Hot dog & fries with cheese
    Dianna D.

Ive own the owners of this hotdog truck for over 5 years, Esteban and his wife are incredibly kind and attentive. They make amazing hotdogs, its a bacon wrapped sausage topped with avocado sauce, mayo, ketchup, fried onions, parmesan cheese & a fried jalapeño. they also have ignacios ( nachos with meat and cheese ) and fries. the food is always fresh and made right in front of you. I saw a few reviews saying their company name was " the race " but La Raza in spanish is another word for family, which is the same way they treat you. theres always people to laugh with and enjoy your dinner. its located infront of the 7-11 on Vassar with pretty good parking on both sides of the street. definitely worth giving it a try!

This hot dog has everything except mustard, onions and jalapeños. I added some spice with Tapatío.

This is one delicious hot dog! I've walked by this stand several times over the last couple years and never stopped for a bite. I was looking for a late night and quick bite to eat, and remembered that this hot dog stand was right around the corner from my house. I could've walked, but it was after 10pm and decided to drive. Parking was not an issue on Wells Avenue. I walked right up and ordered my dog. The man preparing my hot dog was super friendly (even though there had been a huge thunderstorm earlier that night). I got everything on my hot dog except for mustard, onions, and jalapeños. The assortment of hot sauce was amazing, but I was glad to see my favorite--Tapatío. For only $5 it was an excellent hot dog.

Best hotdogs in town! I drive all the way from Carson to eat these bad boys

Best hotdogs in town !! I used to go to another one down the street but these blow those out of the water . Definitely worth the drive from Carson , every weekend . These are the best . And the owners are awesome people !

This food cart is magic. Three days a week starting at 6pm sharp you have the opportunity to share one of the coolest street food experiences in Reno. People and their children gather round the single plastic table/bench in the back dining area patiently awaiting their food. The hotdogs are served with a fresh jalepeno off the grill. Go for it, order everything on your mexican hotdog, cause its bomb! My only complaint is the fries take too long. But thats understandable -- they are cooking them with a propane fueled fryer. Check this unsung hero in the food truck scene here in Reno.

I was told by someone, there is this hot dog cart on wells and its delicious, a week ago while I was at Heladeria Morelia with my wife, he started talking about this Hot Dog Cart, so we gave them a try, IT IS AWESOME! really have to try them among all the hot dogs I have tried in the area, this are the BEST! I has hooked right away, to the point that I was looking for them again on Wednesday but they just open on weekends, I wont change them ever,. Also the owners are very friendly, happy and clean.

They refuse to serve tap water and only allow you to purchase water bottles (cheap, generic kind), which is ridiculous. They give you salsa, but you have to pay for chips. The restaurant itself was very noisy from fans/music/staff and it was hard to talk at our table. $70 (before tip) for 2 orders of tacos, 1 non-alcoholic beverage, and chips/guac is absurd. We won't be back.

First off, huge shoutout to the staff at both locations. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. We had a group of about 12 showing up and ordering at different times, plus another large party there, and they handled it all really well. The patio has such a great Midtown vibe, and I'm always happy supporting local small businesses. We ordered a little bit of everything: ribeye gorditas with homemade tortillas, street tacos, quesadillas, loaded papas, elote, and I even attempted the AYCE tacos. The carnitas was some of my favorite in town, the guac was delicious, and my friend loved the skirt steak tacos. Plus, the three salsas they serve are all so good. Tacos are always subjective, but I'd absolutely recommend giving Ana's a try because there's something for everyone on the menu. The cocktails are fun too, and I'll definitely be back.

The entrance is the front, but I have seen people come through the deck, as parking is back there. They just walk up to the hostess booth. The parking lot is small and cam house most of the patrons. If not there are plenty of street parking that are either metered or not. Just depends if you want to pay or not. We orders a quesadilla for the little ones and them some not street tacos for us. The tacos have plenty of protein so dont over order. Worse case you can take them home. We also got some appetizers. The ahi was fresh. Their was a culmination of citrus and a sauce. I can't put my foot on. But it was delicious. Since we also had some chips and dip. I did place some ahi onto of the chips for some crunch. I rate the service a 5 out of 5. They were attentive, even with the dinner rush. They gathered plates and provided water in good time. They were so prompt with the food as well. It came out fresh and quickly. We ordered another taco as one of the little ones preferred carne asada. Great service staff for sure. Must go to place, if your ever downtown.

As someone who's used to Southern California Mexican food, I usually find a lot of the Mexican restaurants in Reno to be a bit bland.
