    Menu in a drive-in stall

Gathered here with school friends to celebrate the end of the school year. Easy to find with the big signage off Prater. Pulled into their parking lot and had lots of stalls which was convenient. Our group kind of caused a back up in the ordering line. It has an old school feel to it and only one cashier to order from. The lady at the ordering window was great and friendly. Lots of menu signs and tons of options to order especially in the ice cream flavors. We enjoyed their Oreo and mango ice cream shakes. Tasty, thick, and creamy! The 12 oz, small, cup was more than enough to enjoy in one sitting. There was lots of seating which made it nice for our group to sit and mingle.

I love Scoopers! I think the Bullseye Burger is their best burger on the menu. I would rather eat it than In n Out any day! I recommend getting their fries double cooked if you like them more crispy. I also recommend getting any of their milkshakes with fruit. They use real fruit and it is delightful. The gal that usually is working the window when we go is a doll. Her customer service is great! The vibes are a cute retro experience. Last but not least, they also do pup patties aka a patty without salt

Scoopers was dinner on our lazy Sunday evening. It was pretty busy and I hadn't been here since I was a teenager. I was sad to see you couldn't drive in and order from the speaker anymore, but I get with the area that they may have had to transition for safety purposes. Food is always fresh since it's made to order, so prepared to wait a little. We ordered a quarter pounder, a single cheeseburger, and a kids grilled cheese, onion rings, fries and a Reeses peanut butter and a marshmallow milkshake. We decided to dine in my car since the dining room was pretty packed and it was too chilly to sit outside. We didn't want to wait any longer after receiving our food to eat. Our food was piping hot and delicious. Their onion rings and their milkshakes are two of my favorite things about Scoopers. Their prices to portion ratio is fair. Their deal for a family of 4 is a steal. The service yesterday was outstanding given how busy they were. We look forward to our next visit and trying more milkshake flavors.

The outdoor sign advertised a special for a single cheeseburger, fries AND shake for $8.50!!!! Who can beat that price??? We ordered that for my teen daughter while my mom and I each ordered the mushroom burger. We also ordered the chili cheese fries. We had no idea that most of their specialty burgers are double patty! These burgers are huge. We easily could have split one. All the burgers were juicy and perfectly cooked. The swiss cheese pull of the mushroom burger shows they do not skimp and the pickles tasted home made/great quality. My daughter loved the single and I would easily order that that as well since I lean towards being a classic burger purist. The chocolate shake was also very good. The chili cheese fries were amazing. I grew up in Metro Detroit which is known for iconic Coney Island chili dogs and fries. This chili was very similar except for Scoopers adds beans. Makes me want to come back and try a chili dog. If you are in Reno skip the boring casino faire and give Scoopers Drive In a try. Easy stop after a day in Virginia City. It was good and we were hungry .....so we forgot to take pics of the food . Menu pics only that does not include that 8.50 special.

I've heard of Scoopers for a long time and we finally stopped by! They have a massive menu with so many options. I went with a hot dog that is filled with cheese, wrapped in bacon, and deep fried! The deep fried part was light and not too much to the point of making it crunchy. It was delicious! The side order of fries is small but they were crisp. It came with a side of ranch which was some of the best ranch I've had in a long time, you can tell it's homemade! I got a small butterfinger shake too which was so good. The amount of milkshake flavors is almost overwhelming, they have something for everyone. My husband thought his chocolate shake was even better than In-N-Out shakes! Not the most healthy meal, but that's not what you come to a drive-in diner for--we enjoyed treating ourselves! We were a bit surprised by the price, it was $50 for us to get a hot dog with fries, a burger with fries for my husband, a kids meal, and two shakes. I would've expected closer to the $35-40 range. Regardless, we still enjoyed our experience here and will likely be returning!

Small and medium example of milk shakes! Totally worth the price!

Me and my son love coming here for our milkshakes. He has braces and every time he sees his dentist, they give him a free shake coupon. (counter active I know lol) I love the multiple different sizes they have. Snack sized up to "my boyfriend dumped me and took my dog" size.

Just love scoopers line of course was 10 Deep so we pulled in parked and ordered from our phone it was great we waited literally 10 minutes and then went to the side window picked up our drinks and our fries and sat in our car and ate them while the line kept growing so we were done and out of there by the time we would have even gotten to the front window we loved it got to love scoopers

My husband was craving a classic diner burger and scoopers had great reviews so we decided to give it a try! When we got there, there was no line. You park your car and you order at the window. I ordered a double cheeseburger and my husband ordered the half pound burger. I asked the cashier if she liked their fries and she said yes but well done is better so I said I'll have that and a chocolate banana milkshake. They said they'd bring our food to our car which was nice. We got in our car and waiting like 3 minutes and our food was delivered to us! Such quick service and nice staff members! Our burgers tasted fresh, the fries were perfect saltiness and crisp and the milkshake was the best one I've ever had! Had bits of fresh banana and it was thick and creamy! 10/10 recommend the shakes! They have too many flavors to choose from!

