I ordered through the Uber Eats app for pickup, and ordered two slider combo meals with extra sauces. I ordered two items that were the same with different spice levels. There was no way of indicating which order was spicier as they both tasted the same between country and mild. I've ordered mild before and had it be too spicy, but this time I couldn't taste much of the spice. I also ordered two extra sauces and we were only given one. I liked the cook of the chicken. As for the sliders, the chicken only took up half the amount of bun space, and so I had to squish the chicken to get some in every bite. Maybe a hot dog style bun would work better. The pickles and toppings were okay. I expected more crunch and cohesiveness for the sandwich from previous experience of dining in with this restaurant. As I was waiting in line at the location on S Virginia and Moana and my partner called the restaurant while in line and you could noticeably see that the cashier was ignoring the calls and even rolling his eyes at the incoming calls that were coming through. Murals decorate the walls, and the whole place just feels clean and revamped. Was excited to see the great reviews and the availability on DoorDash while I was staying at circus circus so it was a no brainer in terms of where to get dinner from. Order arrived quickly, got the 2 tender combo that came with fries spice level hot. I felt like not only was the chicken overcooked it wasn't seasoned. The finishing hot oil/spice was good (wasn't hot though) but inconsistent over the chicken and only on the outside and again the chicken was overcooked (so chicken itself was a bit dry) and worse, I don't think they season the chicken before they fry it and put that finishing hot oil/spice on it. The seasoning on the fries also inconsistent but the ones that were seasoned were good not sure if that's on purpose to only season some as this is how it is in other photos. The chicken is nicely seasoned on the outside, it doesn't taste like it was marinated, it was a little dry but breast meat sometimes tends to be dry if not cooked perfectly, better than raw though. The chicken sandwich is a little awkward with a round bun and long chicken strip hanging out the ends and parts of only bread and no chicken. The mac n cheese is good, my 11 yr old that doesn't like spicy, ate the whole thing even with spicy seasoning on top. Only problem is that they put it on top of paper so the paper melts into the cheese. The service is exceptional. The lady is really nice. I love this location. 1st time I came here about 6 months ago it was really good, I was looking forward to coming back while in town. When I came in the second time it was the worst chicken I have ever had. Whoever cooked it has no business cooking anything. It was so overfried the chicken inside shrank and turned to rubber. Maybe I hit a not great day in the breading department? My boss orders from here all the time and it smells delicious, so after a workout the boyf and I decided to order a tender box. We didn't see an option to determine spice level on the online page. For $38 we got six huge tenders. When ordering we wondered whether or not we would feel that the amount of chicken was worth nearly $40. We are ambivalent on that question. The problem was the breading. The breading was cake like even hot from the fryer. It was also flavorless. It was like a bland biscuit. The chicken itself was perfectly moist. Which was a huge plus. Once we removed the breading and dipped the chicken in the sauce we were happy. But really, the breading, made me wish we had gone to Popeyes next door. The sandwiches came with 3 pickles and a light smear of mayo with the coleslaw I had added and a piece of breaded chicken. The buns were melt in your mouth soft and tender, as was the chicken, which made a wonderful combination of flavors.
