Delicious rib eye steak and rice from our Ijji friends in South Reno. Friendly service. What i appreciate about Curtis and team is their willingness to volunteer their services and delicious food for good causes. Hence the reason I frequent their establishments. Hometown greatness and so good food!

We grabbed the fried rice with veggies and ribeye on top from Me Yummy and it definitely hit the spot. The ribeye was cooked well, tender and flavorful--but a bit on the fatty side. The rice wasn't anything mind-blowing, but it was tasty and satisfying. Overall, pretty solid for a quick meal. We enjoyed it and would try it again, especially if we're in the mood for something hearty and easy.

I got the steak bowl. It was flavorful, the steak was cooked perfectly. The yummy yummy sauce really elevated the flavors! I loved the rice too, not mushy at all.

Big red food truck

Parked on Virginia during the first annual Western Lights Festival was this big red food truck. Having never had the privilege I decided to try the beef yummy noodle. Gold star for anybody who can tell me how the sweet and savory noodles were prepared. Awesome for sure. Thin sliced beef, broccoli, carrots, noodles in a tasty sauce. Plus several sauces to go on the dish, from sweet to crazy hot. Take your pick. Yes Mr Yummy Yummy will be at food truck Fridays!! They also have a restaurant location, Ijji Noodle House on Damonte Ranch Parkway. Do not miss your chance to enjoy the tasty dishes.

I have had this truck a couple of times now and it has always been delicious! Their potstickers are literally so good for starters and they always have extra sauce out front up for grabs which I love. They also have really good shrimp and karage! I like the smokiness in their fried rice also. They are super quick which is a great quality in a food truck considering I am usually grabbing lunch on my way back to the office and this really helps. Overall, I think they are becoming one of my top Reno food trucks!

New kid on the block as far as food trucks go but certainly not new to the food game. If you've been to Ijji Noddle House or Hype Tea you probably have met or at least seen Kurtis he's a man with a passion for what he does. The newest venture is a hibachi style food truck that came out swinging on its first event. With how fast the service is you'd think they've just got vats of their ingredients readily prepared. But if you look closely enough you can see the grill working your order the moment your order goes through. It's all served hot and fresh off the grill. Personal suggestion is to make your own surf n' turf bowl by getting the rib-eye bowl(if it's not sold out) and adding shrimp. Service has been great, staff is all super nice. As they are a food truck it might be hard to catch them in the wild but they do have social media and post when they are out and about.

The hibachi ribeye truly lived up to the hype. A block party I attended this weekend had food trucks at it. I've been hearing about this particular dish, so I was excited it was on the menu. This new Japanese hibachi food truck just arrived last month. It brings a mini version of Ijji 2's Japanese Teppanyaki to the street. The grill is right there at the window so you can watch your meal being prepared. My 7 ounce ribeye was well seasoned and cooked perfectly tender. It was laid across a huge portion of delicious fried rice and a mixture of carrot, broccoli, zucchini, and onions. The four sauces were at the table in front of the truck, so you could choose and put on as much as you want. I went with the yum yum sauce. It's my go to for the rice and vegetables. It was great with the steak, but it didn't require any extra seasoning. The other sauces available were unagi, spicy mayo and pot sticker sauce. Other menu items included- 3 piece pot stickers ($5), bowl of fried rice ($6), teriyaki chicken bowl ($15), bulgogi beef ($17), hibachi tofu ($15), and karaage bowl ($16). My ribeye was just shy of $26. They accept cash and card. My meal was piping hot and ready in under 10 minutes.

I'll let the food speak for itself on this one. Follow their instagram to see where they are at. Whatever you order, get the yum yum sauce! I get always get extra

So my fiancee and I had to go and get it.. funny thing, we went but didnt end up buying that.. lol. We had never been there before and when we walked in we were surprised to see they have a little international store in the back of the restaurant. So much to look at it from snacks to spices to cold and frozen items.. they had so many different flavors of oreos and kit kats! they had fridges and freezers with drinks, coffees, ice cream , dessert items, ect.. It was all set up nicely and easy to access all the items. The restaurant looked nice and clean. We didn't eat there this time but will go back because everything sounded good. The staff was also very nice and wasnt bothered that we were there just for the store part. We ended up getting different flavored rice crackers and had to try different flavors of kit kats.. along with some cookies and tea.. Cant wait to go back for items and the restaurant.

