I have been wanting to try this place for a while. Finally got to try Nola sliders at Feed the Camel food truck event at the McKinley art Center and OMG! Everything I tried was absolutely delicious. The beignets were warm and fresh with a mountain of powdered sugar on top and the sliders were fantastic. I also tried their crawfish sliders. A mix of vegetables, crawfish, and Cajun spices. One of the best bites I've ever had at a food truck event. The service was fast and friendly. If you see this truck, I definitely recommend giving them a try.
Anytime we see the Nola truck, we grab an OG smash! Super tasty and when you're not trying to have a whole meal, a single OG smash is perfect! We want to try each variation and plan on having many more burgers in our future. Grab them when you see them because once they are out, they are out for the day! They are worth any wait and the team is super friendly. Found them at the Eddy this time, great spot to hang out, have a drink and a smash!
PERFECT smash burgers, crispy edges and melty cheese! Could eat these every day, love NOLA sliders! Oh and the fries are pretty good, too!

I've been lucky enough to enjoy NOLA Sliders twice now, and I'm officially obsessed. The seasoning and crispness on their patties are perfection. Yesterday, after a long hike, I knew they'd be at House by the River that evening--and I looked forward to that burger all day. I've tried a few of their creations: the crawfish special (not really my thing since I'm not a shellfish fan, but my boyfriend LOVED it), the original, and now my personal favorite--the Cowboy. That sauce, the jalapeños, and that juicy burger patty? Absolute magic. It doesn't come with pickles, and when I asked, the guy said, "You don't want pickles on this," but he still gave me some on the side. Turns out, he was right--the Cowboy is perfect just the way it is. If you see them out and about, do yourself a favor and grab one. Or two.
If you are looking for a no frills smash burger, this is your spot! The menu is small because they know what they do, and they do it well. Crispy, salty edges on each patty and melty cheese makes every bite worth the calories. The only thing on my wish list is that their schedule was a bit more transparent and consistent for those last minute cravings. I may be missing it, but I don't see it consistently posted to their instagram. But I could be missing where it's at altogether.
Friggin solid little tasty burger for $10. Been wanting to try this place and glad I finally did, and what a better location then posted up at the Eddy downtown. Crispy smashburger, EPIC soft bun, yummy sauce. Super friendly service and the burger was done in less the 5 minutes. Can't wait to grab these tasty little morsels again when I see the truck. Only bummer is I'm too full to go back and try the Loco Moco special as well, I bet it's equally dank.
I finally tried NOLA Sliders and they did not disappoint. The patty had great flavor complimented by a thick slice of cheddar and a cute roll. Small serving (hence slider). Kids single was $5 and the OG was $10. Service was quick and the guy was really friendly. Definitely will be a repeat customer.
Very good smash burger uses Nevada Brining pickles and great cheese and bun. Only had them from the truck so ambiance is where it's located. Service was fast and friendly. Highly recommended.
Forgive my poor photo, but you see, I attacked my beignets immediately and didn't remember to try and take a photo until there was one left. I was one of the last few in line to secure my beignets. The lady taking my order was kind enough to check and make sure they still had them available before getting my hopes up. I also ordered the smashburger sliders and they were amazing as well!
Nola Sliders at food truck Friday was quite nice. Definitely a New Orleans vide on the menu. The crawfish sliders suits my fancy and they are fancy. Sweet buns with small shrimp in a gooey cheese sauce. Very rich and delicious. Be sure to check them out at FTF.
Finally tried NOLA. I love simple menus as it doesn't require much thinking and it should mean they do what they do best. Two sliders for $13 seems a bit pricey even in today's market. They were simple and tasty but definitely not oozing sauce as I've seen in their pictures. It was very good but small (yes I know they are sliders) so throwing in a bag of chips for the price is more reasonable.

