I have been wanting to try this place for a while. Finally got to try Nola sliders at Feed the Camel food truck event at the McKinley art Center and OMG! Everything I tried was absolutely delicious. The beignets were warm and fresh with a mountain of powdered sugar on top and the sliders were fantastic. I also tried their crawfish sliders. A mix of vegetables, crawfish, and Cajun spices. One of the best bites I've ever had at a food truck event. The service was fast and friendly. If you see this truck, I definitely recommend giving them a try.

Anytime we see the Nola truck, we grab an OG smash! Super tasty and when you're not trying to have a whole meal, a single OG smash is perfect! We want to try each variation and plan on having many more burgers in our future. Grab them when you see them because once they are out, they are out for the day! They are worth any wait and the team is super friendly. Found them at the Eddy this time, great spot to hang out, have a drink and a smash!

PERFECT smash burgers, crispy edges and melty cheese! Could eat these every day, love NOLA sliders! Oh and the fries are pretty good, too!

Nola is a favorite! Jeremiah if a super friendly dude, who is passionate about great food. Hit them up on a sunny Sunday at the Eddie and Vibe out. Hope this is my every Sunday Vibe! Thank you for your great service, food, and generosity.

I've been lucky enough to enjoy NOLA Sliders twice now, and I'm officially obsessed. The seasoning and crispness on their patties are perfection. Yesterday, after a long hike, I knew they'd be at House by the River that evening--and I looked forward to that burger all day. I've tried a few of their creations: the crawfish special (not really my thing since I'm not a shellfish fan, but my boyfriend LOVED it), the original, and now my personal favorite--the Cowboy. That sauce, the jalapeños, and that juicy burger patty? Absolute magic. It doesn't come with pickles, and when I asked, the guy said, "You don't want pickles on this," but he still gave me some on the side. Turns out, he was right--the Cowboy is perfect just the way it is. If you see them out and about, do yourself a favor and grab one. Or two.

If you are looking for a no frills smash burger, this is your spot! The menu is small because they know what they do, and they do it well. Crispy, salty edges on each patty and melty cheese makes every bite worth the calories. The only thing on my wish list is that their schedule was a bit more transparent and consistent for those last minute cravings. I may be missing it, but I don't see it consistently posted to their instagram. But I could be missing where it's at altogether.

Friggin solid little tasty burger for $10. Been wanting to try this place and glad I finally did, and what a better location then posted up at the Eddy downtown. Crispy smashburger, EPIC soft bun, yummy sauce. Super friendly service and the burger was done in less the 5 minutes. Can't wait to grab these tasty little morsels again when I see the truck. Only bummer is I'm too full to go back and try the Loco Moco special as well, I bet it's equally dank.

I finally tried NOLA Sliders and they did not disappoint. The patty had great flavor complimented by a thick slice of cheddar and a cute roll. Small serving (hence slider). Kids single was $5 and the OG was $10. Service was quick and the guy was really friendly. Definitely will be a repeat customer.

Foods so yummy My kids asked after there first bite if we could order more from Nola sliders So yummy

Very good smash burger uses Nevada Brining pickles and great cheese and bun. Only had them from the truck so ambiance is where it's located. Service was fast and friendly. Highly recommended.

Forgive my poor photo, but you see, I attacked my beignets immediately and didn't remember to try and take a photo until there was one left. I was one of the last few in line to secure my beignets. The lady taking my order was kind enough to check and make sure they still had them available before getting my hopes up. I also ordered the smashburger sliders and they were amazing as well!

Nola Sliders at food truck Friday was quite nice. Definitely a New Orleans vide on the menu. The crawfish sliders suits my fancy and they are fancy. Sweet buns with small shrimp in a gooey cheese sauce. Very rich and delicious. Be sure to check them out at FTF.

Finally tried NOLA. I love simple menus as it doesn't require much thinking and it should mean they do what they do best. Two sliders for $13 seems a bit pricey even in today's market. They were simple and tasty but definitely not oozing sauce as I've seen in their pictures. It was very good but small (yes I know they are sliders) so throwing in a bag of chips for the price is more reasonable.

Best smash burger I've had yet. Good food takes time, especially if there's only one person. Make sure you tip the burger man.

The burger is pretty tasty but for $10 I would expect more. The bun is comically tiny.

Unfortunately, the clam chowder was terribly watered down and had a noticeable "fishy" smell the moment I opened the lid. And before anyone says seafood is supposed to smell pungently fishy: no, it's not. If it smells bad, it's usually because it's not fresh. For a small bowl of clearly watered-down clam chowder that didn't seem fresh - and somehow cost around $20, more than some of the best clam chowders at well-known coastal seafood establishments - I'm annoyed enough to write a Yelp review, which I rarely do unless I'm especially impressed or especially offended. I'm offended.

On this trip, they offered the Crawfish Etouffee as a special, coming highly recommended from all the staff, so I had to try it. The soup had a very thick, creamy texture, rich with flavor. The bits of crawfish were complemented with some grilled shrimp. All served with a dollop of rice. Delicious. My wife had the Fried Chicken Platter. The skin was crisp and full of flavor. I don't know what seasonings they put on the chicken but it was absolutely delicious. Now a risk with any fried chicken is over-cooking the chicken at the cost of getting the skin crispy. This was the case with our dish. While the outside was absolutely amazing, the chicken itself was a bit over cooked. What a shame. We ordered the Chicken Platter with a side of Red Beans and Rice. This was straight from the Bayou. Simple, delicious and perfect. Just wish I had a bigger serving. We also sampled the corn bread. While this too was quite good, the texture was bit to cake like to my liking. Not in a bad way, just different to what I would have preferred. If you are looking for authentic Southern Comfort Food, M&M's is the place for you. Even though our Chicken was a bit over cooked, we are excited to try other dishes on the menu.

Treated myself to a slow morning and took a short, pleasurable ramble over to Pine State from the Renaissance. It was early, just after opening time, and there was only one other person dining in - so grabbing a table was super easy. Pine State hails from Oregon originally, and the space feels like Portland or NorCal transported to Nevada. Cool, hip and funky. I was excited to have a chance to try the Veggie Reggie, being a vegetarian, biscuits and gravy a usually off limits for me. This one features a vegan breakfast patty, soy bacon, and Tillamook cheddar topped with shiitake mushroom gravy - so it was on! The Reggie came out quickly and looked amazing! Huge and oh-so decadent. I got there right at opening and I think the staff were still getting into the swing of the day, because my gravy was pretty cold, which was a disappointment - and probably muted the flavor a bit. I also appreciated the early am fine cup of coffee.