Overall rating: 4.5/5…read more I have been to Haru multiple times, with friends, family, ordering take-out or dining in. I finally decided to opt out of my usual Miso ramen order and try the donburi. My absolute favorite appetizers are the karaage chicken and takoyaki, it is very hard to find quality of either in town and each order has never been less than great. The menu is detailed and include vegetarian and vegan options. I had the chicken curry katsudon, the chicken was breaded and fried well, and the curry contained potatoes, carrots, and onions, yet it felt really heavy on the carrots, and I couldn't finish them all. My partner had the Kuro ramen, which he gets every time, but this time level 3 spice didn't seem spicy. Whenever we order to-go, it is visibly clear when it is level 3. The service was fast and friendly for a Thursday night, the lychee martini and draft Sapporo that we always order still tasted as good as ever.

Christine, our waitress, was so attentive and genuinely kind. She anticipated what we needed before we even had to ask and made the entire experience feel personal and relaxed. Service like that makes a great meal even better. You can taste the love and intention in every dish. We've been multiple times and have yet to order something we didn't absolutely love. The presentation is beautiful, the flavors are bold and balanced, and it's clear the owners are committed to making sure every guest leaves happy. The porky ribs have potential but It was too lightly drizzled when it needed to be drowned in that sweet and tangy sauce. It was also cooked rather dry on the exterior but the interior was nicely juicy and tender. The bulgogi bowl was actually spicy pork instead of beef. It wasn't that bad, but it wasn't that great either. The tofu soup was solid. It hit all the right spots and was comfort food personified. Enjoyed it quite a bit. Overall, I am sure there are other items that might hit the spot and I would love to return and try a selection of entrees another time. Service was definitely top notch, Harry was the absolute best!

We sat at the bar, and it was really enjoyable chatting with the staff there. The atmosphere is a bit noisy, but that's because it's always busy. One thing to keep in mind the wait can be long. However, if you don't mind sitting at the bar and there's space available, take it! Instead of waiting 45 minutes, you might get seated right away. Without a doubt, this has become one of my favorite spots for sushi. Thank you!

The time it was just my husband and I was so slow. We also sat down as the second table. They had a full staff and it took the longest. The food is good. I rate the roles at a 3, but note. I like simple sushi. So I tried the rolls just to try and see what they taste like. Its good if you like likes of flavor. It removes what people say is the fishy taste. I love the taste of fish. So I typically lean towards nigiri. I will amdit their sashimi salad as a 5/5. I loved it. I thought we could order 1 per round, but thats not the case. Look at the menu and its once per visit. The salmon hand roll is a 1 for me. It was not very crispy and hard to power through. So I dont recommend that, but they do a roll of it. So if you share with friends it might be worth while. The Niger I rate a 3.5/5. There was a lot of rice, but they also give a good size slice of fish. What got me was it didn't have that crisp taste when I ate it. Its hard to explain. The food quality is good. Don't get me wrong. Just the service and my simple taste buds. Its very popular and many locals love it. The lady was very sweet, when we got to speak with her. So don't let my rating and my taste buds hinder you from eating here. So give them a try.

We had a late lunch so decided to just go for ala carte but wished we had done their all you can eat. We started with the calamari appetizer, cucumber salad and two orders of their potstickers. Their potstickers were the star of the show and I would go back here just to order these. Some of the best in town in my opinion! They were doughy and flavorful, still tender not too crispy and just the right size with a great potsticker slightly spicy sauce. We then ordered the Snow mountain roll, the caterpillar and rainbow. We loved the size of the rolls, not too much rice, flavorful, fresh and good. Before our order came out we were offered a sample of a new dumpling pork bun that was so good we wished we could order it; but the owner informed us it would be coming to a store next door soon - so stay tuned for a new O'A dumpling dim sum shop to open soon in the same shopping center. The service was attentive and charming and the restaurant seems very authentic - we can't wait to go back and try all you can eat and get their punch card.
