Stopped in for dinner first visit to MB grill. The food is okay. nothing exciting. The fried rice is underwhelming in my opinion, it's little wet like it cooked with too much water, it's has no taste to it. Aside the fried rice. The noodles and other toppings I had and the seasoning makes up, for it. The noodles are savory. I mixed the fried rices into the noodles, since the fried rice lacks flavoring and it's wet. Fried rice needs texture and little less water. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is dead quiet, possibly 4or 5 family around.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I was briefly seated, the wait staff brought my water that's the only interaction I had the wait staff through out the night. Service could been better. Other than bringing the food and water. After trying this place, I'm not sure if I want to try again.

5/16/25- My gym buddy recommended I try this spot- It's really been difficult to find a good Mongolian Bbq..but I found one now! A special review for me #1800th.. Wow! Service attentive- I like the ordering on paper- it was kind of fun! Only minus- Korean rib was very chewy.. All the sauces blended well .. Ordered the fried won tons- nice that there were six... lol.. Definitely coming back!

first time here lots of parking MB Grill could have done a lot better with all of the sauces added to the dish, still lacked flavor and the proteins were not marinated the steak was frozen and definitely not fresh, had a poor purple/pink/stale red color and was chewy every protein on the plate was mediocre smells good, but taste and quality was not there

Chicken and shrimp with some veggies and noodles and fried rice.

I thought this place was pretty good! You build your own stir fry on a piece of paper and we had our meals within 5 minutes. We both ordered the large so we could have leftovers and both had plenty for a full meal the next day as well. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a fairly big place and they seat you - you don't order at the counter.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Only downside was I wish there was more flavor in the sauce but maybe I didn't order the right one. I'll try it again for sure though!

This place lets you make your own customized Mongolian bbq plate. The staff quickly gets you seated. You will get a sheet that allows you to make your own bowl. It's good because it has alot of options. They come over grab your sheet and come back with your food. It would be cool to see them cook it more in front of you but it's not a deal breaker. The food is good but sometimes I feel like double up on the sauces to get a little more flavor. It's a different spot from the normal food options. It's a good place but still on the hunt for a little more!

Nice stop in Spanish Springs. Service is prompt and polite, and [[HIGHLIGHT]]there was plenty of seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My short rib beef was kind of chewy but the plate itself was satisfying. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Asian theme thruout, the place was well lit and comfortable[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. Im coming back. Check it out.

Hi underrated! I came to this place for the first time and was completely blown away. As you enter, it's an older restaurant nothing fancy, so your perception based on that you say the food should be ok. Ha! I was completely wrong, don't ever judge a book by its cover. This is hands down the best Mongolian food in Reno! There's other Mongolian restaurants (big chains) that's been in Reno for years, but they have absolutely nothing on this place. Staff are friendly, sufficient and attentive. The quality, the flavor and the portion size is amazing!!!!! I love that I can customize it to exactly what I want and not pick from already made meals with the sauces they choose. It's great! I will be a cover customer. The house sauce is

beef short ribs, Beef Udon Noodle (S), egg rolls

DON'T LET THE BAD REVIEWS DISCOURAGE YOU! I came here for lunch for the first time and the waiter was amazing. He was super helpful and fast on the refills, also checked in multiple times to make sure we had everything we needed! His recommendations were also very on point! I ordered the beef short ribs and beef for my bowl with udon noodles with the waiters recommendation of the Korean and house sauces and it was delectable and a great portion size! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place was very clean and had an adorable patio![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

The wife and we're looking for somewhere to eat after shopping and found this gem. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Cool place laid back the food was fast and delicious.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] You pick what you want and they make it for you. We got the small bowls and were a lot of food. The appetizers were yummy. We will definitely be back for sure! The staff is super friendly!

Love this place. We're here every week. Great price and plenty of food for leftovers, which are just a good of not better the footwork day. Make sure to get a large plate!

Ask the Community - MB Grill

Do they have an AYCE (All You Can Eat) option as posted on some of the menu pictures? If so, what is the cost?

    They do not.

Do they let you tamp down your bowls here?

You don't make a bowl here. You select your proteins and veggies off of a list and they prepare the food for you. They are generous portions.

Does anyone know if they use MSG?

They don't used any MSG at all.

