Come hungry, I mean be ready to share your burrito or be full for a while.... It's a good thing! Burrito Toluqueno: 5/5 -Filling... between the burrito being big enough for 2 to share and add some spuds (potatoes w/peppers). You have a meal for 2! At first I asked myself... why is this meal $14!? Well... it's enough to feed me, the wife, and the kid. So.... Be ready. Flavor wise, worth the price you pay and I'd even dare to say I'd pay more for it. You get an authentic chorizo and egg burrito that's unlike many of your typical Mexican breakfast burritos, and you get a delicious chipotle sauce and jalapeños with your burrito if you choose. As a fan of spicy foods, it definitely gave me the kick I wanted. Overall, If you're looking for authenticity, this is a breakfast burrito option you don't want to miss. Update on 9/12 - got the Godzilla w/ jalapeño this time. It's huge and delicious!! A couple asada tacos on the side to share. We'll continue to stop here. Wow!! Stopped here based on Yelp review. If you're in the area - go!! Didn't really research but sounds as if all sandwhiches have the base with pickled veg, avacado and peppers. I had the Cubano with chipolte. Great flavor profile, ham really nice, bacon great - fantastic!! Wife got the Hawaiian with jalapeño. Didn't think I would like it but it was amazing. Torta Ebenezer is by far the number one spot in TOWN to get a fantastic, delicious, authentic tasting Torta. I love this place and they have two locations in town. One in Reno and one in sparks. Just a spectacular family owned local business serving nothing but 10/10 food and beverages. The service is very friendly and they try to get you in and out as soon as possible. For a drive up type of atmosphere, Torta Ebenezer is a gem in the Reno/Sparks. New sensation Monday #supportlocal Decided to try out @tortasebenezer on Prater Way and it was a score! The Cubano was a huge Torta that got me lifting my leg in a happy dance. Add jalapenos and this thing delivers about 8 flavors of meats, egg, cheese, avocado. Had all the foodgroups except for chicken! Also tried the tacos, Al Pastor was good. The asada is ground beef instead of chipped steak, but also had a good flavor profile. Washed it down with a nice horchata and went back to the jungle of work. Some of the best authentic tortas in town!! If you're looking for your classic asada, salchicha, chorizo, etc this is the spot! Each torta has bean spread, queso fresco, avocado, chipotle or jalapeño, and comes on a buttered bread. They also have very delicious and fresh aguas (fruit drinks) in a verity of flavors. My favorites being watermelon and cantaloupe. The restaurant itself it's mainly drive thru service but does have a small outdoor seating area but no indoor dining. I appreciate this for on the go take out. The only downside is they will sometimes run out of torta bread without letting you know beforehand. Fresh, soft baked bollilo roll, Topped with your choice of meat, slathered in mayo and avocado,and served with fresh veggies and pickled jalapeños. Truly the perfect bite. I got the carnitas, which was absolutely amazing, with the contrast of rich fatty pork and soft bread and fresh veggies. I almost considered driving back and getting another one because it was THAT GOOD. The girl working the drive they said her favorite is the Hawaiian though, I just wasn't in the mood for pineapple. I also got a papaya milkshake and it was so fresh and creamy, it really complimented the sandwich nicely. They also recommend if you're in a rush to call your order in ahead of time since they make everything to order. But even without doing that, I was in an out of the drive they within 10 minutes or so. This is definitely a must try, and if this is your first torta, this is an excellent place to start! read more

We live in Sparks near some of the best Mexican food around, lucky us! This cute corner drive thru location has seen a few shops come & go, but Tortas Ebenezer caught my eye recently. I am TORTA-lly in love with these sammies! I know the old rule of thumb says never eat anything bigger than your head...but I say come hungry and go for it! I ordered a Milaneza, which has thin breaded strips of milanesa steak, and a Alambre, which is turbo charged Mexican cheesesteak-ish. Both were amazingly good, and surprisingly neat enough to eat in the car in spite of their piled-high construction. The bread, a pillowy soft bolillo roll, is the foundation of these sammies. Layers of goodness, smashed beans, queso fresco, lettuce & tomatoes, avocados, jalapenos...all the things that are good! The high school nearby means tons of teens during lunch hour, so plan accordingly. Theres a little patio for dining in, but as ice only used the drive-thru, my only complaints are that the menu itself offers no explanation of what ingredients are in the sammies, and that 1 of the jammies I ordered seemed a rogue mix of ingredients...a random slice of ham, and no lettuce, for example. Still good, just a little confusing. Great drive thru eats, or a shaded place to sit on a warm day with a Mexican Coca-cola. So the pics i saw on yelp looked amazing and thought id try it out. I got a steak and egg burrito had beans and sour cream. I said no to jalepeno and chipotle. But it was just bland. The home fries were ok but seems to be covered in season salt which im not a fan. It took about 7 min to get order completed. The strawberry water was a bit tart which is ok i went home and added sugar. I will go back again and try something else. Matbe it was an off day. read more

