And just as I was thinking that, daddy's coffee truck appeared. They were offering free drinks, which of course is the way to my heart (daddy's is very community-oriented and philanthropic so no surprise at their generosity). My only suggestions for improvement is some more logos on the side of the truck (there's just the one at the front) and perhaps using names to call out drinks (their taco truck uses buzzers which works super well too). Otherwise, thanks for this great addition to the coffee truck scene, daddy's!

I really liked the spice in the Buffalo sauce and has a good amount on the slider. I ask for extra because I like to have the sandwich saturated in it but you don't need it. The chicken was juicy and I felt it was an appropriate size for the slider. I tried a bite of my friends hog wild and it was good but the BBQ sauce was a little sweet for me. The meat was nice a tender and you got a good amount on the slider. I'll definitely go back to this truck. There are a couple of more things I want to try on the menu. I'm a sucker for loaded fries and they have quite a few options.

The employees, however, were somewhat friendly but at the same time, they kind of made me feel like they just wanted to rush me into ordering quickly.. you can't just order quickly when you need to read the board to see what comes on the burger... unless you're a regular and know the board by heart I guess.. they also could have, maybe learn to smile more.. maybe even say "welcome in" to the customers that come in. It was quiet in the restaurant when I was there, as there was only 1 other person sitting in eating. So I would have given 5 stars if they would have been a little more welcoming, but this time im only giving 4 stars for the food...

Staff is very friendly and attentive. Got the BBQ chicken. A very generous portion of what looks like pre-cut thigh meat pieces, not like the teriyaki shops that slice it up after cooking. It was so much I had to eat it in two sittings an hour apart. Wasn't juicy but wasn't overly dry either. Marinade/sauce they use is milder flavor compared to most Teriyaki. But this is Hawaiian BBQ not Teriyaki. Rice was perfectly cooked and a good portion size. Mac salad, pasta was a little mushier than I prefer and also fairly mild tasting but still very good. It's more food than you get most places for $15 these days. 4.5 for the food but that's just based on one menu item. Combined with the ambiance and generous Aloha service, overall a 5. I look forward to trying other stuff on the diverse menu.
