New favorite! I love everything about the 3 taco combo from Hello Tacos. Their food really stands out , a lot better than the old usual! I tried 3 different meats; carnitas, carne asada, and al pastor, each delicious and flavorful! What else did I love? 1. Single tortillas instead of the usual double. Nicely toasted, chewy, and held together perfectly! 2. I didn't have to ask for a fresh roasted chile pepper! Spicy little Serrano! 3. Spicy red salsa and zesty green salsa, 2 each of both. 4. Slice of fresh cucumber to put out the fire in my mouth after each taco! I needed it with that Serrano! 5. The beans!!!!!! Whole white beans with rice. 6. Grilled onions too! This was a large meal for a 'lady', but I ate every bite! Guess I got 2 meals for the price of one! Ha! You order from a computer screen, which took a few minutes to figure out. Scroll down! Omg, so good! If you ever come across Hello Tacos, stop and order their food or a horchata! Their burritos were filled to the max and quesadillas were cooked so well! The horchata was amazing! The price was a little high, but was totally worth it! The service was excellent. The person taking our order was so friendly and was able explain everything they offer. This taco truck frequently stops by my apartment complex and I finally caved and placed a to-go order instead of cooking dinner. There was a large ipad-like screen where you can view the menu and place your order. I ordered 4 carne asada and 2 al pastor tacos and they were great! Each order came with a few slices of cucumbers, a pepper, and extra limes. The meat was tender and delicious, although their salsa is not hot as I expected. read more

So we are pigeon Head brewery and there we there. Wife and I decided to give it a try. She can't eat tortillas or rice so they hooked her up with a HTB bowl. We tried Hello Tacos on a Friday night after looking up new things to try for dinner. It's a cute little food truck with a short menu but tasty options. I opted for a carne asada burrito. The burrito was a good size and came stuffed with the meat, rice, beans, cheese, cilantro, and onions. I am very picky about my meat, so I usually go with the vegetarian options when I try a new spot. They had a mushroom mix as their vegetarian "meat." I took a chance and tried the carne asada. It was very tasty! I will say it was a little salty but the other ingredients in the burrito complimented it nicely so it wasn't overbearingly salty. My only cons were the options for salsa. I would have appreciated a spicier salsa or a red salsa. I would have also love a small side of guacamole for the price of the burrito. We did get to meet the owner or person in charge while we waited in line. They were very kind and cheerful. In all, I will be trying Hello Tacos again! Definitely a must if you want authentic tasting Mexican comfort food! read more

Loved the grilled onions and they don't skimp on the meat. Didn't have to ask for enough salsa because they automatically give you more than enough. Service I hired Hello Taco Truck for a private event with about 60 guests. I was quoted $1,200 for 4 tacos per person. What was never explained up front is how they actually charge. Guests naturally took 2-3 tacos at a time, expecting they could return for more until they reached 4. Instead, the owner charged me as if each trip was a full 4-taco order--even if someone only grabbed 1, 2, or 3 tacos. This meant that if a guest took 2 tacos, I was still billed as if they had 4--making those tacos cost $10 each. In one case, even a child who ate only 1 taco was billed to me as $20. When guests returned later to complete their 4 tacos, I was told this counted as an entirely new order. At the end of the night, I was hit with an unexpected bill for $1,850, far above the $1,250 I was quoted. When I raised the issue, the owner openly admitted he doesn't track taco counts, doesn't ensure guests get what's paid for, and charges per "ticket" regardless of how many tacos were actually served. This practice is misleading and unfair. In reality, most of my guests ended up paying the equivalent of $20 for 2 tacos instead of 4. That is not what was promised or agreed upon. I cannot recommend this truck to anyone. The pricing model is deceptive, and in my experience, the owner is taking advantage of customers rather than being transparent. read more

First time trying Hello Tacos and I'm here to report they were absolutely delicious! We were immediately greeted by Luis who went beyond with the customer service. We ordered tacos de campechanos (a combo of asada and chorizo). You get the best of two meats combined. Everything about it from the tortilla, fixings, sauce, and the meat were all well seasoned and flavorful.
