Food was great. The chicken wonton tacos were incredibly crisp, light, and flaky. They were devoured within minutes and easily the highlight of the visit. Simple, well executed, and very satisfying. Service was on point. Even when my ticket was accidentally misplaced, the staff immediately took responsibility and went straight into fixing the issue without any hesitation. That level of customer service really stood out. Ambiance was what you would expect from a food truck setup. Casual and straightforward, letting the food do the talking. I'm a sucker for elote so when I saw crispy wonton elote tacos - I knew I had to try them. They were so delicious. Crisped to perfection but not overly oily. We also tried the bulgogi potstickers and I am still dreaming of those potstickers. I wish I could buy them in bulk and have them at home - so delicious! Food trucks usually aren't as creative as I would like them to be. But Potluck is definitely one of my favorite trucks in Reno. I LOOOOOOOVE Elote and they do it so well that I ordered up myself an order of Elote Tots. No need for chicken, these tots were top 10!! We also ordered up the tacos which were a great fusion take and priced as expected. Food trucks don't really have ambience or discernible service differences because you order at a window and they give you the food and you go away. So really it's just about speed and food quality and Potluck get's great scores on both of those for me. I don't know how often they are at the location that I caught them, but it is a great spot. A big deck off Virginia Street and Martin with a number of establishments nearby to get a refreshing drink. read more

100/10 recommend this food truck. I tried it for the first time May 2021 after walking over to the Eddy where they were parked. My date and I got the cheeseburger wonton tacos and I. Was. Hooked. Subsequently, I've eaten at their truck for a couple food truck events. First: Tacos. Can never go wrong with having a taco. Additionally, the taco shells are made out of Wontons! Crunchy and delicious. Second: Cheeseburger filling. Who doesn't love cheeseburgers? The way they fill the tacos Third: Three versus two! I feel like most places you go and you order tacos they'll give you two. But here, you get an option of 3 or 6 tacos. They do have other options on their menu, but once I find something I like, I stick to it. The owner Griffin is super kind and definitely makes an effort to remember his customers. The Potluck truck's instagram reposts their customer's stories, which speaks to the care they have for their customers. Also, they have taken over the kitchen at The Stick in downtown Reno. Even though we have heard great things about this food truck, we did not have the best of LUCK with them (see what I did there?) We visited the Potluck Truck during Feed The Camel (arguably Reno's best Food Truck event but that's for another review.) The line was decent so the guys were a bit behind, which is totally forgivable during their main rush. Since a few items were out of stock, we went for the traditional pork potstickers and an order of churros for good measure. I know that the draw is that their potstickers are hand-made from real ingredients, but they definitely tasted like the frozen grocery store variety. Filling was not bad, just not special. The wrapper wasn't particularly crisp or flavorful and they were relatively small. I think my favorite part was the sweet chili sauce that was drizzled on top... because really, who doesn't love sweet chili sauce? The churros were definitely out of a bag with regular old Hersheys syrup. I can't ding them for that though because they were still tasty enough! Overall, I think I was disappointed that we didn't get an outstanding potsticker from a food truck with that namesake. I've had their food a few times at The Eddy. Everything I've tried has been pretty amazing. So let's talk about their food: Hot Cheeto Fries: If you love hot Cheetos, you'll love these fries. It appeared that she failed to write everything I ordered, down on the ticket. This was their last order of the night, so they had stopped making food after us. He apologized and gave us some of our money back. It was disappointing because that was our dinner and now we had to figure out what else to eat since we didn't have enough food to fill us up. Late night cravings! Every time I see this food truck, I have to order the chicken elote tacos. I love that they use fried wonton wrappers for the shells and the crisp on the potstickers are perfection! $8.99 for 3 tacos and $7 for 3 potstickers. What a great addition to Reno's food truck scene! My wife and I have had them a couple of times now and that are fantastic! The first was at the balloon races and their breakfast really hit the spot. As someone who loves food trucks I get super excited when I see one that isn't just tacos or burgers(although I have nothing but love for those too!). This one is what dreams are made of. The chicken tacos are amazing. Not a fan of the potstickers as they were more like wontons, tasted overcooked and lacked flavor. The Thai fries were not memorable. We also couldn't mix and match very easily and the staff seemed a little confused. Would definetly go back to order tacos and see if they work out some kinks. P.S. Ordered the chicken wontons meal and the carnitas pot sticker meal. The wontons were flaky and crunchy. The chicken had great seasoning. Very good "finger food" as I called them while I sipped on some beer at Local Brew Company. The pot stickers were very very good. I preferred them over the wontons. I am giving the food truck a 5 star review because of the very cute staff and also the fries. The fries were very crispy and light, soft on the inside, and very tasty. I ate all of them. I ordered 6 potstickers for $15 and I was expecting something fresh and hand made. Instead I received cheap store bought potstickers with unimaginative ingredients and bland taste. I really wish I would have ordered something else, as the other reviews seem to rave about everything else except the potstickers. Been dying to try out potluck from all their mouthwatering Instagram posts and we finally got the opportunity to come visit them at 10torr. The service was quick and I loved that they allowed you to get a potsticker or taco combo with their topped fries as I wanted to try it all! For $10 I got 3 Buffalo chicken potstickers which were spot on with the flavor, tons of chicken, and just the right amount of cream cheese and Buffalo sauce and the hot Cheetos fries. The fries had great flavor but I wished that there was more cheese to help the toppings stick better and that the Cheetos were crushed up a little finer. My friend got the sweet chili fries which were simple and delicious and the chicken elote wonton tacos which were super flavorful, but we wished had a little more spice. Overall the concept is a wee some and I can't wait to see what other combos they come up with. With a few adjustments the food could go from really good to ABSOLUTELY AMAZING.
