I found Taco T on Yelp and decided to stop by for lunch. I'm glad I did! I ordered the carne asada nachos and they were absolutely loaded with flavor--some of the best nachos I've had in a long time. I also tried the Frisco burger, and it did not disappoint. The burger was juicy, the fries were crispy and seasoned perfectly, and everything came out fresh and hot. The service was friendly and fast, which made the experience even better. I'll definitely be coming back to try more of the menu. Highly recommend! read more

Great taco truck in the Lemmon valley area! We ordered the tacos and churros and carne asada burrito. The tacos were flavorful and full of meat! The burrito was a pretty hefty size as well. The churros were good but nothing about them stood out too much. I would recommend the street tacos for sure though if ever in the area and craving a quick bite. Friendly service and the wait time wasn't too bad as well. read more

I have lived in the North Valleys since 2015 and have seen this Taco Truck as I drive to and from my house. I didn't get a chance to try it until this year. I HAVE BEEN MISSING OUT. Quality customer service, timely making of food, and a fun little buzzer that buzzes when your order is ready. These are certainly the best Tacos from a taco truck I've had. I have been eating at taco T's for a while now they have really good food. However the last time I went there I ordered my food and was told 21$ I paid no problem. That night I checked my bank and they charged me 38$. When I talked to them the next time they were out at work they told me they would correct it. It's been three weeks now and still no correction so if you go here just watch your account watch how much they charge you I will not be back to them. read more

I live in NW Reno and we don't have many food trucks out here so I was happy to see Taco T posted up in the Arco parking lot. I noticed they offer a flour tortilla taco and ordered a few of the al pastor and chilled in the parking lot for a few minutes until the very pleasant and polite operator came out with my food. I was surprised at how hefty they were, 3 of them were almost a meal by themselves. Aside from the typical meat selections and street tacos they have stuff like nacho fries and a special board. I hope Taco T makes this their regular spot because good street tacos is just what we need out here in old NW! read more

Im very much a fan of North Valleys taco trucks, and this one is absolutely one to keep on your radar. Went on a mission looking for tacos this evening, this was one of the only taco trucks we could find tonight and had never tried it before. Definitely not disappointed. Extremely friendly staff and amazing service. Ordered 4 quesabirria tacos, 6 carne asada & 6 carnitas street tacos for ~$50 w/ tip. The value for the price is unparalleled. These tacos are STUFFED with meat, plus a healthy amount of garnishes. Salsas were almost the best part, but the tacos were too good themselves. 12/10 recommend. read more

Conveniently located in Lemmon Valley, for those of us who want amazing mexican food without having to go sit down at TJ's, Taco T's truck is THE BEST! Food Trucks are just the best in general, but this one is special. I love that they have a spot where you can always find them so I know when I can skip cooking dinner. I recommend calling before you head over. They're super quick so by the time I get there the food is usually ready. Their chips and guac are a wonderful side. They sprinkle the chips with seasonings and cheese. The guac is chunky with pico mixed in. The street tacos are $2.50 each and HUGE, so you only need 2 or 3 tops. The burrito is two meals in one. The meat is all well seasoned and cooked perfectly. I have never had a gristle piece in the asada. The chicken is moist. The lengua is amazing. You really can't go wrong. Amazing food! We got asada crispy tacos, they were really good with lettuce, pico and sour cream with cheese too. The fiesta plate was super yummy. We got churros as well 10 out of 10. The most amazing taco truck ever!! EVERYTHING IS SOO TASTY AND FULL OF MOUTH WATERING FLAVORS. the salsas are on the hotter side but still full of flavors. All I can say is WOW! I was skeptical ordering a shrimp burrito. They could skimp on the shrimp, they might be unclean (with vein), they might be tiny, but NO! This was superb. I ordered it without rice because I don't need the extra cals. I ordered beforehand with a text, it was so easy. They do Apple pay which is also cool. When I picked up my order at the food truck window parked in the lot at work it was SO heavy. I thought, "ummmm, for a shrimp burrito and no rice this thing must be big". I opened it at my desk when I was hungry and to my surprise there were grilled onions, pickled radish, cucumber slices, and strips of jalapenos, plus two amazing salsas. One bright red (not too hot) and one verde. There had to have been at least 13 shrimp packed inside. They were perfectly cooked and the perfect size. And the flavor inside this burrito was dripping with deliciousness. I'm in awe, best burrito I've had in Reno. read more

I was greeted by the site of a new taco truck. Of course the first thing I did was check if there was a Yelp listing. Apparently being the first, I uncinched a belt notch and prepared to sample a variety. The girl at the window greeted me with a smile. Their menu was comparable to other trucks. The prices for the bigger entrees was also in keeping with the competition. The tacos were priced at $2 which I feel is just a little high for small street tacos. However I was surprised which I will detail below. I originally tried to order a burrito with chorizo. It was on the menu but apparently they didn't have it. This didn't bode well. I changed to an asada burrito and two chicken tacos. I also got a side of rice and beans. I was not a fan of the burrito. It had cheese inside which is fine but it was completely melted in clumps throughout. Rather than steak pieces, it appeared like it was just larger chunks of ground beef. I tried the red sauce to give it some kick and mask it a little but the red sauce was weak sauce. They also provided a verde sauce. Given my experience with the red I took a taste test first. It was absolutely unimpressive. So why three stars? I popped the top on my taco container and was pleasantly surprised. Normally the $1.50 street tacos I run across seem to have a minimal amount of meat and toppings so I wasn't expecting much for $2. However these ones made full use of the tortilla. Even better the chicken was great. I moved on to the rice and beans, and they were well done too. The good...The prices are reasonable. The prep was fast. The chicken tacos were awesome. The bad...Unimpressed by the burrito so much so I won't order it again. Maybe with chorizo if they actually carry it. Their asada needs some work too. This is a fledgling truck so I'm hoping they are still working on their dishes. With a few tweaks I think they could be on to something. If they show up again I will probably try something different and load up on some tacos as well. To be continued? read more

Carne street and hard tacos were delicious. I prefer the red salsa since it has a little kick. The onions and serranos that accompanied the tacos are excellent. We also split a pollo nacho fries between 3 people. I plan to test the rest of the menu soon! read more

Saw on Facebook.. yes I always followed there as I was a consistent customer that they are open in Lemmon until 10pm. Not positive of the time that I got there but when I left it was 9:22pm. As soon as I showed up the three people (not the owner) scrambled and shut the lights off. And said "were closed". Not a "sorry about the misunderstanding. Our Facebook posts are incorrect" just rudely "we're closed". Seemed I was just ruining their little gathering. Maybe they shouldn't be "partying" and instead conduct the business in a professional manner. Makes me upset as I am here often. Granted, it's never really after 9. But they posted at 9 that they were open until 10! Seems a lot of people in the valley are having the same consensus as I posted it in our community page with over 13,000 people and there are over 200 replies. Guess I need to find a new place for tacos and tortas. read more
