They do such a wonderful job cleaning it, that it's so clean tasting that the natural flavors come through! The portion size for the menudo is great! Lots of tripe! I arrived hungry and looking back, I probably should have just ordered a couple of tacos, but my stomach did all the talking for me. I enjoy a nice quesabirria now and again, so I asked if it was very messy and was told, "No, not too messy." Well, maybe it's not too messy for a toddler, but there was no way I could eat it with just my hands--each slice was swimming in beef drippings and kept slipping out of my hand until I finally caved and asked for a fork. The flavor was good, the beef quality was ok, service was friendly and VERY fast compared to the other trucks, and the salsa was spot-on. Definitely recommend checking them out if you're at the farm, but maybe just stick to the not-so-messy other options.

Reminded me of the Mexican restaurants in Southern California. Prices are about average, and actually pretty good when you consider the sizable portions. The service person behind the register was friendly and efficient, and our to go order was prepared pretty quickly. We came at 4:15, so it wasn't that busy yet. Lots of yummy-sounding options on the menu. I got a shrimp ceviche tostada--fresh, and the macerated texture held a lot of lime juice--and the chicken mole. The beans and rice that came with the mole were solid--the beans especially--though everything was just a tiny bit too salty. I also found the salsa for the tortilla chips to be a bit too garlicky. Just slightly, though--it was all still very good. The mole sauce was a rich dark color and was also very fresh-tasting, but maybe not quite as deep of a flavor as I was hoping. The on-the-bone chicken it covered was VERY tender. I'd recommend this place for rich authentic Mexican food and will definitely be back to try the tacos.
