flavor. The hot spice coating on the chicken was hot but very bland. The Inferno Smash was an average burger with sliced jalapeños. Mac and Cheese- this Mac and Cheese is elbow macaroni with a thick cheesy sauce. For 5 dollars it's a hearty portion and my toddler loved it. Crazy Fries- this was the real deal! They let you choose your spice level and we went with medium to try it out. It's got a nice kick but nothing crazy. The tenders were juicy and had a crunchy shell at the same time. Pair it with a breading that isn't too crispy, but crispy enough to give you a bite. That's what we like to see! Came here Friday evening to finally try this place out with my little family. We ordered the Mac and cheese for our little and it came out a bit cold but the flavor was good. My husband got the inferno jalapeño burger and he said that it was tasty and he would order that again. Me and my little got the chicken tender meal and it came with coleslaw on it the chicken breading was so fried and thick it was way to hard to so I stripped the outside of it off and we ate the chicken, I definitely wouldn't order that again. Swung by both visits around 8pm (thanks for being open later!) with the store clear but the doordash alarm & pickup orders staying busy. First visit I went with the #3 combo at medium heat - a giant tender & a chicken slider, with seasoned fries. The chicken itself was absolutely delicious and although the slider got a little saucey from the coleslaw, the flavor was worth it! My bun got a little mushed from the drive home but thankfully held up ok and still tasted great. Medium heat is the perfect choice to get the flavor but not have your mouth burning. Fries weren't the best, tasted like they were "from a frozen bag" you could pick up at any grocery store. Came with a nice sweet honeymustard dipping sauce. 2nd visit i went with an Inferno Jalapeno Smash Burger and a #4 combo (Slider & Fries), this time kicked up a notch at Hot heat which was great if you like a bit more of a lingering burn! The price of the burger alone at $9.50 was a little steep, but what isn't these days. Very flavorful and the jalapenos were just the right amount of heat. I had high hopes for this place since it's close by, but honestly it was a letdown. Came in around 2-3pm on a normal day and the place was completely empty. The inside feels unfinished -- exposed ceiling beams, soda machine equipment out in the open, just kind of bare and uninviting. Only two people working, and the vibe was off. The cashier was constantly sipping from her water bottle, which was awkward, and the food didn't make up for it. Fries tasted like the oil needed to be changed. I thought they were going to be "sauced" like other places so I was surprised to see them "dry". I got the medium and it had enough heat for me. The chicken was juicy and full of flavor. The fries were crispy and had a sprinkle of the seasoning. The sauce is very mayo based which I wasn't sure I'd like. It is ok but I can totally taste the mayo. They add a nice thick slice of grilled bread which soaks up the grease from the chicken and it was spicy! I also had the OG smash burger and it was a greasy mess with lots of the crazy sauce which made the whole thing fall apart. Next time I would ask for no sauce because it was drowning in it. I had a burger and let me tell you, the meat is thiccc and juicy, the cheese creamy, very satisfying. If you're feeling spicy, the crazy fries will curl your toes. The sitting area not only is dirty and bugs and cobwebs everywhere, but there is NO restroom. We were the only ones in there for a while and our food took a long time to make. I get that it's fresh but just took longer than you would think. The employees were also not friendly and had a careless vibe. When we got our food it was barely edible and by far the worst chicken place in the Reno area (and we've tried many of them!). Even the fries went to the trash which says a lot! One employee walked in the front door from being outside with a coke and belched loudly as he opened the door. -Ceiling unfinished, raw 2x4 supports and insulation visible, not even sprayed with paint, lights hanging down. -No bathroom. -Soda machine on a steel prep table, CO2 tank and hoses visible- couldn't even put effort into the soda machine. -Ordered 9 wings, split mango habanero and buffalo. Didn't get buffalo they gave us BBQ! WE WERE THE ONLY CUSTOMERS! -BBQ sauce might as well have been sweet baby rays-nothing special. -Habanero sauce wasn't spicy in the slightest. -Wings were fried fine... but they are wings, how hard is that? -Here is the KICKER- There was so much BBQ sauce on the wings that after we cleaned up with napkins our hands were still sticky. So, we asked for wet wipes. Dude said they didn't have any, but he said he would ask management again. A guy in the back said, "We've had a lot of customers requesting wet wipes. Maybe if enough people ask, we'll get them." Great new addition to the area. I tried the #2 combo and a side of Mac & cheese. It said 2 sliders so I assumed they were small buns with a small chunk of chicken in it. Nuh -uh! These were two full size chicken sammies and the side of Mac & cheese was also a generous portion. This meal could have fed two normal people but I'm not normal so I ate almost all of it. The chicken was flavorful and tender and way bigger than the bun. The ingredients all tasted fresh and I really liked the secret sauce. I opted for medium heat and it had a pretty good kick but was not too hot. For those not into hot, they also offer mild or country style. The fries were excellent (crunchy , not soggy and well seasoned). I also give the mac & cheese two thumbs. Great flavor and texture. Staff was friendly and service was prompt.