NOLA Sliders has some of the best smash burgers around! The burgers are always flavorful, fresh, and cooked perfectly with those crispy smash-burger edges. The quality and taste definitely keep me coming back. The prices have gone up, so they're a little pricey for the size. However, the food is still really good and worth trying if you're craving an amazing smash burger. Definitely recommend checking them out! read more

Tried their Holy Trinity meal at the Food Truck Wednesday event. I was curious about their beignets and crawfish sliders. The sliders were a bit messy but yummy. It tasted like a shrimp gumbo mix in sweet rolls. The beignets were pretty good, soft and fluffy with a bit of a crisp outside. My daughter enjoyed their smashburger sliders. It was a perfect-sized meal for a family of three :) read more
Updating this review because I clearly caught them on the wrong day the first time. My original visit was during Food Truck Friday, which I've since learned is not really the environment to judge them. Volume is the priority and things move fast. Seeing the burgers again (and hearing consistent feedback from people who go regularly), it's obvious these smash burgers are the real deal. Crispy edges, melty cheese, exactly what you want from that style of burger. The fries are also very solid -- which I usually don't even bother ordering with burgers but these are worth it. Sometimes first impressions aren't the whole story. Happy to correct the record here. NOLA is doing something right. Smash burgers with crispy edges are one of my biggest food weaknesses, and these absolutely deliver. read more

Finally got to roll down to Feed The Camel Food Truck Wednesday event! Unfortunately I didn't see a camel, however we did locate Nola Sliders Swat Truck. Rolled up and ordered a bag of beignets and two SMASH SLIDERS! Next time I'll order two bags of beignets cuz my family straight robbed me of my order. Food was tasty and quick but to end this review properly I think we need to revisit the classic 1990s blockbuster film Terminator 2, as the Nola Sliders food truck is identical to the swat truck in that film...in the words of The Terminator, "I'll be back." read more

Honestly great to see new faces popping up in the food truck industry here. The owner is super nice and has a great sense of passion in his craft. I came by when they first showed up. It's been nice to see them gain traction. They are the first real deal smash burger spot in the form of sliders here in Northern NV. The owner migrated from New Orleans to take a chance on the Biggest Little City I feel like this is a spot to watch. The owner is still new to Reno but not new to the food scene. Hailing from his roots, he's looking to slowly bring some New Orleans favorites to the Reno scene. Follow NOLA on insta to keep up with them. They're often at Black Rabbit Meads but due to them gaining popularity they're getting booked at a lot of great events around the area. read more
There sliders are soooooooooo good They're a decent size Staff are pretty nice I was so hungry so I forgot to take a picture of my sliders But they were pretty good I tried the cowboy sliders once before but they didn't have those on the menu yesterday But the sliders weee still good none the less You don't get many toppings on it tho it's just bun patty cheese and a sauce read more

Killer burgers! Really simple but really tasty, Doughy house made bun with a pickle in the middle, tasty beef with cheese on top...... melts in your mouth! 185 East Glendale in Sparks on Wednesday11-2 , Fridays at Rise dispensary in Spanish Springs 11-3, Fridays at Shanty Dolans in Reno 6-8 Saturdays at Rise Dispensary 11-3 is the normal schedule, weather permitting!! Also can be found at Food Truck Fridays so keep an eye out if you go! Nice guy, good food, I'll definitely be back to try the western double!! Tried the western double on my second visit and that will definitely be my go to burger, double patty double cheese, served with crispy breaded onions and jalapeños and yummy sauce , try one and thank me later!!! read more

Always with exceptional customer service and killer sliders. If you haven't had the chance to chase this truck around town (no shame I did) and have their Instagram locked and ready to go, I highly recommend it. The cowboy sliders double are my go-to cheat day meals but his regular sliders are also amazing with nearly all house made ingredients. read more
I don't know how I lived my life this long without ever experiencing Nola Sliders but here we are. I've had the pleasure of trying this food truck twice now and the second time was somehow even better. I got the cowboy double and I can't even explain the explosion of flavor that happened upon my first bite. The cheese, seared patty, jalapeños, sauce and crispy onions was literal perfection. I LOVE NOLA Sliders!! These always seem to just hit the spot for me. I love the juiciness of the burger and the bun compliments it so well!! I like to drop by on Wednesdays when the truck is closer to work for me. I've done a couple of trips to the truck to grab burgers for my colleagues and I! No one is ever disappointed! I find their prices really reasonable and the owner is always really nice! read more
