And just as I was thinking that, daddy's coffee truck appeared. They were offering free drinks, which of course is the way to my heart (daddy's is very community-oriented and philanthropic so no surprise at their generosity). My only suggestions for improvement is some more logos on the side of the truck (there's just the one at the front) and perhaps using names to call out drinks (their taco truck uses buzzers which works super well too). Otherwise, thanks for this great addition to the coffee truck scene, daddy's!

From quickly and efficiently taking orders, to helping fill those tiny little containers with sauce, they cover it all. Did I mention the FOOD yet? It's so good and always SO MUCH FOOD too. They focus on delivering quality and quantity, and they hit on every mark! My favorite is the hibachi chicken. I know. SO boring, but so classic and so delicious. The hibachi grill gets good and hot and the chicken gets a great char on it. I am salivating as I write. Give them a try!

First off, I have to admit I completely underestimated the magnitude of this event as Idlewild Park was pretty poppin and parking was nearly impossible. After we finally found a spot to park, we grabbed out chairs and headed to the Park. After picking our spots by the duck pond, we walked around a bit to survey the offerings. We tried three different trucks and sampled some pretty delicious bites. Some of the lines were a long wait and some were moving along pretty fine. But there's pretty much something for everyone. I would definitely hit this up again, but probably try to arrive earlier to plan better parking. It was a bit of a challenge navigating this for the first time, but at least I know what to expect now. I really wish my hometown had something like this. May try it again later this summer.