Could you please post a menu? I'm tired of going into a place blind, and having to be disappointed in the flavor, quality, or prices

I posted the "menu" in the pics . It is prices only. The selection of food is not posted.

One thing we noticed right away was that the bonchon was already set on the tables before guests arrived. It wasn't a large spread--just a small tin of cheese corn and a divided tray with kimchi, bean sprouts, and fish cake--not sure how long they were left out and did look and taste dry. The servers seemed to work well together. Different team members checked on us, cleared dishes, served food, and helped other's tables. Once it got busier, they also used robot servers to help deliver food. We started with the salad with house dressing and the popcorn chicken. Both were good, and the chicken was nice and moist. For the BBQ, we ordered the Chardol, Ju Mul Luck, Hawaiian Steak, Tri-Tip Bulgogi, and Galbi (short ribs). Having eaten at quite a few Korean BBQ restaurants in Las Vegas, we noticed the portions here were a bit smaller. They also limit each round to three appetizers and four meat selections. Overall, the service was good, and we especially appreciated Eurie for being friendly and attentive. The only thing that concerned us was when another server changed our grill. Instead of lightly drizzling oil onto the grill, she forcefully squeezed the bottle, causing the oil to shoot out onto grill. It seemed like an unnecessary safety risk for both guests and employees. Our favorites were definitely the Tri-Tip Bulgogi and the Galbi. Both were flavorful and tender. The Chardol was good, but the slices were very thin and the portion felt a little small. The restaurant filled up quickly between 5:00 and 6:00 p.m., so it's clearly a popular spot. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and would come back for the Tri-Tip Bulgogi, Galbi, and the teamwork displayed by the staff.

As someone who occasionally likes to eat alone, I really appreciate that. I've visited several times over the years, including recently under the newer ownership. Unfortunately, some of my old favorites aren't quite the same. I used to love their deep-fried oysters, which are no longer on the menu and have been replaced with deep-fried mussels. The kimchi stew recipe also seems to have changed and wasn't as memorable as before. That said, they still serve my favorite gopchang (beef small intestine). When cooked properly, it gets wonderfully crispy and reminds me of Mexican tripas tacos--definitely worth ordering. I'd personally skip the bibimbap appetizer. The rice was hard, the ground beef was cold, and it felt like it relied too heavily on the gochujang sauce for flavor. Even with those changes, I'll continue supporting this business. Service was also attentive.

It's quaint, clean, and comfortable, with soft lighting, relaxing background music, and cozy booths that make it a perfect place to enjoy a meal and catch up with friends. We started with soup. I had the hot and sour soup, which is always my favorite, and our friends tried the flower soup, similar to egg drop soup, for the first time. They really enjoyed it! For appetizers, we shared the prawn, egg rolls, and crab Rangoon, and everything was delicious. For our main course, we enjoyed the Szechuan chicken, Hunan chicken, sesame chicken, and the vegetable plate. Every dish arrived hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The service was outstanding. Our server checked on us often, kept our water glasses full, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. We always have a wonderful experience at Chin Chin, and this visit was no exception. Great food, excellent service, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere keep us coming back. We highly recommend it!

So gross and so unsanitary!!! Come on!!! Then there's another worker (in a jean colored top). Now she wore gloves! BUT did not wear them appropriately. The Wok is one of those places, and Sichuan/Chongqing food is one of those things that I'm jealous of people who get to experience it for the first time. Here's how to have an epic time at The Wok: Step 1. Get 4 to 8 people total that aren't afraid to try something a little different and maybe slightly spicy (seriously though it's not actually that spicy). If you need help with this step message me, I'd share a meal with some random people if it's at The Wok. Step 2. Flip to the back page of the menu, and order a few things that sound good to the group. Don't waste your time with the American Chinese menu (even though what I've had off of that menu is actually really good too). Make sure to get a decent mix of stuff like appetizers, veggies, noodle, soup, and meat dishes. Also don't be afraid to order multiple times. This gives you more time with the menu, and you can judge what sounds good in the moment. Step 3. Share the food family style with everyone until you are all full. I think at this point I've eaten everything on the Sichuan menu, and can say that if it sounds good to you, it is! Some of my favorite dishes are: Wontons in Chili oil, Bone in chicken wings, Spicy boiled fish fillet, Beef noodle soup, Green beans, Salt and Pepper tofu, Dan dan noodles, and Mapo Tofu.