Great, authentic food! We always come here for the tortas and I most recently tried an order of the asada quesadilla which is also filling and delicious. Seriously, the food here is awesome and we're so lucky to have this close to home! Unfortunately though, you won't have any luck with good customer service. Gone here plenty of times and never been said hi to, when I asked questions they would just stare at me and explain with such dull expressions on their face and spoke like I was a huge bother, and seriously no one ever says anything! They just hand stuff to you and don't even make eye contact. It's so weird to me. So come here if you want bomb tortas, but don't think you'll be having a pleasant conversation with any of the employees. read more

I can only base this review on the one sandwich I've tried here, the King Kong, but rest assured but was delicious. Obviously as evidenced by the name, it's a giant sandwich, easily shared by 2 (depending on how hungry you are). The fresh juice also blew me away; I was expecting something like sugar-sweetened aguas frescas, but was pleasantly surprised when I got a huge serving of REAL honeydew juice! Oh my God, I was not expecting such perfection at such an assuming, worn down drive-thru stand with rock bottom prices. Mostly a drive-thru but we stopped in the eerily lit patio area to order from the window. It felt like the wild wild west (though honestly, the area isn't bad.) Although it was night time we wanted a burrito, so we got the Steak & Eggs for $7, and since the name has Tortas we also wanted a Torta, so we got the King Kong for (at $10, the most expensive thing on their menu.) We expected them to be filling and satisfying (which they were) but both were also phenomenal. The burrito was stuffed with steak, eggs, cheese, and not much else (meaning no fillers), but it also came with a very generous side of homestyle potatoes! And that King Kong torta - OMG. It literally had everything in it. Perfectly breaded steak, perfectly grilled juicy chicken, ham, all the other toppings, in a slightly crisp and chewy torta, and they gave us a plastic bag of peppers on the side. Not the quality I am used to I guess. It was like a sloppy Joe. Meat was bland. Not anything to be excited about. I got carne asada and it was more like ground beef. The tomato was so thin it might as well have been non existent as well as the avocado. My Husband ordered a Al pastor burrito and he ended up with a similar sloppy Joe. Let me start out saying this place seems very authentic. It's a small menu with palabras en español (Spanish words) that I had to ask what they meant. Usually when it comes to food it's mostly the same thing. Not here though and that makes it even better. The tortas are excellent and the breakfast burrito was good even at dinner time. I did not like the mango shake though. It was more like a smoothie, but luckily my daughter enjoyed it. I would go back here. One especially different thing is that they either offer jalapenos or Chipotle peppers for your torta. The chipotle was so tasty. read more

For seven dollars I got a burrito that was at least 3 lbs, this sucker is as big as my forearm. I kept driving by this place and always craved the Tortas and I've heard good things about it...I must have gone at the wrong time but the Cuban torta I had was flavorless, the meat was dry, also ordered a Asada quesadilla and my kids wouldn't eat it way too greasy again the meat was dry.. well spent 19.00 total that's with an horchata..might give em another try but very doubtful read more

I love getting tortas from here. They have a variety to choose from. Not like your typical choices at other Mexican food trucks or restaurants that offer your typical tortas of carne asada, chicken etc.the tortas here are big and filling. They have a lot of stuff in them like, avocado, hot dog sausage egg, breaded steak etc. My favorite so far is the Hawaiian. I have not tried all the choices they offer, but this one is my fave. Their hours vary I think. Definitely not a late night snack type of place because they close early in my opinion. I think they close 5/6 pm daily. You should definitely try the food there though it's bomb. read more
