Churros Huesos - Churros w/ mango, strawberry and banana and vanilla ice cream. - Desserts Near Me - Sun Valley, Nevada

We were in Sun valley over the weekend for tacos. My daughter wanted something sweet afterwards. We scouted her options down Sun valley Boulevard and there were Antojitos options and we circled back to this churros truck Jalisco style. They serve a decadent menu, but surprisingly my daughter only wanted a small churro tray so she could share with her little brother. I stole a bite of one. I looked up this style of churro and it's accurately advertised, but personally wasn't my favorite. That pretty much was the consensus with my family. They were very busy and the service was friendly. I'd be open to trying one of their more popular items on their menu or simply asking they cook mine a little longer. I just felt it tasted undercooked. read more

He confirmed coming to park at our venue for a birthday celebration but never showed up! I'm not sure what happened because I sent him all the information and details as he asked for a couple weeks in advance of the party. He seemed to be happy about coming to a party and we had upwards of 100 people so he knew it would be a good crowd. We also discussed it being totally fine if he advertised to his social media and followers so anyone could come buy churros. read more

I was at City Fest on the weekend and went to this food truck, it had the longest line so I thought they must be good. In fact they were great, super generous portions, fresh and delicious. The churro had the perfect crisp on it and soft, not gooey in the middle. The staff was super friendly and very helpful in helping me decide what I wanted. I will definitely wait in a long line again in the future to enjoy treats from this food truck. read more

Some of the best churros in town and worth the price! We happened to stumble upon their food truck while getting gas at Costco and so glad we did. They've got a variety of churros, we went with the classic bag of churros. The staff was friendly and they made the order pretty quickly. The churros were fried to perfection with an amazing crisp on outside and warm doughyness on the inside. It was seasoned deliciously (not too sweet yet still very flavorful) and we finished the bag in a matter of minutes! Can't wait to try their other churros, definitely check out this place. read more

Deliciousness! Service is always fast and nice staff. Was bummed when costco stopped selling their churros, but honestly, these are better! I've also had these at parties and were a hit with everyone. read more

We've had this food truck multiple times. The churros are to die for!! They are always so crispy and I love the toppings they provide. Would highly recommend them for your churro needs. read more

If ever I'm craving some churros, I know I can always count on this place. I love how their menu has some classic churros to churros with all sorts of toppings! I can usually find them at a local event/food truck event or their normal spot in Sun Valley. During the winter -- they serve champurrado. Think of a thicker and richer version of hot chocolate. Everyone makes their version a little different and I like how this place isn't too sweet. The service is always friendly and sometimes it can take a minute for the food to be ready-- but it's because they make everything fresh on the spot! Try them out next time you are craving some sweets! read more

This food truck is so delicious. Has the churros and ice cream. The churros are so crispy in the outside but so soft on the inside. The sauces they use are very delicious and the ice cream was great too. The weight was a little longer, but it is worth the weight. read more

Discovered this churros truck at Food Truck Friday and couldn't be happier that they choose to set up shop here on a regular. I went with a Churro Shake and an order of Churros bites. The shake totally tastes like a drinkable Churro and they give you a Churro straw, which is my favorite part. Also I love Carmel sauce at the bottom of the cup when you get to the end. This is my favorite Churros spot because I have yet to find any other Churro with this light airy crisp yet soft texture. Usually I find churros to be made with a heavier like dough, but not at Churros Huesos! They've mastered the cook and the cinnamon sugar mixture is the perfect blend. read more

Tried this at Food Truck Friday. Smelled so good, I had to investigate. Huge variety of choices! I had the #7-churros and ice cream. I opted for vanilla ice cream. So much food! So delicious! Ice cream alive was amazing but using the churros as a spoon was the best idea. The syrups (caramel & chocolate) complimented the flavor. Sitting in a rock in the park with a cool breeze and enjoying the treat was wonderful. My partner had the plantains. So good too. Took me back to our many trips to San Juan, PR and the fried plantain desserts. Highly highly recommend both items! read more

This was our first time trying this food truck up here in sun valley area, and man were we missing out! I didn't expect it to be as busy as it did, but having the beeper was such a convenience as you have to wait in your car, anyways, We ordered two items from the menu, churro bites and the frozen macho. These were so amazing!!!! Absolutely delicious. The first bite instantly we were like mind blown by how delicious the deserts were. 10/10. Totally would go again.... And again...and AGAIN y'all. read more

I waited roughly maybe 15-25 minutes which I'm not complaining about because I know churros take a while especially when it's a bigger quantity. When I did get the food the churros were cold and greasy. Had they been fresh they would've got a better rating because I did like the taste but it was just too cold for that wait. Not the best first experience. read more

Great churros super fresh not burnt to a crisp. Always catch them on the weekends. With the other foods trucks lined up.

One of the best food trucks in Sunvalley, my family and I love coming to get churros and ice cream! So delicious, I just wish they were open more days of the week. Great people always nice and so many options on the menu. Fairly priced as well! read more

Placed an order with door dash and the driver sat there for 20mins. So sad that he had to sit there not fare for the driver. Gave him a extra tip. He had to pick Dairy Queen up before his pick up there. They had plenty of time to have the order ready. They should not be allowed to to be on any of the delivery apps. The churros were not cooked all the way. Very disappointed. read more

Haven't visited this truck but I stopped by their stand at the Rib Cook Off and omfg these churros are the best churros I've ever had to the point that if I needed to hire a dessert food truck I'd definitely hire them. The only option available was churros, no ice cream or toppings or anything. Line was long enough that it was fresh fresh. Crispy on the outside, soft and even a little gooey in a good way on the inside. And the sweetness level was great. Absolutely 5 star no doubt. read more

So excited to check this place out. We got confused about the online ordering because no confirmation-not their fault! The churros are so special and delicious- perfectly cooked. And they hold up the next morning too! The churro bag is a BARGAIN. read more