Ordered a hot pastrami because I wanted something salty to go with my boysenberry shake. Did not disappoint though bun definitely different than bread at a Jewish deli. Medium thick sliced. Onions rings was good though I probably should have gotten a dipping sauce. Shake was yummy. Small is a bit smaller than I expected.

Cheeseburger was great, milk shake was great, onion rings AWFUL. If I wanted frozen, processed crap onion rings, I'd go to Burger King.

The hotdogs have that snap and the buns are steamed just right. All the ingredients are fresh and you're given plenty of them on each hotdog.. Im really picky about chili.but their chili cheese dog has always been my favorite chili dogs from anywhere..I get mustard and onions on it as well. But my all time favorite from there is their special they have once or twice a year for a couple weeks to a month. Its the coleslaw dog... they slaw is perfect. Not too much mayo or huge chunks of cabbage. And there are 2 other hotdogs I like from there. The cheese dog (LOADED with freshly grated cheddar) and the Chicago dog . They also have a good fritos chili bowl and chopped up hotdogs. But its not just about the food there. Yes thats amazing but the vibe and atmosphere, the staff and the decor.. the decor is great. Hotdogs and weiner dogs everywhere..lol.. the staff is always so nice and after going awhile, the owner Kristine remembers your name. She treats you like family and just has a caring heart.. she has so much love for the community, the food, staff and restaurant in general . Sinbads is the best hotdog place in northern Nevada.

I'm still going down a long list of burger places to compare. Beefy's is my 5th place to try…read more Local spot with character and plenty of seating inside and out with the combo of bar+bus+picnic tables. Lots of fans including mist fan outside to fight the heat. Bus feels spacious but seating is a bit cramped with tiny metal bench seats. Service was great but the place wasn't busy at all on a weekday mid afternoon after the typical lunch period. I noticed quite a few reviews mentioned the prices were high. And when I got the bill for $60 for two people with tax and tip I might have agreed, at first, especially if my main repeat burger joints were In-n-out/Wendy's/Jack-n-Box. But comparing to those places is not apples-to-apples. It's 1/3 lbs patties here (70% more than the just below 1/4 lbs of meat you get on a Double Double) and quite a step up in meat quality from those chains. About $16+ for single patty burger and $20+ for double, but that also includes fries and a drink. I get the feeling people complaining about the prices have to be burger addicts with the review perspective of a frequent In-n-Out patron which allows getting your "fix" more frequently on the average budget. Burger is high quality all around and they cooked them actually medium rare as ordered. Many places don't give a cook temp option or still overcook. Fries were great, better than the freezer burnt airy texture of In-n-Out. My only criticism is both the fries and the patty had too much salt but not to an inedible point. A common occurrence though given the cook's and/or typical frequent fast food eater's salt-desensitized palate. So Beefy's ties at #2 with The Parlor sitting between my #1 Royce and #3 Archie's, then #4 Juicy's. Armando & Sons and Barrio Burger are next.

For starters, the food is decent…read more With that said, if you advertise Happy Hour prices, they should be honored. I went specifically for the Happy Hour wings, and when I received the check, the price didn't reflect the amount stated on the menu. I asked to speak with the owner, and instead of correcting it, she told me she gave me a quarter off and, with a smug smile, said, "Thank you very much." Sorry, lady, but your food isn't that great for you to be so confidently rude. In addition, this was my second visit this week. I only returned because my sister loves chicken wings, and because of the advertised "Happy Hour" price, I decided to give them another try. We also ordered a plain burger to go with just cheese, and when I got home, it was loaded with all the fixings, including sauce. I called several times to have the issue addressed, but no one answered. When I told the servers about the situation during this visit, instead of trying to make it right, they gave me a half-hearted apology. So yes, the food might be diner decent, but the owner's attitude and the poor service make the entire experience worse. I've worked in customer service for over 30 years, and not once have I treated a paying customer the way I was just treated. And if they want to respond to this review to justify their shitty service, great. Go for it. I was polite the entire time. All I asked was to be heard, for their advertised pricing to be honored, and for some basic appreciation for my business by simply making things right. Instead, the owner insultingly put two quarters on the table, as if 50 cents somehow made up for the $8-$9 difference we were being overcharged. It didn't. If anything, it made an already frustrating situation feel even more dismissive. And it really was an easy fix. If they couldn't adjust the Happy Hour pricing for whatever reason, she could have easily taken the $18 pastrami sandwich off the bill to make up for both the pricing discrepancy and the incorrect order we received during our previous visit just two days earlier. I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable. I was asking for an owner to recognize that her restaurant had made mistakes on two separate visits and make a genuine effort to correct them. In a city full of burger options, she had an opportunity to turn a negative experience into a positive one and potentially make lasting customers out of my family and me. Instead, she chose to be dismissive, smug, and rude over something that could have been resolved in a matter of minutes. That tells me everything I need to know about how she values her customers.
